| At this point, I've gotten used to the fact that A-1 usually puts the crap animation in the group fights so they can save it for the more awesome 1 on 1 fights. -I don't know why I didn't realize it before, but when Sho was freaking out, I figured out it was Yoshii from BakaTest. He does a good psycho voice. -"I have found a way in underwater" "Really, that's great" "I HAVE BEEN PRAISED! NOT YOU, BUT I JUVIA!" I love Juvia :D -Yes, that's right. Etherion. Just keep piling up the Rave Master fanservice Mashima -I'm trying to forget the manga as much as possible, so I don't know how much they censored Erza's eye loss, but the implication was still there. |

| Really enjoyed this episode from start to finish. Juvia's screen time was just the right amount and the icing on the cake. Same with Virgo. |

But I thought it was a reasonable pace that's still enjoyable, imo, without having to make it into more episodes. I'd rather have episodes like this than watch 3 slow episodes filled with unnecessary rambling to reach the same ending. |

| Hard to believe Erza had such a background story, growing up in such a place. I wonder what happened to her eye and how did it heal? That cat room looked very nice, that cat girl is really addicted to cats it's very cute. The reaction of the guards at Lucy and Virgo was so funny, and Virgo personality makes it even better. I like the addition of Juvia to the group she is very useful and she has a funny personality. One thing i am wondering about that, her cloak it was held together by a Fairy Tail button is she already officially a Fairy Tail member? |
| I feel like they kind of rushed through Erza's story a little.....It didn't even get a whole half an episode to itself. I don't think it was that great an episode......... But you've got to love crazy psyco jealous Juvia!! |

| One thing I didn't care for was them revealing Jellal like they did. He's supposed to be a secret, not blurting out who he is right from the start. You're not even supposed to see his face for a good while longer. Fail! Other than that, it was a decent episode. |

| I'm glad it was kind of fast paced because I didn't feel bored at any point during this episode. Juvia and Erza are so fucking amazing. That is all. :) |
I'm always a sucker for a good tragic backstory, plus things seem to be moving along well. So I'm giving this a thumbs up. Having Juvia, Erza, Lucy (& by extension Virgo & hopefully Aries later) in this show means I get plenty of pervy fanservice and butt-kicking action, too. :-) |

| Hmm, must be my biased opinion since this my favorite story arc but I think they've animated this episode quite well. Well, that is, other than the fact the intensity and severity is down played (such as censoring Erza's eye loss and pretty much the whole slave thing). Then again, the target audience for this series is supposed to be for...kiddies? Hmm, during the scenes in the tower I see a lot of familiar faces...such as that younger version of Cobra? XD Etherion! More Rave Master fan service, as if Gerard (sp?) and Mistogun aren't enough already, not that I"m complaining ;D |

| I didnt really love this arc, it was okay, I guess I Just disliked the characters from Erza's childhood, in particular Sho. Still Lluvia makes up for it and pretty decent frights coming up. Still in this episode which severs as the set up, didnt they leave out more details from their childhood, I think anyways, its been awhile but I remember it being a bit more impactful. Yea it probably is due to censorship, but still it kinda reduces the whole background for Erza by alot. |

| Wait, isn't that...and isn't that...and that person is... Woah, didn't see that coming. They weren't in the chapter of that part. So it seems this is some sort of extra for the manga readers and an indication that this might get to that arc. Nice episode. A lot of modifications done here from the manga but I'm not surprised now at this point. The return of the mediocre group fight animations was surprising but I guess the budget is saved for the better parts. I always wanted to say this but it was a nice foreshadowing at the OP song about Erza's eyes, though the ED ruined it completely. Next episode continues Erza's story. This arc is not letting me down so far. Juvia is the best one in this episode, followed by Virgo though at the manga it was Cancer Lucy summoned :3 |

| good episode :) though some few weird expressions/faces but it was like that in the manga so i shouldnt complain too much xD and I didn't know Lucy's dress was supposed to be green but it actually looks nice on her :P and i felt like Erza's flashbacks in especially 2nd half of episode was kinda rushed though...maybe its just me..but anyways, little Erza is seriously adorable <3 cant wait for next episode to see little Erza own those guys :3 |
| Btw I forgot to add. Is this Shimono Hiro's first villain role? He's better for ditzy roles like from Kannagi and BakaTest. IMO he's not good here. Better choice might've been Sakurai Takahiro? But he doesn't do small roles so w/e |

| Enjoyed the episode. Glad to see Erza getting her fighting spirit back. I loved Sho's rant, the animation for it was over the top but he had a good performance and the music was perfect. It does kind of feel like Erza's flash backs are kind of on fast forward, but they're still good. The arc's just getting started but already hooked. Hopefully there are no more delays in between episodes, it's hard enough waiting seven days. |
