 Help us brainstorm the best and funniest yearbook categories for 2021. Then vote for the anime/song/character who most fits that category! We want to create a MyAnimeList Anime Yearbook: something we can look back on in future years to remind us what the 2021 year of anime was like. Rather than create more awards or ranking charts that no one really needs, we want to do something fun and a bit tongue-in-cheek. And since this will be MAL's Anime Yearbook, we want MAL members to decide which categories and anime will be included. (Make Event Jikkyou Play - Battle Game in 5 Seconds ED) Character you would want to be a parent of. (Iruma Suzuki - Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun 2nd Season Main Character) I actually put forward an idea of a MAL yearbook shortly after I joined as a mod around a year and a half ago. It wasn't quite like this, but this is still a very neat feature. Hopefully down the road the thing I suggested might become a reality. |

| Anime: that made you cry like a baby (Sorry got no examples [for now]) that made you realize something you never thought of (One punch man) that is so smooth and sweet it looks like a fairytale (Darling in the FranXX) OP/ED: that is 100% miss shot (Kenpuu Denki Berserk [1998]) that is the only good thing in the whole anime (Deadman Wonderland) Character: that is constantly attracting problems (Mieruko-chan - Hana, Konosuba - Aqua) that is an incarnate of laziness (Scarlett Nexus - Arashi, BNHA - Aizawa) that is an absolute annoyance but this anime wouldn't be the same without them (Evangelion - Shinji (lol), Death note - Misa) Titles in the parentheses are examples only coz I haven't watched much of 2021 animes. |

Character that would fit in any other anime (or most of them): Mirai Kakehashi (Platinum end) Characters that I would like to see as a female (created as a female): Shinichi Kudou (Detective Conan), Midoriya Izuku ( Boku no hero) Anime that would fit in the real world in 2021: Shuumatsu no Harem (the Covid was The Man-Killer Virus) Anime that doesn't need a fight or superpowers to be interesting: Blue Period. OP/ED for jogging at 5am: 『TWISTED HEARTS』(yuukoku no moriarty 2nd season op), 『OMEGA』yuukoku no moriarty 2nd season ed) I like what pichipichiHiro suggested: (anime) you watched for fun but accidentally learned something. |
