With Tetsuo out from the hospital, his wife Kasen comes to receive him, after Kyoichi agrees to his nonsensical plot to find Nobuto before the time limit.

Everything is on his own from here on, and Tetsuo must consider his options very carefully. With that, the first night with Kyoichi begins with the unease of interrogation, to retrace Nobuto's last steps to this cosplay bar to get Hibiki, Nobuto's girlfriend, before his death. Though how she reaccounts Nobuto, it isn't how Tetsuo perceived he would be, being a ladies man of a boyfriend that remains loyal to her, though Nobuto deserved his death. With Kyoichi tapping on Tetsuo and him knowing what's up, Tetsuo can release his true thoughts with Hibiki, whilst getting new information that he hadn't known yet before as part of his modus operandi to manipulate the situation at hand to give him the upper edge.

An exorbitant check that pays both Kyoichi and Tetsuo towards another organization to infiltrate 2 organizations: Ryuken-gumi and Ouko-tai, they're some of the rowdiest  yakuzas around, that they'd rather pay the 10 million than die. Tetsuo playing his façade against Kyoichi, clearly knowing that he's being eavesdropped, on one hand, the mystery novel fan is playing to his own strengths, but Kyoichi knowing that he killed Nobuto, there's no backing out of the world of death and violence. With the yakuza boss Kubo around, things just got more violent while Tetsuo drags Kyoichi out of danger, the latter preaching his last wishes to him.

The suspense continues...to more hell.

Tetsuo was released from confinement on the condition of finding the whereabouts of the "missing" person. However, Tetsuo's suspicions are still not confirmed and surveillance continues, with the search deadline just days away. Not wanting to involve his family any further, Tetsuo visits the cabaret club where someone who knows Nobuto well works. I like that girl she is quite sexy and oppai, This episode  have a lot cabaret club.

"Tecchan"...

It's almost amusing how they managed to add in some awkward scenes among this thriller. I have to admit that even though Tetsuo was awkward during that conversation at the club, he made a tactical move to find more valuable info. Also have to respect how much Tetsuo cares about his daughter, Reika. He even realizes that as she grows up, there's less time to be with her.

Tetsuo got played into a dangerous game this episode. He's right that their world is one with death and violence.

At this point Tetsuo only traded one threat for another. Retracing Nobuto's footsteps though was pretty fun. Guess hostess clubs are not ideal settings for straight shooter like Tetsuo. But the talk that he had with Hibiki really showed how much he cares about his daughter's well being. Thats quite the bill for the hostess club. But given the time spent with Hibiki standard i guess. They sure ended up getting roped into something pretty crazy though.

Tetsuo just keeps landing himself in bigger and bigger piles of shit.

That move to sow distrust between the host girl and the organization was brilliant.

Good ep. Back when I read manga I stopped around here (a few chapters later) because I didn’t like where the story was going. So now let’s see whether this show is capable of staying as fun as it is now.

What is that thing Tetsuo was wearing? Is it not just a plastic helmet? Or is that really supposed to be a bandage? Never saw anything like it.

Looks like Kyoichi was not in control over what happened in the cabaret club. They really got screwed over there. Kyoichi got a few bullet wounds in him. This could be the end of the line for him.

Wonder how Tetsuo is going to forge evidence. He could scapegoat another person by planting Nobuto's bones. I think one of Nobuto's idiotic friends could make a decent fake suspect. But it seems Kyoichi already got the hunch over Tetsuo's guilt and his fake persona. He's becoming a cool character. I hope he doesn’t die yet. The Kyoichi and Tetsuo dynamic could be great.

Damnnnn I wasn’t expecting Kyoichi to die so soon. I thought they’d form a partnership until the end of the show. I like how Tetsuo was able to plant the seeds of doubt in the host girl’s head. Wonder how that’ll play out. Another really good episode

The plot seems to finally be picking up more. Assuming Kyoichi had a gun on him, I'm assuming Tetsuo grabbed it and shot the guy that confronted them at the end.

Sheesh, this show and it's cliffhangers!

The suspense wasn't that much this episode, but the mystery spreads more. It build up quite a bit on the Yakuza. Well, it was teased by Kasen last episode, but I didn't expected them to be fractured this much.
This is a good opportunity for Tetsuo to decieve them and get back his peaceful family life, but it's hard to read and one misstep, or just bad luck, could get him killed or framed.

I wonder what would help Tetsuo more - if Kyoichi died or survived. But it seems that's not his decision for now...

Don't know if Kyouichi is better of dead or alive as an ally to Tetsuo. Whole Mafia stuff is getting crazier, Nobuto seems to have been a rebel and nobody liked him except for few. It's possible that Tetsuo may save the guy's life, tell him the truth and they'll both fight the crime empire or something?

