Which studio would you trust the most at adapting your favourite manga

Just as the title suggests, thought it would be fun to see the answers since different studios handle different genres and styles well, some are really good at dynamic shots (ufotable) others are great when it comes to believable character animation (kyoani) and some just straight up make hype fight sequences (bones with MHA and mob) and others are just good at more general stuff like a1 pictures

Edit: yeah I know that it's mostly the staff and the director that make the show what it is but the studio itself has a pretty big role in it nonetheless, from how they manage their budget to a lot of the staff not being freelancers (sometimes barely any of them are) to what they choose to adapt (like how bones adapt action while doga kobo adapts now) and even the art and animation style (like how you could recognize a trigger show from a mile away)

Ufotable, all of their adaptations look 10/10 animation wise. They often choose shit stuff to adapt like God Eater. But when they adapt a decent manga, oh boy is it good! Even a medicore manga like Demon Slayer turned into this smash hit when the adapted it. Definitely trusting them to adapt anything.

I'm happy with the ones that already have their adoptations. For the manga I like that still doesn't have an adaptation - I pretty sure that Madhouse would do a great job with 20th Century Boys.

Ufotable has that cinematic feel even when the anime they're producing is a weekly seasonal show.
Bones has great scheduling and just as if not more amazing animations than Ufo has done, one of them being MP100.

ufotable as long as they are given enough time or good production schedule because they have the talent already like they usually do most thing in-house and not outsource their animation unlike most studios (except KyoAni that do everything in-house)

I'd really like if White Fox would be able to adapt HakoMari. I know I'm talking about a light novel, but then again I don't care. Still, White Fox sometimes feel underrated when they were the ones to adapt Steins;Gate

I want an Oyasumi Punpun adaption by Trigger, they're the only ones who can make it as trippy as the manga except Gainax.
But they already passed their days of glory imo so I don't count them.

Production I.G. if it's something that needs better animation.
Madhouse if it's something that needs more soul.
Gonzo for the suspense. Will it be good? Will it be a trainwreck?

I'd love to see an Kyoani adaptation of Act-Age.
It'd be difficult to animate the acting scenes in a way that'd give it the same feel as the manga but if anyone could pull it off I'd go for them.

Speaking of Honey & Clover, I really wanted to like this series, but the adaptation left a bitter taste in my mouth that I still wish there's a remake, but this time it's gotta be Shaft after I've seen their take on 3-gatsu no Lion which I enjoyed.

The studio also adapted Non Non Biyori which I think captured its atmosphere very well. If someday there was a chance to do an anime adaptation of Yotsuba, I won't have objections if it's them.

Madhouse probably, I liked most of their stuff, and even if I didn't like the story in one of their adaptations (cough, Afterlost), I still appreciate their animation and sound quality.

I think only Wit Studio or Madhouse could do justice to Berserk manga.Wit has already done an amazing job with Vinland.Madhouse nowadays does a lot of CGI so I'm concerned about it.

I only and I mean only trust J.C. STAFF to animate Hayate no Gotoku
Just look how amazing season 2 is

But yeah side note just glad Manglobe went bankrupt since they wasted J.C's hard work on fixing the series after SynergySP made season 1 like 50% filler

This day and age?
Madhouse went bankrupt. No Gun's Life was awful in the animation department.
Shaft's employees left, they don't have half the manpower they need.
Ufotable is my only choice to adapt Chainsaw Man it seems, even if I wouldn't go to them.
old-old Madhouse or Studio 4°C would fit the most I think.

I agree with that, a lot of people don't realise how low madhouse's quality gone in terms of animation simply because so many of their best creators left to work in other studios. Most of their best recent shows were made by freelancers

You just cant compare the average at most animation in overlord to something like redline or HxH

Although I'm sure Bones, Ufotable, Production I.G, Wit and White Fox would also be good options, I'd probably trust Madhouse the most the adapt Alice in Borderland. I'm not sure that a ton of CGI would be needed aside from maybe settings and action scenes so thankfully that wouldn't be as much of an issue (as long as they actually put time into it to make sure it's well-paced and directed, which was honestly a little disappointing with the OVA).

I feel like kyoani (rip to them btw I hope they'll recover as fast as they can to continue their amazing works) were meant to do slice of life shows, their biggest strength is probably character animation and aesthetic, I'd leave the action to ufotable

My fav manga that I want to get adapted is about 50/50 sports manga and fluffy romance manga so i think Bones would prob be a good choice since they have experience animating some shows with really good action scenes but also a more "cutesy" soft faced art style like MHA and FMA, and i think they'd be able to find the perfect balance of details without making it look cheap like some other studios prob would
or if not them then i think Mappa could do similar

For Blame! adaptation I don't think I would trust anyone. I just don't think the manga as a whole can be adapted to anime successfully. Maybe I am wrong, dunno.

For Act-Age I would say Production I.G. When it comes to character acting and realistic motion they are almost unmatched. Their school of animation has been honed since Patlabor and Ghost in the Shell. They employ many animators that are among the best in the industry when it comes to that, Tetsuya Nishio and Kazuchika Kise being prime examples. Not like other studios wouldn't be able to do it given the staff but Prodction I.G (and KyoAni) you can be sure will nail that aspect without fail as that is their identity since their inception almost.

For Historie idk. Any studio that is able to handle an ambitious project and make it remain consistent which leaves us to bigger studios with more experienced staff members able to lead and oversee the project, which leaves us to the likes of Bones, Production I.G, Sunrise...

For Totsukuni no Shoujo IG/Wit/Signal.MD. The manga is published by Mag Garden, a publisher who is subsidiary of I.G Port. So best would be to leave it in the hands of a related studio because the project would be extremely important for them so they would have to give it their all in order for it not to fail.

That, or a whole Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou series animated by either PA Works or Doga Kobo. And Junichi Sato directing would be icing on the cake.

As for 20th Century Boys I say David Pro or Bones because they have good management and good resources, for ex Jojo, Sakurada, HeroAca, MP100
And Wit for Berserk because Vinland Saga was a treat
