| Story about Umi this time. It seems this show has its way to soft "reset" its story with the recurring theme of Hairi being involved. Plus, I think it's interesting that Umi and Shiroha has a parent/daughter like relationship. And oh yeah, she disappears of course because that seems to be a recurring trend in this show too. |

| Looks like a Umi arc after all and we have Shiroha joining in the fun. Watching the reactions of Shiroha was fun her embershed face was nice. Umi seems more childlike this time which is refreshing to watch. |

| Umi arc time. I've always wondered what Umi does. Shes a really interesting character and I have many questions which I hope can get answered in her arc. Asides from my curiosity, Umi is as cute as ever. Shes a child so it makes sense but she needs to be protected at all cost. This arc is gonna be really long, but I feel like the ending will be sad for some reason. 5/5 |

| New OP and ED for the final and most important arc! Protect my daughter Umi at ALL costs. Great episode and a nice departure from the previous arcs in that we’re not focusing on romantic love, but familial bonds. This pretty much confirmed the theory I was working with for months about Umi being Hairi and Shiroha’s daughter. It was no coincidence that we went to Umi’s arc after Shiroha’s. So what I’m guessing is that the butterfly that communicates with Kyoko is Shiroha’s regrets from the future maybe? She probably died kinda young and wants her husband and daughter to be closer. Umi not connecting with her father at home and her deep desire for that paternal relationship probably allowed her to go back in time and meet her dad so she could see the pain he’s experienced in life too. They have a lot in common, but probably just never talked about it. All speculation of course, we’ll have to see how things play out, but I’m definitely confident in that being Hairi’s daughter and the point of her being back in the past. The only other thing is that in the ending of last arc, it made it seem like she intentionally was passing thru time and space via that pocket dimension, so maybe it’s a little more complex. |

Since Umi said she doesn’t have a mother anymore) and she came back in time for some other obvious reasons. I’m just wondering where this is heading at this point. What is Umi even trying to do? |

| New OP is a banger, I like it. Nice to see the other girls, however briefly. Hairi does have a long route ahead of him with his 7/100 fried rice haha, but at least he is a pro beginner at fishing (and so is Umi). We do learn a little bit more about Umi's family and circumstances, nice to see Hairi and Shiroha coming onboard as substitute parents. Shiroha and Umi being nervous at the idea of being 'mother' and 'daughter' was both amusing and cute. Awww the origami making and the paper plane throwing must be my favorite moments in the entire novel, nice adaptation of it :) Also gotta love the 'magic diary' and how silly Hairi and Shiroha are acting because of it. Very good episode, very nice beginning to the Alka route :) |
| oookay. i was wondering whose route was next and figured it was Umi's turn... but that turned out peculiar. Hairi gets to be her new 'dad' and Shiroha is her new 'mom'... so, is each 'turn' going to be one of the girls we've previously seen Hairi go down their routes now being Umi's new 'mom' each turn? that's gonna be... a LOT of eps! the author's daughter with the beached pirate ship and weak legs, the butterfly priestess with her pet fox, blonde muguyu, and Shiroha? that's four routes at least! :O |

| New plot point images is both OP and ED. "That's devastatingly low." Main plot is abundantly clear after this EP, no need to even enumerate the tells in the EP. Maybe the story could have spread the indicia out a bit more rather than giving that much at once. "Dad" "I'm not your Dad." One of these propositions must be correct, if you do not yet know which, there's not much hope for you. "Mom" This one also. "One watermelon bar's worth of mothering." Unexpectedly mercenary. |

| It was nice to see Shiroha again so soon since her arc felt a bit short and now she's playing the role of mother to Umi. I recall during Shiroha's arc that there was a scene where Umi's face briefly appeared over Shiroha's so the theory that Shiroha could really be Umi's mom is pretty solid, and of course Hairi being her real father too. On that note I replayed the scene where Umi was in her room with her father coming home late and the hair color on him looks to match Hairi's so that's pretty much confirmed IMO. Anyways, I wonder why Umi went back in time... my guess at the moment is that it was out of sadness and desperation to get to know her parents before something tragic happens which was implied when Umi said she didn't have a mom... |