Ok, Kyouichi probably had a pistol himself and shot the guy at the end.

Damn, I wonder if Tetsuo is gonna save Kyo and if they'll end up partnering against the org and cover up Nobuto's death somehow or he'll go ahead and bury another body...

What I don't understand is why did his boss suddenly show up there with 2 trucks? Maybe their stunt with the car was just a distraction...

A lot of things happened very fast xd

Personally, I found this episode very bland, I expected a little more after starting to collaborate with the criminal gang.

How funny that they plan, propose and cement many things but in the end they do absolutely nothing._.

I really don't know what to expect for the next episode.

Tetsuo: "Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in"

Well, in this case he himself put him back in as he has to now find evidence to convince the yakuza the guy he killed is... still alive? Also, the part about him not commiting anymore crimes, yeah good luck with that now that you have a dude at point blank range about to shoot you.

The suspense has gone up and the thrills of excitement are here. I wanna see where this goes now, despite the animation.

I thought Kyouchi was a for sure goner before I saw that he was listed as a main character alongside Tetsuo. Okay so he'll make it out of this situation alive, that much is certain. Aside from that, I wonder how he figured Tetsuo out, what gave it away I wonder :) ? Hmm another thing is Tetsuo should keep things on the same page as his wife, if things aren't over he shouldn't give her false hope since he doesn't have the power to protect them when he's not around. It's not like he's a mafia lord who can hire guards to keep his family safe, the least he should do is make sure she's aware so they can't catch her lackin.

this show is giving me so much anxiety. i just keep getting more and more anxious thinking about how tetsuo is supposed to get himself completely out of this mess.

hmm but i've become very interested in kyoichi after this episode. i'm sure there's a backstory that we've yet to see so there's no way he's gonna bleed out.

A bit better this time around, especially with Kyoichi knowing what's up with Tetsuo. The story picked up a little bit, and there is some intrigue here despite the numerous contrivances in the plot. I do like the dynamic between Kyoichi and Tetsuo, hopefully the former didn't die at the end there, though we all know not to trust offscreen gunshots. Animation looks quite ugly, we'll see if the story can carry the show a little at least.

Yeah hopefully Kyoichi isn't dead (at least not yet). I don't like off screen bullet shots either so its plausible that Tetsuo grabbed Kyoichi's gun (assuming he has one which he probably does) or that guy shot at Kyoichi, we'll see.

Speaking of Kyoichi, it looks like he didn't hear the part where Hibiki ratted Nobuto out with the heist from a while back when Tetsuo was speaking with her at the cabaret, perhaps Tetsuo muffled the phone on purpose so he has that as an opportunity to frame someone within the organization without Kyoichi's knowledge. I've been enjoying the suspense so I'm looking forward to the next episode.

This involvement with the yakuza organization is just getting worse and worse. And to top it off, Nobuto once betrayed the org before.
Tetsuo may have found a potential ally with Kyoichi. But Kyoichi is still sus.
The car sequence to infiltrate the other org is intense.

Also I hope Kyoichi doesn't die. Tetsuo just got juicy gossip from Nobuto's girflriend about his crime. He's lucky he's dead because if he were alive, he'd be in deeper shit.

The organization gave them an unreasonably high bill so they had no choice but to take a dangerous job to “pay off” said debt. The organization thinks Kyouichi is suspicious for working with Tetsuo who is also a suspect so I guess they wanted to punish him along with Tetsuo.

Tetsuo's far too into it, now. He's exploiting the individuality of each Yakuza member well, especially that of the deceased Nobuto who was already a scummy traitor before he got killed.

I had to stop watching a minute because Tetsuo's head condom is so distracting trying to figure out if it's an actual thing or a fuck up by the animators that meant to draw a head bandage but got the cues wrong from the rough drawers. I guess I could see it being a real thing like an update of a head bandage to give even pressure? I cant find any pics of such a devise though. ..oh well moving on...

Well damn didn't think Kyoichi was going to just straight up call out Tetsuo and actually seemingly approve that he killed Nobuto for some reason. Though Im not sure that makes sense.

Damn cliffhanger...

That's indeed a cliffhanger but rest assured that gunshot not going to pop Tetsuo's head off or something. Though I would feel bad if Kyouichi ended up dying this early, because his death will bring more trouble to Tetsuo and his family, where it goes without saying the people of organization will continue putting him in those dangerous tasks, who we saw bits and pieces of in those final minutes.

Would want Kyouichi to elaborate further on his take about Tetsuo being the killer.
