| Too much attention is given to rape perpetrators. We should be focusing on providing services to the victim. Rape is a difficult crime to prove either way. It's simply not realistic to nab every rapist, or prove that an accusation is false. The only thing separating rape from sex, is a state of mind. If you were legitimately raped but have no way to prove it, help should still be given to you. And you should be encouraged to take action in order to prevent yourself from coming into contact with your rapist ever again - restraining orders and the like. Legit or not, the focus should be on what to do for the victim, not to clap our hands at the prospect of a public lynching. People are just filled with too much hate. Anyway, it sure is great being bi. I don't have to deal with this shit~ |
