Anime series you want to work on or finish? :> I've been sticking to my case closed goal of 3 or more episodes a day, even watching extra if I miss a day due to busy. Thought he amount of 1 hour and 2 hour specials is making it a bit tough heh.

Also got a insane goal of around 800 episodes of spring sequel anime by around april/may.

Quite a few by the end of the year:

-Complete all entries top 50 rated
-500 TV series watched
-Complete 3 TV length (at least 200 total minutes) shows for each letter A-Z + #, These are the ones remaining: 0-9 (1 more) | Q (2 more) | W (1 more) | X (2 more)
-Starting 2000:
2000 & 2001 : Watch at least one TV series per season
2002: Watch 2 of TV, movie, multiple OVA episode entry per season
2003: Watch 3 of " "
Repeat the same pattern until end of 2010
From 2011 through 2014: watch 10 of TV, movie, multiple OVA episode entry per season, but with a twist
2011: other than the above requirement, the entire year must have a cumulative total of 24 total TV series watched
2012: 28 TV series watched total
2013: 32 TV series watched total
2014: 36 TV series watched total
From 2015 to forever: restricted to TV series of watching 10 per season. Movies and multiple OVAs do not count.

Maybe considering these goals too depending on my mood:
Watch all of top 25 rated movies
Watch all of top 75 rated TV shows
Watch 90% of the top 200 popular shows. 95% of the top 250.
5 or 10% of each MAL's studio totals that released more than 100 entries.

Unlikely:
MALGraph achievements to have level 3 on all but music and mahou shoujo (couldn't really care about this anyways)

What if the people on the anime isn't tsundere not until later in the anime when it will be hard for you to stop halfways :3

i have never seen a character who is nice first and then turn to a tsundere
it's always the opposite

if it happens ... if the anime is romance i'll drop immediately
other than that i'll keep watching :)

I've made a list of 30 top priority anime to watch this year, but I'm already watching everything except things from that list so I'll probably give it up. Other than that, I'm doing the 2018 AWC (already 1/5 completed, way faster than I expected).

Well, mostly just finishing up stuff in my Currently Watching list.

I restarted Four Rhythm because I put it down for a while and want to get back into it. Kinda wanna watch it while I exercise, since it is a sports series.

I might just finish up PSO2A within a week or so. Some of my friends think I'm crazy to watch it lol.

Aside from that there's Yosuga no Sora, which I tabled after the first arc, but I'll get back into it at some point. Also Solty Rei, which seems nice though it got a bit less fun early on due to feeling like it got derailed by Rose and her antics.

And then there's Black Bullet and Kannazuki no Miko, which I started more recently. Or I could finish these first. Who knows. Currently in more of a Black Bullet mood.

Also would like to watch enough You're Under Arrest to be able to start the third season. After all, the main reason I'm bothering to watch it is because the third season's OP is really awesome.

At some point I'll get to watching Chain Chronicle and probably a handful of other fantasy-based stories. I like those.

Any long term goals for this year?

I want to either start, complete, and/or continue watching all the anime shows that are in my "On Hold", "Dropped", and "Planned to Watch" sections.

And if not I can't, oh well - at least I would have tried, right? ^^;;

To read more manga. Last year I completed over 200 anime which makes up the majority of my list, so this year I'm going to finish the majority of my plan to read list.

Also, I wouldn't say this is a goal but I'm trying to focus more on anime from the 70s and 80s. I can easily finish all of the pre-90s anime on my plan to watch list so after that I'll slowly work my way up and move on to the 90s, then 00s.

I've signed up for the highest tiers of the anime & manga challenges as well but I honestly don't care about them that much. Instead of picking stuff to complete based on the challenges, I'll just watch and read stuff as I normally do, then whenever I complete something I'll see if it fits anywhere on the challenge list. Near the end of the year I'll work on the challenges that I have to go out of my way to complete, like finish an on-hold or dropped anime.

He probably doesn't intend to actually finish all of them; he probably wants a pool of anime to choose from when he feels like watching something. Kinda like a 2nd PTW list, but with stuff he's tried before. I would never do something like that, but some people do. What's more impressive is his dropped list though imo.

My goal for 2018 is to:
1) complete 500 anime by the end of the year. I delayed this goal long enough. After I'll finish 500 anime I'll breathe a sigh of relief.
2) to complete my 2018 Anime Watching Challenge.
3) to finish at least some of the MANY anime I have on-hold (yeah, good luck with that)
4) obtain the Ghibli achievement on MALgraph by watching 15+ of their works (I'm so close).
5) to read the light novel for Toaru Majutsu no Index and its sequel Shinyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index.

Trouble I've found with manga is there is alot of ongoing, and longer series. I've been working on manga a bit myself as I feel I'm behind on it compared to anime, and getting the completed list without reading a bunch of oneshots is a bit tough.
