Sophia is such a good character that I want to see more of her. I can't believe that Honda would crumble down since this cm would also be shown to Japan where they would think of him as a traitor or something. I want to see more of her. =[ cm reminded me of Kill Bill for some reason. |

| I actually ended up liking Sophia. Though, I can't believe that Goro almost did the throw the pitch at the mannequin. It just seems with the way he is, no matter how much someone else's job was threatened, he would refuse to throw that pitch there. Though, the end commercial was funny. I started laughing and laughed harder at Tagia's and Kaoru's reaction. |

How Sophia was used in this episode was completely different than how she was used in the manga, not to mention out of sequence. Go look at my other thread I created on here called "Major". If you click the links and read through the posts, you'll understand more of what I'm saying. As for the person who said "When you read the manga, you are 90% more likely to bitch." That should be obvious. Who wants filler material? Especially when the end is drawing near. And next week is just ... looks to be the worst filler yet of this season. The only explanation to account for this is drawing it out more to have this season end at a good point so that they can do a 7th and final season and have a good transition between this one and the next. I hope this is their intentions. And hey I wouldn't be upset if they actual manga was translated into English, but it isn't. So that's why I'm getting disappointed with filler material here. |

It is a filler. Except the commercial, there is no substance in this episode. The behavior of all characters is so childish. It can't be Major League. And what about money? How much money did Shigeno get? The much better publicity would have been if e.g. he has donated this money... I am so disappointed in this Major Season. |

| Shigeno has never been very good when it comes to being nice to girls;I'm surprised he changed his mind to pitch at the mannequin for her sake. His commercial was really funny in the end though. I liked how it skipped to his girlfriends house. |

| LMFAO I'M DYING. BEST. COMMERCIAL. EVER. Fun episode. Sophia's a great character (even if she's kinda annoying at first). I would totally ship her with Goro if Kaoru wasn't already dating him. I'm fine with this filler. It was a nice change of pace |
| I wonder why they are wasting some filler episode here when the season is about to end (and the last season!). I hope it is not rushed. Anyway, there are still 3 OVAs after this so the proper wrap up will be probably there. Funny how the other teammates are jealous with Goro. Hehe, private coach eh.. |
| In only one episode, Sophia managed to prove how awesome she is. Wouldn't have minded seeing more of her. Got a good laugh at the end, wow that's nuts. "At least you got to hear his voice again." |

| Really enjoyable episode, the commercial was hilarious and Sophia and Goro surprisingly have really good chemistry. Too bad he's already attached. My stand on the Goro-Shimizu relationship remains the same - it would have worked much better if they had gotten together later. |
| That commercial . . . But why on Earth would they try and get Shigeno to go along with the original commercial knowing full well that his dad was killed by a dead ball to the head? Isn't that in poor taste? Well, atleast he wasn't forced to do that commercial, fear he might have lost the respect of quite a few people had he done it. Also don't most major league players have personal trainers if not team trainers? The fact that nobody has been monitoring Shigeno's diet or even suggesting workouts to him seems like a cause for concern. |

| I don't care if it is filler. This episode is really cute and funny. I am already falling in live with Sophia. She is really cute and determined girl. That commercial is really priceless. I can't stop laughing at that and the reaction of Kaoru and Taiga is priceless XD. |

| Sophia is a great character. If I wasn't already so far into the Gorou x Shimizu camp I'd ship her with Gorou. The commercial ended up being hilarious too. Filler or otherwise, it was a fun episode. |

| Ouch.. what a brutally bad episode. I'm glad past posters enjoyed it, though. With all the replies, I thought something big would happen this episode, but I guess not. I am getting a little nervous now because there are only 8 episodes left.. and I want to see the Hornets go to the World Series.. hopefully the writers didn't have to rush it.. |
| Getting injured time after time and even forcing his injuries by continuing to play, Goro definitely needed a conditioning coach in his life. Not sure if Kaoru would like that though especially if she knew how close Sophia and Goro got there. On a sidenote that commercial felt like a reference to Kill Bill. |
