It came out before SG0, so when SG0 came out, it nullified a lot of LBP (except for the stories that follow the endings for the diff girls of course). The writer (i believe) for SG himself said that after SG, he felt the SG world was fully complete, so he let other people work on LBP. |

I guess you have forgotten that there's a gamma worldline as well, where okabe is Evil, so we can hope for a third season. alpha worldline - Steins;Gate beta worldline - Steins;Gate 0 gamma worldline - ? Plus we still dont know how Okabe got Reading Steiner ability. |

Regarding the OVA, I have mixed feelings. I haven't heard the drama CD, but I hope we get to see more of Kurisu and Okabe if this is really goodbye. In the preview, we see Kurisu and Maho and well, it would be really unfair to get a Valentine's episode without Okakuri. My worries also land on the animation/direction since it was really bad on Zero. They've had a lot of time since the anime ended, but I don't know about their budget/production settings this time around. Let's hope they surprise us! That Kurisu and Maho scene is just a flashback. In the PV, there is Kagari, Suzuha, and Amadeus too. So it's not Steins Gate worldline, its Beta, which means Kurisu is dead :( So no Okakuri at all in this OVA :( |
