| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- For some reason, I'm really liking the OST of this show. Mm, some game dynamics explored. Player Killer huh? I've heard of those before. I used to play an MMORPG game before too and pkers aren't rare. The episode was alright I guess, felt a little fast though. Those gryphons looks pretty cool. Time to ride~ |

| I knew that had to put PK in at some point or they will be no antagonists. Despite feeling that the first episode was inferior to SAO, the incorporation of MMORPG elements into the second episode raised my interest by notches as I was once a Maple Story player. I think Log Horizon's path is more MMORPG focused, which is good as one thing about SAO I didn't like was how MMORPG elements were only seen a few times before becoming plot-driven. This is how a show with the MMORPG setting should be done. (But I still liked SAO...) |

| Even thought they can't die and keep re spawning all the time, they don't know yet why they all got trapped in the game world. Shiro strategist were awesome and Akatsuki is cute like always. The Gryphons were kind of awesome too. |

| Enjoyed this episode much more than the first. The main character is a pretty likable guy. |
| This is getting interesting, I like the fact that they're PKs in the game, now we can have some real antagonists appear in the game. And Shiroe's monologues really do help tell more about the world of Elder Tale, and that really is nice addition. It really feels like an MMO, and I hope they keep doing this, those Gryphons were an awesome addition as well. |

| Wow!! That was really great :D Definitely Top5 of the season ^^ Loved the first half with them kicking ass. Totally had those PKs piss their pants XD Awesome team work :D Loving the setting of the world...Instead of going with fearing death (SAO), here they go with being bored since they have no goal in life thus, different ways to spend time are brought about...which makes this interesting. Shiro explaining everything was nice. Loving his monologue so much :D BA character for sure ^^ Especially the part he wanted to say"We'll go" and the other 2 put their hands on his back. Such a great scene :) Akatsuki is sooo cute <3...And BA to add!! Loving her. Dat last scene with them flying on the Griffons was awesome too :D LOVING THE OST!!! >_< |

| Nice episode. There was a a lot of explaining done with the PKs and the player classes. The whole class/subclass idea is pretty interesting. Guess we're going to end up seeing a bunch of unique players and skills in the game. That battle was pretty cool, nice to see Shiroe's strategizing in action. |
| there is actually strategy in the battles depending on the classes involved, that's how a mmorpg anime should be, fucking amazing |
| I love the strategy in battle, can't wait for more. Had me smiling throughout the whole thing. Kinda wish there were more awesome offensive spells but Shirou doesn't need them. Also makes me wonder if they have Archers because those are one of my favorite classes. Akatsuki is so badass but moe at the same time. That griffon scene was amazing. Really liking this series, hope the quality doesn't drop. |

| I guess it's sort of doing its job as an MMORPG anime ... but I can't help but feel it's somewhat lackluster. I mean, even the characters themselves admitted that they "had nothing to do" -- there's no tension, or driving plot. I know there'll be complications later on, some has already been put into light, but besides the main "how'd we get stuck in this" issue, there's really nothing else driving this. Can't help but feel that the fact that they are stuck in the game is but a cheap way to write a story about an MMORPG without having to deal with the fact that people have "real lives" ... Debauchery Tea Party: I really hope that that the whole elite group past is not gonna be disappointing. Sigh, I can probably already tell what happened and why the MC feels the way he does towards guilds. |

| My wallpaper makes a bit of sense now. That's where the griffons came from. Great episode, can really see this doing great. Nice use of strategy, definitely in my top 3 of the season. |

Dairy Farmer? BEST SUB CLASS EVER!! , I bet some players are like "*facepalm* What the hell was I thinking when I decided to be a Butler as a sub class" xD Also what would the cleaners subclass include? xD Can people who didn't chose that sub-class clean? But great episode I like how the Mc Isn't a complete idiot and actually thinks about stuff before starting a fight. |

| It's getting better just like other ones the 2nd ones are packed with actions I like the way they explain things Which draws one in that has no knowledge about MMORPG's at all The ride on the Griffons were impressive Would have been nice if Akatsuki was sitting in front of her Lord instead for balance xD |

And in the classes & races explanation topic, they said that assassin class can use ranger weapons to..assassinate. |

| Keep getting interesting. The MC is pretty smart and work well with his team. I like that there are many subclasses like MMORPG, making the characters more unique. Unlike SAO's first arc, you don't have to worry about dying here. People have no goal like clearing all of the floors and instead killing time with PKing others. I'm sure there will be plot soon enough. Seems like it will be 2 cour, I expect a great deal from this series. |

SAO had its good sides, but I already LH more due to being far more MMORPG-ish... not to mention the MC is better (what, I prefer strategists to supermen) _DoctorWho_ said: I feel like im missing a little thing called a main plot It is a ~24 episodes long show. For such long shows, it is not uncommon for main plot to start later (usually around ep5 and before ep10). |

| Liking the worldbuilding, in 2 episodes it already did it 100x better than SAO in 12 episodes (which were spent on the actual SAO, not ALO). The plot is weak so far, but the whole thing of "having nothing to do" can potentially be used to develop a variety of themes, although I may just be setting the bar too high here. |
