| So I just reread this last night, and even though I was crying buckets through the ending the first time, for some reason despite not really remembering the details of the story I was not nearly as moved the second time. Didn't even really feel anything which was surprising considering my response on the first reading. |

| This is not the type of manga that provokes to unleash your emotions, instead it provokes you into thinking about the way world goes.. It is too short to even make a slight emotion pass by for me, as I rarely even express emotions when reading manga or watching anime.. not even talking about a strong emotion like crying - I never had that since childhood even despite the tough youth.. Out of everything I have read/watched - around 5-6 made me actually smile or laugh and 2-3 made me sad/angered. But for such short series it sure is mature and thought-provokng.. This is much harder to achieve than making an emotional roller coaster.. |

| I loved it. the story is very realistic, deep, makes up think about the world and all the problems. Specially in the last chapter when she started playing piano, and the moment when Yuu was walking the stairs towards that light, it was the moment. T^T I would cry over and over again |

| No, it was sad though. Also, was i the only one that thought this manga is massively overrated ? It's in 3rd spot on MAL... The story was decent and the characters were good, grey characters are always better than black or white ones. Well Juri's mother was a REALLY bad person. But the art was decent at best and nothing in this manga was exceptional. So while it was pretty good, i don't think it deserves anywhere near it's place, i'd say it's a 7 or 8 out of 10. It was a very good slice of life drama but that's as far as it goes. |

| It tells a sad cohesive story but it lacked the characters to truly bring it to life. The character felt too black and white even with their tingles of grey. Yuu had the potential to be interesting but in the end it felt to me that his character had only superficial flaws. The inclusion of the rape, the consequences it entailed on the characters and the settlement of the aforementioned consequences left much to be desired. I wanted to love this manga, it had all this excellent hallmarks but in the end it really didn't evoke any emotion beside slight annoyance |

| I didn't cry, I loved the ending. Seeing Sylvia build up the courage to overcome her trauma for someone else was really moving though. The only thing this manga did wrong was that it's short. I absolutely loved the story it was so different from your standard romance and slice of life it was just like a breath of fresh air. |
