| Where did Bon Clay get purple pants? I thought that he had Hannyabal's green pants? and they're ripped too so I doubt the queers gave it to him. |

Probably turned purple from all the blood. Speaking of blood, where did all of Luffy's go in the scene following it all come out the door. There should be a river of it, but it magically disappeared. That was a fun ending. lol Luffy's appetite is a vortex. |

| Not a bad episode. I'm very glad they moved through his recovery fairly quickly. It was looking like they'd drag it out a little as they build up some suspense for what is to come. Looking forward to seeing what's next. |

| I thought all the flopping around by bon clay was a bit over dramatic you know what would have been cool if bon clay said something like "I'm going to use my power to help him as much as I can" then he goes into luffy's chamber and stands next to him. Then he starts changing his body into luffy's crewmates having them say things like "you have to survive so you can save your brother and return to us" would have made episode epiccc. |

Sure, the manga has gone on breaks a lot recently because of the movie that aired a few months ago, but I don't see the need for fillers. In fact, I just checked and this episode wasn't even a full chapter. It was midway of the chapter and ended at the very beginning of the next chapter with everyone feeding Luffy. |
| A great recovery for Luffy. Guy is just amazing with recovering well ahead of plan especially when his chances were so low. Perfect timing since they have to hurry after Ace. |

| Luffy's recovery was just to awesome for words. It made my spine tingle along with the great music :D Now the real EPICNESS of Impel Down will now commence. Damn, I can't wait even though I know what's going to happen >.< |

| I have to agree with those that feel this chapter was animated well. The past few chapters have been done poorly and things like blood was often cut out (blood that had meaning, for example to show people that he fought the wolves and was covered in blood after it). I only notice few minor things in this chapter but overall it was great here is the chapter that this episode was based on: http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/538/01/ additonally the start of the next one is also in this episode (539) but the one above is completely spoiler free for those that have seen the episode. I just posted it if people want to see the difference. |
