Is drinking cider feminine?

I was talking with some friends and I mentioned that I like the taste of cider (particularly Apple Strongbow). We ended up getting into a heated discussion about whether it's a woman's drink or not, what's everyone's opinion on this? Of course I know that people should drink what they want, and that it is stupid to label a drink feminine or masculine, but is drinking cider considered feminine?

Who cares?

If it's good, drink it.
Just need to find out how to quote this every time so I can dodge the stupid 30-character limit.

If you find yourself drinking cider you might as well go buy yourself a tampon, and catch up on the latest Sex in the City Movie.

That's what we do. We once argued for a while about whether you butter the toast before putting peanut butter on it or not. Pretty sure we take the cake for stupidest arguments in history, it's on some Seinfeld-level shit.

On Seinfeld a relationship is broken up because of grammar, not sure if we're quite reaching that level yet but close.

I'm sure if you really try, you can do it. I believe in you.

onT: I'd say no, but I don't know much about drinks other than tea and lemonade.

A drink that is considered feminine, e.g. Cruisers. Believe me, I think it's just as stupid as you do. Though it's a pretty common way of thinking among people my age unfortunately (at least where I live). Glad to see that not everyone is like this.

Stereotypes on drink choice? It's more likely than you think.

But I like non alcholic cider and drink it without a care, so no. I wasn't even aware there was a conception like that for hard cider.

Well I know that some people who do not usually like alcohol drink cider, so you wind up with teenage girls drinking it. I dont find it feminine. I like cider.

Strongbow feminine?! Aside from it tasting like canned piss and the entire concept of feminine and masculine drinks being ridiculous, if you had to say then it's definitely a masculine drink.

More a teens drink actually now I think about it but what do I care, I'm partial to a good Sauvignon Blanc.

No.

Here in Bretagne and Normandie everyone drinks cider because tradition.

Plus I don't know what feminine drink is. Never managed to wrap my head around that notion.

Judging people by what they drink is about as manly as Susan gossiping to Carol about the shoes Tina is wearing.

Ever snorted crystallized cider? It's basically instant cider in a pouch.

Ask them to try it and then tell them to call you feminine.
