| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It's the Agrippa Family! Never thought I was glad to see them, even if it was for a moment. Asta got pushed down pretty hard this episode, even stepped on...but I'm not surprised. The power of demons is no joke. This episode was rough for ordinary mages. Even Asta showed fear and rage. |

| The fights, and hereby the greatness of the Spade Arc, just begun (ﾉ´ヮ`)ﾉ*: ･ﾟ Prepare yourselves anime-onlys! Dante is just fucking cool... More importantly, BC announced that it will go on a break for episode 170! Turns out the turned out true...We will get the final episode and the announcement – if it just goes on a break, or becomes seasonal or a movie – on 3/30/21 Judging by the current fast pace they are probably trying to adapt up to chapter 260, which will give us a 2.5ch/episode pace – stonks^^ The next 8 episodes will be fucking great and it will end at a perfect point ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Edit: Ifrad said: Apparently, this man did his research – unlike me hehe...but this just makes this better because it will include No, Episode 165 is adapting upto chapter 253/254, So they Definitely are ending with 270 or 273 Actually, it would be the best point to go on a break and build hype and on top of that this will mean a nearly 4 ch/episode pace – even more stonks :o  |

| I was surprised when I heard the news, I didn’t expect Black Clover to end. I hope Gauche won’t die. Asta’s fight looked fine overall but there were some scenes with sloppy animation. Good episode. |

| Goodbye Black Clover, in 8 episodes. As if William Vangeance is the only arcane mage of the Dark Triad's target, Yami is another one as well. Pretty funny that with Gordon's family, the setting is EXACTLY like The Addams Family, just being more eccentric for lols. Dante personally coming to the Black Bulls' hideout, Asta facing him head on with the other Black Bulls, what a spectacle. At max, Dante punishing them with 60% of the Demon's power is already a feat on its own, and bearing all that with Gauche's sacrifice, this is but the start of the revolt. Get ready for the increase of animation budgets as we head towards Episode 170. |

| I kinda hope they turn it into a seasonal or something. Let's them better prepare for the episodes which will definitely help better the overall quality of the show, less filler as well. I was hoping they were gonna turn it seasonal the last time this came up but better late than never I suppose. If It happens at least. |

| They did Dante's swagger justice. He also got some nice taste, Vanessa is one of the best girls. Animation was on point, berserk Asta looked amazing. I see why previous episode looked average. |

| It's hard to know it will end the 30th march (probably a hyatus because the anime is to close to the manga and will be a seasonnial anime who could be very interesting in quality) We will be in the middle of this super arc who is very interesting |

Thats only 8 away. Most definitely enough to finish a show, but there seems to be so much story. WTF!!!! Well until it happens, I will continue to love BC for the wild ride it is and the awesome story and visuals it has brought!! |

| Well it isn't surprising that the anime will be ending soon, they're going to get close to the manga again and I doubt they'd wanna do another extended batch of filler. Time to enjoy this final stretch toward the end, and boy what a way to kick it off with Dante showing up and kicking ass. He's cool af, wiping the floor with everyone while barely breaking a sweat. I'm hyped to see him go against Yami, that's something I've been wanting to see animated for a while now. |

I was literally thinking the same thing. Ah degeneracy . . . we love it. New contender for best girl? 2 words for this episode though: Holy shit. Hurry up and show up already Yami! | Pretty dope episode! So Dante actually showed up at the Black Bulls HQ, too bad for him that Yami wasn't there. Asta tried his best, but damn... Gauche is fighting for his life and Asta losing control cause of it. So next week we're finally getting the Grey development I have been waiting so long for? |

| Iight was pretty deece at the end not gonna lie. But holy fucking shit; it's confirmed to be finished on ep 170? Almost can't believe it. Guess they are gonna actually wait for the manga. I'll be much happier if it comes back seasonal with much higher production value. Let's hope it goes out with a bang these last few eps. |
| Oooh that was a pretty good and crazy episode. I love that they didn't skip much from the manga. The animation was so cool too. The anime finishing on ep 170... watching Black Clover as an anime has been quite fun and a long ride^^ |

| This episode generated many emotions in me, from anxiety, excitement to sadness about what happened with Gauche, but without a doubt Black Clover is at its peak, it makes me sad that the series does not continue long, but a good pause It comes in handy to avoid absurd fillers as happened with Bleach or Naruto. About the March 30th announcement, I have the theory that a movie or an OVA could be coming. Black Clover is On fire 📛📛📛📛 |
