DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting episode, we got Takumi competing, one of the more underrated characters imo. Felt like a lot of mind games going on as well with Subaru being the opponent. Oh God that laugh. Shame Takumi lost and Subaru got his 100th win. I give him effort for trying though. |

| Wow, a fight against copy-cat? And he just copying it perfectly for the ingredients parts. No wonder he gets that creepy Title. Totally feels like fighting against your own shadow. That rap-player reaction from the judge feels perfectly fit after that seemingly-hard dessert making process. |

| It was pretty obvious that Takumi will lose, and Subaru will match against Soma. Great episode tho, and I'm pretty hyped about the Ryo vs Akira match. And 100% that the final will be about the inevitable Soma vs Akira rivalry. |
| Great episode again, Poor Takumi, I was rooting for him all the way. :( That rap was funny xD That Subaru guy is one cunning guy, His methods might be disgusting but the guy's got the skill to back it up. Interesting that Subaru already showed up at Souma's place to try and intimidate him, Though i doubt Souma will fall that easily for all his provocation to come. Pretty high stakes for the next Shokugeki, Souma betting his entire cooking career on it. Go Souma! Show the guy what cooking is all about! |

| Kinda boring season so far, rinse repeat cooking battles. Manga readers, do arcs like last season's end up coming back or is it all just battles from now on? If it's going to be nothing but battles I think I'll stop watching this after the current season. |

We left season 1 off with the prelims of an important contest and without a cut we went right into the next rounds. Of course it would be continuous battles that repeat until there is a winner. |
| I don't agree with this writing here. 1. Takumi losing and being brushed off. 2. Souma putting his career on the line ---> makes it even more obvious that he will win 3. Takumi being put under Souma despite the build-up for a match between them that went to the trash. |

| Wow, Subaru's victory was expected, but this guy really takes stalking and mind games to another level. He's definitely deserving of the "King of Stalkers" title. Idk how anyone could keep their cool in a match against him (except Souma of course). Souma vs. Subaru was inevitable, but I personally feel like there won't be much suspense about who will win because we all know who's going to win. Especially with Souma putting something as big as his career on the line, there's no way he'll lose, the laws of shounen MC won't allow it. That rap by that one judge though, that was priceless. I was laughing my ass off during that part. |

| Well this is so INTENSE AS HELL, that stupid stalker bastard chef stealing away their prides and tools, so sad for Aldini :(( He really deserves it but that stalker chef, his perfection is just a piece of shit. That damn bastard doesn't deserve at all, he's so pathetic and Soma was right, oh no Soma! He's gonna take his risky Shokugeki with the stalker chef, if Soma loses, then..... quiting his goal? (other words. a chef). Well this could be his fate... erghhhhh I wanna see more episodes -.- |
| That rap was so enjoyable, so better than those "Lil artist" raps. Takumi sure suffered a crushing defeat. Just when he thought he got the upper hand, Subaru pulls his trump card and ultimately demolishes Takumi mentally. I do give Takumi credit for coming up with a more refined dish. Under so much pressure he managed to tweak his dish that would have won had Subaru not pulled his secret ingredient. And we get Soma vs Subaru next. I wonder how Soma will handle the mind games. |

| I like the pacing here compared to last week's ep. It's good as, if not better, the Ryo vs. Megumi battle in terms of pacing and art. That rap scene threw me for a loop. I was equal parts "O_o" and "XD" Since the quarterfinals are done, the semifinals will start next week! Meaning... MY FEMALE JUDGES!!! I can't wait for my dose of Hinako(x Megumi) and Fuyumi soon <3 <3 <3 |

| This copy paste joke has to be stopped,our cooking demon lord is ready for him and the 3 stars of this season do not include him,I can't wait for that ugly animal to be crushed and made to suffer.Aside from that, it was a hard episode to watch,how did he pass the exams?He is just a copy paste C- rating chef.I feel sorry for Aldini but I was glad to see sweets as the main theme. |

| Another great episode, lots of twists and turns in the match, probably one of my favorite cooking matches in the series(certainly my favorite Shokugeki) I wonder what trick Souma's going to show off next week. |

| It was a well rounded episode and given they wanted to end on that cliffhanger they had to cut some stuff, while the important parts were all there I'm a bit disappointed as a Subaru fan. What they cut from the manga for those who are interested: - a few panels showing Subaru spying with binoculars - some cheering here and there from Takumis fanclub - creepy Subaru sitting in his room, walls and ceiling full of pictures of Takumi like a true stalker - at the end of the match the girls of Takumis fanclub insult Subaru (dreadlock gorilla etc) and he just responded with "If only I had some more time I could have investigated all of you girls thoroughly, too <3" (wish they would've kept that scene, was too funny) - some audience member talk about that it was a very "bizarre" match All in all they adapted ch. 76-80. |

| The pacing in this episode was probably the best so far. There was plenty of time to show the food process as well as the judging and foodgasms. I really liked this match, seeing Takumi try so hard only to lose was very sad. And this episode really showed that Subaru is great at what he does. I'm super excited to see Souma face off against him next week! |

| I think it would have been even better if Souma had just blown him off completely telling him he was an unoriginal nobody and he didn't have the need to Shokugeki with someone meaningless like him. That would have made Subaru flip completely. |

Can't you just do something worthy with your life instead of stalking and copying you piece of crap I'm rooting with all my soul for Souma,I want that dude to be humiliated in the worst way possible. |
