Well, it's up to Vivy to make things right. This whole drama between humans and AI is getting out of control.

Vivy's resolve is quite strong and seems not to follow with her motivations. Seems they're really setting up for the final two episodes that may change the world of AI forever.

There we go: the full converging of the 100-year timeline of the failed Singularity Project helmed by Osamu, and within a short amount of time, it's back to where we left off with Episode 1...just with more horrific scenes of the now-irreparable human-A.I. war.

All the repeated scenes of Episode 1 (and this is EXTREMELY important), just that with the revised history, now in FULL detail with Vivy and Matsumoto's interference that interconnects the Alpha (Episode 1) and the Omega (this episode) of this show's foundations. All that's left now, is for Vivy, Matsumoto and the Toak ally team to stop their rampage.

It's great that we finally have some closure on the Matsumoto connections between both A.I. and human (this should make everything clear to everyone), and the Toak people come to aid in their help...especially seeing Elizabeth again, the rejected A.I. of twin sister Estella from the Hotel Sunrise catastrophe, salvagely reworked and fine-tuned to be of assistance, and Yugo's granddaughter Yui. So Yugo was actually adamant on destroying A.I.s, no wonder when he always looked at Vivy in the eye, he has that look of hesitation in the 100-year history revision journey of just relentlessly eliminating A.I.s by hook or by crook to erase their existence as a threat.

With the current plans that are a set-up to the final 2 episodes, there's lots of back and forth going on, but one thing's clear: The Archive was a secret weapon waiting to be exploited, and the Tower is the root cause of their problem.

The end-game draws nearer with a repeat of the Hotel Sunrise incident of falling satellites...if Vivy could do it in the revised timeline, this revision thereafter should be the same.

Jeez shit’s getting really dark. The singularity project failed and the AI’s are to wipe out humanity. That opening sequence with vivy breaking the one girl’s neck and then another AI getting hit by a car was crazy. I’m glad to see Elizabeth back as well as Kukitani’s granddaughter. So the tower was behind it all along, that explains why it’s completion would mean the end of humanity. Can’t believe we only have two episodes left of vivy. Been by far the second best of the season and Tappei’s best original, looking forward to how it ends. I’m not optimistic Diva survives.

So Matsumoto created the script and sent the cube right before dying, and now they're all with Toak with Yugo's granddaughter and Elizabeth who's here again... it seems like that whole situation is because of the archive tower, and they want to eradicate humanity, that's really concerning and mysterious, the tower thing makes me think of Texhnolyze

And the disaster once more returns. After being asleep for 15 years the last one that they would want is to see it again but here we are. Being killed by a mobile ride sure was a bad way to go. So Osamu was the one that ended up creating what will become the project then. Its good this time we were able to save him from sacrificing himself. To think that Toak ended up being the only allies that can be counted upon now though. Its nice to see Elizabeth in this new timeline. Plus having a moderate in charge of Toak in this timeline is a nice change. Given that all AI's make use of the archive in order to sync data its the logical suspect for this event. Still im curious as to what brought along such a decision though. Can't wait to see what happens next ep.

Having a rouge AI as the final boss would be kinda anticlimatic tbh, though the team-up with Yugo's granddaughter (and Toak's organization) is interesting

I feel like it’s more the whole collective conscious of the AI’s rather than one single bad one. I agree though that I’d like to see a little more than just having an evil AI for the climax of the series.

Welp we are back to the carnage we saw at the begining of the anime. Vivy meeting up with Osamu and telling about her journey was quite emotional. Also wow Kakitani's granddaughter is the current Toak head and Elizabeth is also back. Also we finally know that it's the archive that's behind all of this and it wants to wipe out humanity? Why I wonder.

The entire world has been plunged into chaos. I'm excited to see how these last 2 episodes wrap up the story, this show has been great up to this point so I hope the climax is executed just as strongly. And the AIs all singing Vivy's song is still super creepy and unsettling.