| Oh fancy seeing you here, Kyoko. You look tired. I'm sure you can finally let Hairi help you out with that shed right? Right?? With Shiroha route part 2: Island Madness Alka route the cat is out of the bag on Umi's role in the story. I wonder if they will change Umi's character status to "Main" as it should be. What was really surprising about the new OP is that they have actually revealed the biggest spoiler character of the whole story. Like this character's entire existence is one massive spoiler. What a peculiar choice they have made. They also even added the Hitomi scene that I don't even think is in the original visual novel, only in supplementary material (could be in RB but I haven't finished that). The writers are cooking with this arc for sure. It's a good time to celebrate if you are a Kamome or Tsumugi fan because this is the only arc outside their own they appear in. I really hope they get the screentime they deserve. A very slow but concise episode to introduce us to the True Route of this show and it's pretty nice. Bar that one pretty egregious animation error it's also one of the best looking episodes. Sit back and enjoy this arc folks because it's gonna be a heavy one. |

| Honestly wasn't expecting a new OP or ED, but both of them were pretty nice and cutesy respectively. =) The focus has now been moved to Umi and knowing more about her backstory of not having a mother anymore and her father feeling more disconnected due to his job does make me feel bad for her. Seeing Hairi and Shiroha both working together in playing the role of parents and hanging out with Umi every day was wholesome. The part where they all made paper airplanes does give me that nostalgic feeling of when I made paper airplanes back I was younger, both at school and at home with my parents. Fun times... One question that remains for me was whoever was talking to Kyoko at the beginning. I get the feeling that person will play an important part, so I'll play the waiting game to see if the question of mine gets answered. |

You can tell she truly wants to make Umi happy (that or she just wants to render sufficient services for the watermelon bar payments) Kamome and Tsumugi finally get to exist again outside of their arcs too lol |
| So they did change the OP and ED, I like them both quite a bit, cool to hear the OP is new for the anime, and I’m ngl ED 1 is incredibly hard to beat but this Umi centric one is also very good, it reminds me a lot of the EDs from Non Non Biyori. And I swear that storage room is never getting cleaned, Kyouko is uber lazy lol, but we did find out she’s been talking to a butterfly and that’s how she knows about Umi and Hairi’s arrivals, interesting but I wanna know what’s in that storage room most of all, also why Kyouko’s cooking is too exotic for consumption lol. But this arc isn’t about that either, looks like this one is Umi focused, I’m a fan of that because she’s built up so much intrigue over the course of the show, but man they are not keeping her secret well at all lol, it’s likely there’s more to it than meets the eye but I think it’s pretty much confirmed who her parents are. This is looking like it’s gonna be pretty upsetting stuff tho, her dad comes home and doesn’t say anything to her and her mom is gone, not sure if that means she’s dead or she left them but it does make me feel for poor Umi, so I was really happy to see Shiroha and Hairi be her mom and dad for the last bit of the episode, the naming schemes for the paper airplanes were something else lol, I gotta start naming things like that too, maybe I’ll call my CD player the Cadillac Mega Ultra Supreme Deluxe Mk 17 or something. It was also nice seeing Kamome, Tsumugi and Boobies- I mean Shizuku again, they each kinda disappeared after their respective arcs so that was nice, glad to see they’re still around. |

Well, a lot of meetings are different now lol. Fried rice quality still be going down too lmao. Nice to see Hairi still got those fishing skills even in a different route. Hairi and Shiroha becoming a couple again this arc and sharing some wholesome moments with Umi was nice. Kinda feels like there's a connection between Umi and Shiroha. | This anime is kinda disappointing to me. It's so obvious who Umi really is, it takes out all the impact that I could receive from a plot twist or something like that. The new opening spoil everything too. Also, I really couldn't care less about the girls, they aren't well developed, they don't have enough screen-time and their stories are dull. Maybe Shiroha is a bit more worked on, but I can't like her at all, leaving only Umi as a good character (and Hairi, of course, since he's the main character). I was really hyped when this anime started, since I love Key adaptations, but this one just doesn't work with me. |

| And Alka is now on air! Damn, that new OP is a heavy spoiler like I don't need to watch the rest anymore. It already says it all LMAO. We've also seen all the girls in Reflection Blue in one shot. I just remember that it already got released in Steam a month ago but the reviews say that the translation is shit so ig I won't be able to play it yet until they update it with better and accurate translation. I was surprised in the first few minutes, the scene with Kyouko-san which is not included (iirc) in the VN so it is very intriguing. I'm just a bit disappointed that they just cut it out straight to Shiroha being selected as Umi's mother. It would be very fun if they included the whole process of Hairi searching for a mom, asking all the girls because all of their reactions and answers are all hilarious. Also, it was hilarious already in the VN the naming of Shiroha to her paper planes. It became even more funny now that it is animated. I was laughing damn hard! Damn Hyper Mustang Dimension IV MK III and Super Mustang Fire Cosmic Mode Lv VII is the best LMAO |
