| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh good, Subaru is back on track now after his despair. Rem's talk with him really did help quite a bit. Glad to see Crusch on board with the negotiations. I also kinda like her battle gear, pretty simple but suits her well with the cape. She's so ready against that monster Whale. I think the episode did a decent job with building up a lot. Rem and Subaru still shares a strong connection this episode too. Dat cell phone though I can't help but also lol @ Rem's little rivalry:  |

| Gah these episodes go by way too fast. - Nice to see the contrastingly positive tone of this episode. Curious to see whether all the praise Subaru will go to his head again/how he will react as things inevitably turn for the worse again. - that stare from Rem at the dragon xD - Mimi is too cute ^-^ - Overall, loving the side characters more and more this episode. - That cellphone music... Overall a perfect setup for the next episode. Hyped to see the battle next episode! |
| Laughed at Rem when she felt some rivalry towards the dragon lol, lil Rem is too adorable. Finally mah nigga Subaru negotiated! and thus we go kill that fcking giant whale gluttony. Loved the last part when all of em were frozen af then Subaru and Rem charged and El Hyuma'd that MOTHERFCKER! Subaru be like "FOLLOW ME TO VICTORY!" NEP's gonna be epic!!!! |

This is such a different episode compared to the suffering and despair that we're used to. Great episode. The last scene with the ring tone was genius.  |
| Down on the West Coast They got a sayin' |
| They put a lot of focus on Willhelm which I like a lot. This will pay off big time. I also love how they're focusing on what the Whale actually means for residents in this world. It's not only Subaru that has his problems with this beast but no several people have negative experiences with it. The presence of the beast even has an influence on the economy of the entire kingdom. The ending part was handled so well. The uplifting cellphone alarm gets a creepy feeling to it because we know that it means the beast is here. The way it got distorted once we saw the whale was a big plus on that. And then it's Subaru who is rushing forward instead of being in the backlines pretending to do something only to justify himself. This shows that Subaru slowly but steadily actually wants to do things but doesn't hesitate everywhere because of his weaknesses. |

| I totally forgot to watch this live and had to watch from RAW release lol. Anyway, Rem's scene is so much love!!! Also... Wilhelm and the flower scene is short but sweet. Can't wait for next episode's flower scene! |

| That "Spat" between Rem and the ground dragon was hilarious. That Cell Phone Music synced up brilliantly with the shit that was about to go down! Fucking awesome! Crusch was awesome! She might be my second favorite girl in this anime. AND SUBARU AND REM TAKE THE FIRST SHOT!!!! Damn this ending got me PUMPED UP! |

| Liked the way Subaru handled the negotiations this week, also glad to learn more about Wilhelm. Astrea family too sad. Crusch-sama looking gorgeous this week, armor plus ponytail? Thank you WF. Guess we are heading towards the climax of Arc 3. |

| Overall great adaptation with some of Wilhelm's backstory fleshed out.... can't wait for next week's for some White Whale hunting~~~ |
| Even though not a lot of things happened in action terms, it was still great episode to watch. The battle next week should be awesome :-) |

| What's this? An episode where Subaru doesn't shout his lungs out? This anime got 100% more tolerable, and though at this point it's pretty much impossible to save this failure of a narrative, I'm glad I'm finally enjoying it. Looking forward to next week's battle. |
| They used Subaru's ringtone as the ending song and it worked perfectly making the White Whale's entrance seem eerie. I can't wait to see this fight go down. Please don't eat Rem. |

| Really good build up episode. He's still on the road t recovery but it's really nice to see Subaru with new foot forward. Why do they know about the deaths of e.g. Wilhelms wife? No only ones erased are forgotten not killed. You will see how it does that next week. |

| Great episode. Loved everything about it. Looks like Rem has found herself another rival. lol Loved how they focused on Wilhelm, he's an interesting character and Crusch was great as well, good to see my favorite character. |

| Finally negotiating Subaru is back!! But isn't he underestimating Hakuge way too much?? And why didn't he mention the "wipe from existence" thing. Sure it'll be suspicious but he should at least mention it. Rem jelly of the dragon was so cute and her talk with Subaru under the tree was so damn nice. She's just soooo much <3<3 Subaru's charge at the end with Rem's Huma waking Crusch up from her slight fears was awesome to see Can't wait for Willhelm flashbacks |

Someone please tell me, It could be the result of a rush, but how can Subaru make a deal on the name of Roswald and Emilia? Even talk about mining magical stones like he owned these and the lies detector did not work? He is just guest and how can he make a deal that big, and how Anastashi entered Crusch masion so easy, even overheard the conversation? Btw Does Subaru personality "improve" or he jsut the same, just being burdened by that heroic talk with Rem? Ill pretend that there is no ep 13-18. |

| So I keep seeing stuff on the ringtone, does anyone know what its from? Great episode Subaru definitely learned from his past mistakes in negotiations. I am surprised Subaru was able to put up the mines in his deal without consulting Roswal. Rem is still so cute an awesome in this episode <3 Still would make the perfect wife Subaru ;) Next episode is going to be legit cannot wait to see it animated!!! |