This episode really started off creepy with all that blood and killing. Seeing the Singularity Project being failed, AI's all-around killing humans was really scary. Thanks to Vivy, Dr. Matsumoto survived in this timeline.

We also met Kakitani and her caretaker Elizabeth, from the Sunrise incident and whom we've already met before but in this timeline. I finally see from where did Matsumoto get his personality after all. The Archive has also been breached and it's not looking good since it wants to clear the entire human race from the face of the Earth and a satellite is about to crash in 12 hours.

So that finally explains why they didn't just destroy Toak in the past as they were the causes of every major event that causes the human-AI war. I feel satisfied now.

The twist is good and, while I do question how does Matsumoto can still exist in this timeline if the professor failed in sending him to the past this time, I can't wait to see the reason for Archive's decision.

From the next episode's preview and the message we saw from Diva's creator it will be connected to the concept of 'heart' and, obviously, her song. Hopefully we will get to hear her sing it!

I wonder what was the inspiration for the song in her original timeline, when there was no Singularity project as well as her reason for retiring. Or maybe the original timeline was lost the moment the past was changed? I hope we will dwell on this details more until the end.

Glad to see Elizabeth again, seems like her data was stored in the Toak Servers.
Matsumoto meets his master, really good for him. They're real alike. The action scenes with the amazing OST were fabulous. Enjoyed this a lot.
It's all up to Vivy to save the earth (mankind)
Probably by sacrifing herself or something else.

Ok so the ending part of the episode makes me think that Archive used Vivy's song as a stepping stone for AI domination as it was the first thing an AI did without being told to... so that makes sense that the AIs sing her song and why Diva/Vivy was "immune" to it even though she's was always in contat with Archive

All those rogue AI chanting that song is hella creepy. This episode was just as brutal as the scenes from the very first episode.

Elizabeth is alive?!?!?! Surprising to see, but she has no recollection on what happened on the Sunrise

I didn't expect the archive to be part of the problem or perhaps be the cause of it all.

That does make sense as she wrote the song while being connected with the Archive. I hadn't looked at it that way yet

In the preview for ep 12 it seems Vivy is saying "This is the only way" to Matsumoto. Feels like a farewell before some sort of sacrifice she's about to do. I'm worried and sad but deep down I'm mentally and emotionally prepared for what she's going to do. Fulfil your duty and destiny Vivy.

Really dark episode with everyone dying around them. This episode really cleared a lot of things up, but one question I have is how did Yugo survive all of those years? Like how did he become an AI?
Two more episodes til the end and Im excited to see how it all ends.

Make this an emoji or something!

Jokes aside, AI's aside, Humans aside, Toak aside, guess what, it was Archive this whole time! This is crazy!

Archive VS Humanity And A Bunch Of AIs

So here are some questions to which i want an answer.
1) Every AI not updated via Archive did not go berserk. So why Vivy was the only exception?
2) Who helped Kakitani from the past with the future weapons and why there was a sudden personality change in him? (a gentle side towards AIs)

I feel like I am missing some particular point :|

What a suprise here...

* Elizabeth's clone
* Grace's minion
* Alliance with Toak

Basically Singularity Project doesn't fail yet, at least they change something. It makes sense now. I wonder if Matsumoto remember when Vivy got an error after Grace-arc.

I guess it depends how you view the existence of parallel universes. If you see them all as mutually coexisting at once and Matsumoto as a temporary breach from one to the other, then yes, that doesn't affect anything.

On the other hand, if you view them as branches of infinite possibilities that cease to exist once a choice is made, because only the chosen one becomes reality, then without ensuring his existence, in other words making the doctor press the start button, his existence becomes a paradox.

Although this episode definitely does not compare to the last episode, it was still a great episode.

No way Beth is still alive after all this time, I thought she was for sure gone, but I guess she's still here. I'm very excited to see how ViVy plans to deal with all the Human vs AI drama, and if she can finally settle this 100 year development.

That's not how the infinite branches theory works. In an infinitely branching timeline all variations continuously exist in parallel. One doesn't cease existing just cause a different choice was made.
