| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Saw it online today. It starts off with Alexis talking to Maho which is a bit awkward considering what happened between them in the main series. However, this OVA is more of a standalone so that's different. Looks like a good amount of characters returned including Kagari. Tons of comedic moments in this Valentine special. A party to celebrate Valentine! Rip microwave I thought that Ruko in a cat maid outfit is god damn priceless LOL. Speaking of maids, a lot of them appeared too. There's also some extra scenes at the end after the credit song. Neat to hear the opening theme song for this show again for sure. Pretty amusing OVA overall imo. |

| It was okay, it had their funny moments but it was mostly fanservice like Rukako in cat maid. It made me laugh but I this episode can be easily skipped unless you want to chill a bit with this dramatic series. |

| Fun episode! Kurisu’s quote, “To be a Scientist is to be a true Romantic”, xD she sure is proud of herself making such quotes! Lots of other hilarious moments throughout, I certainly didn’t expect such an episode but it was nice to see all the girls gather up and make Valentines Chocolate together. Lol, Daru and Okabe conversation there was cho-very hilarious! Daru’s jealousy when speaking of Mayushii and Kagari and then Suzuha’s ‘bruh’ expression was spot on and hilarious! Professor Leskinen at the beginning there, he must be a Japanophile for sure. Speaking of Suzuha, lol, her delusions at the start were ridiculous! Poor Faris though, lol. Final segment with Maho-tan there was a little saddening, I must say. I’d loved to see a shot of Okabe receiving the Chocolates but too bad they didn’t show even a single shot of him, at least we got shots of pretty much every other character. Honestly, I thought the episode would be more focused on the plot or at least of Christmas since it’s almost that time of the year but this wasn’t half-bad. Just the timing of it is off, wouldn’t it have been more appropriate to release this Special sometime in the second week of February? But well, it’s always nice to see something from this superb franchise! |

| It is clear that the story not really related to the main story. It is about friendship afterall, fun enough also. The last scene is the most exciteness and also sadness to me, because of the deep regret of Maho to Kurisu because of her sudden death, that she too slow to understand the meaning of giving things in order to celebrate the Valentine's day. By the way, I wonder if there is any sequel from the main story that similar to the first Steins Gate like, Steins Gate 0 The Movie, instead of this. |

Only the final scene that is very emotional is saved. Where is the main plot? And the characters that we wanted together, what happens. Disappointed to have waited so long, to receive this. | Was a bit excited for the special but it turned out to be more of nya-nya nya-nya-nya followed by a good moment at the end. |
| I really liked the new season so thought might as well watch the OVA. But that was rather dissapointing. The comedy felt very stale, really wasn't feeling any of the jokes and the whole thing felt very forced with the Valentine's theme ... 5/10 and left bad aftertaste for a really good season. |

| Man the Memories of this epic series. I had a really good laugh when Suzuah was thinking about kagari's Valentine. The part when Maho left the Chocolate for Kurisu broke my heart :( |
