| Surely this isn't the end of Lee.. It can't be. Yeah, the battle was pretty fierce and merciless. In the end Lee showed that he truly can be a top shinobi. But who can stop Gaara, because he has some issues going on inside his head. |

| rock lee nooo!! damn, even after all that he lost...but rock lee is still a winner in my book! that battle was incredible, it's just too bad he had to face gaara. judging from that display of power it looks like he would have definitely crushed anybody else O_o |

| This episode was depressing..I really hope this isn't the end of Lee's storyline. I loved his back story the most because he's so different from the other characters and appears to be just an average boy who had to work extremely hard to get to where he is. And even then.. It still wasn't enough to defeat his opponent. I swore he was going to beat Gaara. |

| I feel really bad for Lee, and I hope he can still fight at some point in the future. But... I was still happy that Gaara won. There is just something about him.. I do feel like we're gonna see big things from him. And I wonder what the one guy meant by saying that the worst didn't happen after all. It can't be only about Gaara losing. I'm feeling like he'll snap totally at some point and awaken his 'inner demon'. I can't wait to see that. :D I'm happy that these battles are almost over. Even though I liked them it is nice to move on, finally. |

| That was insane, really epic fight but what a sad ending! I really do hope Lee will be able to fight again, at least to see him face his goals or Naruto at one point! Still one hell of a fight, I never thought Lee was this strong and well it sure had an epic conclusion. Let's see what the next episode and fight will have to offer. |

| This was probably my Favorite Episode, as Sad as it is, reading other peoples replies gives me hope to see lee again! god that was amazing fight probably one of the best fights ive seen. cant wait to see what happens next! |
| this was the best battle from this whole arc. lee is an amazing character, at least in the beginning he is. his relationship with gai is so endearing too. one of the reasons naruto keeps being an anime so dear to me even after so many time. |

| lee amazing and all but, even if he were to win to risk his life so much for not even main exam was kinda foolish, and in the end he didn't even won. this match though makes you want gaara to lose even more. |
| Next fight is between the characters who don't matter at all. I wish the author ended the tournament with Rock Lee and Gaara. Would've been so climatic. |
