| My anilist says I've watched 102 titles that aired this year, but this stat hasn't updated in like a week and I've seen like 10 new anime since then. Of previous years, I don't know but I think I started the year with less than 900 completed anime in my list. And it was in August that I hit 1000 anime watched. |

| @Kruszer I tried that too, it says 23, the same as in MAL using "end date". The thing is, there is at least one anime that I am sure (because I wrote a review) I watched this year and would be the 24th anime I watched. |

| As it looks right now, for December 31: Completed seasons: 381 In-progress seasons: 5 Completed movies: 27 Completed OVAs/specials: 50 Completed total episode count (movies counting as 1 episode): 5293 I may add a couple of additional seasons over the next few days as well. |
| According to my hazy memory and MAL (I don't log episodes while currently watching) watched about 18 anime this year and 6 movies. Thought it was more but I did read more manga than usual, almost all anime released this year was a hard pass for me. The only series I really liked this year were Trigun Stampede, My New Boss is Goofy and Pluto. Hope we get better stuff next year. |

I am also not counting the two music entries and some OVA entries I don’t remember A total of around at most 15 completed seasonals and like around 10 watching, I dont follow seasonals that much lol Anyone who has watched more than 300 might need to touch grass idk. 200 was enough to keep me in my room for some time |

| I think only 16 and that's including 4 I'm still currently watching and 4 movies. So just 8 completed series, not a whole lot lol. One of the ones I've been watching is One Piece so that's partly why. I've watched 473 episodes of it this year. But overall I guess I'm not really the type who binges things or goes through a lot of content. |

| @Phosphophyllita Same case here, only 18 watched this year, and somehow most of them aren't even the "hyped" anime of the year. Planning on getting back to watching the good anime, but a lot of the "split cour" anime makes me delay watching the shows until all of them are out, and by the time everything has been released, I forgot to watch the show. |

| I keep track of my stats for each year that I joined MAL, so I have stats from 21/11/22 to 21/11/23. In the past year, I've completed ~1200 anime, or 13.3 days. Most of them MVs and short films cause I haven't had much time to watch TV shows cause of uni. |
