These girls are legitimately awesome. I'm especially happy to see more Kiyoko and how much more opened up she's become. While I feel it's being used to inform more than anything, it's also helped the audience connect with her more, so nothin' against that! Other than that the episode was, as usual, very solid. It's nice that Shouyou realises the limits of the moves his combination with Kageyama allows him to pull. Those freak quicks Karasuno is so reliant on are not as godlike as they seem, and as the team keeps fighting stronger and stronger schools, this will become more and more obvious. As Nekoma's old man pointed out, it's a choice between building on the team's existing strengths or pushing for an evolution of their gameplay. This arc is going to be great. |

I find the Little Giant really attractive ( + . + ) Bokuto is so energetic. I love his "Hey, hey, hey!!" Actually, I prefer Inouka better than Lev. The part about Lev's name is priceless for people who know Russian xDD  |

| Finally Hinata gets to meet Lev. Cant wait to see more awesome strategies coming from Karasuno ... just like Nekoma's coach said, are they happy being here with their power or are they ready to evolve even more. |

| It seems that the fact that Lev doesn't understand his role in the game and is overly arrogant based on raw luck and talent is influencing Hinata poorly. Tanaka's sister gave the line about Little Giant being an ace that had that aura about him that changed the entire team, really focused on making the ace stand out as the main member rather than a teammate. And, Lev already kinda getting the position Hinata has worked so hard for via no hard work presumably and raw talent, as well as his line about "the ace is who scores the most" are pushing Hinata to maybe forget about the lesson we learned in season 1: mistakes are on the team and victories are too. The next episode being called greed makes me think he's going to be pushing it too far. It makes sense that Hinata would feel that way especially with the team they beat catching up to their freak quick and other teams shutting it down. He needs to find some footing to improve so they can win. Let's hope if I'm right about all of this he gets reminded that he's wrong and playing a one person game is never the way to go. I love how Hinata can be such good friends with Kenma and Inuoka and how he allows Kenma to be so comfortable being social. :) I think Kenma described Lev well. He's too honest. And he's clumsy. But he has an excellent natural ability. He's arrogant because of the talent and luck he has and he's honest at voicing those thoughts. But at the same time, I think he's not a bad person. He likes competition and he liked making it with Hinata. It wasn't mean-spirited but rather a challenge to make sure both push themselves. That all said, I hope he gets shown his place in their game. I think there's some interesting truth in the gossip that was said before Hinata and Kageyama arrived. Karasuno isn't a weak team, but they went 0-9. They're strong but they require their killer offense involving Hinata and Kageyama to keep up with the best teams. Without them, their team composition falls apart and their ultimate decoy doesn't exist to allow Asahi to take clutch points. Lastly, the Nekoma coach had an interesting point. This is a training arc and we can sure bet that the characters will grow from it. But, we also saw Nekoma striving to improve too perhaps by adding in new blood to see what happens. it's awesome to see opponents trying to win as much as the protagonists and to see the different methods of improvement. Hinata, as well as everyone, is still tortured by their loss but they're going to need to find some way to greatly improve and nows the testing ground for that. Evolution or stability?! We'll find out I suppose. I hope Hinata learns to not overstep his position if my prediction becomes accurate so that nothing like that would happen in the tournament matches. |

| the kenma x hinata interaction was so cute, hinata is such a gem!!!! i love nekoma & karasuno's sportsmanship with each other. so cute how lev was waving them bye at the end, lev was arrogant but he seemed like a pretty alright guy from his interactions with hinata |

| Ahaha, I love Saeko and was glad she was in this one...not to mention her driving and pep talk. Also, Kenma is one of my favourite characters of all time. He's so apathetic but underneath I think lies a sad sense of low self-esteem. So, I love when he's in the show. |

| Now that's what you call a show-off. Nice episode. I want to see more Kenma and Kuroo!!! Also, there's that character a lot of people love (the top 5 ace). Also I gotta say, I want more Oikawa. That flashback to when they lost gave me a lot of chills, mainly because they all know how close that match was. |

| this was and OK episode, felt little dragged. or rather, why we need nekoma's coach to say the obvious? karsuno went to tokyo to improve, but instead it looks like without hinata and kageyama the team isn't that good lol. and more, i wanted some match focused episode rather than here and there flash scenes. hope next episodes gonna be more about that, because i'm kinda losing my patience with here-and-there volleyball. |
| Hinata and Kageyama failed a subject each but were able to catch up to the others on the first day. And, 194 cm is absolutely ridiculous for a first year High-Schooler. Other than that, not much to say this episode. I am looking forward to their match with Nekoma and Fukurodani. |
