This gave me a slight Busou Shinki vibe.

Ao Gennai is cute while we get an introduction of the frame girls. (their model has a CGI-sh design though). We got some info dump about the gadgets and mechanics of their frame.

Idk what to think about this Gourai girl yet. Baselard is adorable so far :o
ED theme song is kinda cute.

It looked pretty nice it was funny to watch.
Gourai seems pretty strict and Aoi is very easy going so the work together somehow Stiletto appearing like that was nice as well.
Guess this might be worth a shot.

The main seems much better tho since the main from Busou Shinki was one of the most boring ones i have ever seen.

For most intents and purposes it is almost Busou Shinki, same designers working on Frame Arms Girls and especially Megami Devices. Kotobukiya is saving plastic robot girls from Konami. They even have prototype FAgirl shinki kits, but those are in limbo because of Konami.

Decent first episode. There is a lot CG, mainly for the battles and the frame girls. It looks okay. Got to learn about them. Ao is quite lazy.

It's pretty much the successor of Busou Shinki. Konami, trying to implode itself by purging anything that's NOT Yugioh or Pachinko, has not done anything for this line and everyone has moved on. Thank goodness FAG came to take the torch.

I wish Cowboy Bebop never existed.

There was nothing that was overly offensive in this episode.... I don't think this is a good show, its just perfectly passable.

Enjoying this far more than Busou Shinki already. Even the human is pretty cute.

Pros don't need good nippers. Where do I sign up for free FAGs? Been eyeing Architect for a while, but don't feel like paying Kotobukiya's marked up prices.

It makes sense that you guys/gals have the Busou Shinki vibes from this with Kotobukiya trying to rescue the greatness that Konami JP stupidly destroyed. Konami had a nasty brainless purge that Kotobukiya decided to carry the greatness that's 15cm tall battle robots in the form of 'Frame Arms Girl', thus we have this.

I'm actually loving this because it brings more fun to the table, something that's hard to get when people are picky & serious.

It still keeps the concept of weaponry customizatio, the sentience, as well as the battle realm of things. The whole 'AS', and such.

I'm so glad Kotobukiya took this over by picking up from Konami'd idiocy. Makes me wonder though if we'll even see a game version of Frames Arms.....

It's wonderful to see how a hobby becomes an Anime and Manga, well just Frame Arm Girls plamo figure hehehe. But I'm not very happy with the Kotobukiya commercials in middle of the show.

By the way for reference Gourai, Stylet and Baselard are designed/ilustraded by Shimada Fumikane (the creator of Strike Witches). In the original ilustration Gourai have some resemblance to Hartmann in appearance, in the anime she look a little more adorable.

This will be my Monday anime.

What does that mean?

Anyway, I enjoyed it, even though it is... odd.

So this is part small soldiers, part Toy Story, and part Strike Witches all with an easy going digital collectible Disney Infinity like anime with purposefully plastic looking cgi girls cutely being cute...

It's too bad that this show is so concerned with fan service. It's so in your face that I can't even enjoy it or ignore it. Guess I'm dropping this one on episode 1 too, lol. I liked the premise, but there is too much fan service in here for me to tolerate : (. Oh well, you appease one audience and lose another. Just how it goes.

Did you notice that Baselard was dressed up like a bunny girl? I thought it was strange that she was in heels and what not until I looked at the rest of her outfit and facepalmed. Yup, clearly directed towards all of the ecchi folks. Really too bad again, because I loved Chobits and I would have loved this show too.

I don't think that I will ever understand people that watch anime for fan service.

A very promising start! the fact the butt is right in your face is quite annoying, but it's body suit as she said in the end so no problem here xD
The battles are pretty cool with hp indicators and a different world kinda setting, frame arms girls concept is interesting too, i wonder how it will progress, will it be only testing or will battle be serious as we go later on? It was great seeing that they are willing to know what kind of emotions human have but they can't produce the same like Gorou trying to pinch her cheeks for a smile but couldn't do so. I feel it's what robots should be like.

But objectively the best part is ... MC, damn i love her already, she is MEga pretty and her personality is the best. Kinda airhead type (she forgot to check her mail or too lazy to read the message) she is also super sweet. Anyway i like her a lot and even if anime blunders i will still keep watching it just for her.

Didn't plan on watching this because I have other anime lined up, but I'm at a hotel with nothing to do but watch anime with my phone. Plus I thought this was going to be kind of lame.

Both kind of right and wrong. Don't exactly like staring at panties right off the bat and through out the anime for no good reason, CG battle was bad, and I just don't really care all that much. But MC was pretty good and made this pretty enjoyable to watch.

Will I continue watching this? Probably. Will I finish this? Probably not.

The MC, Ao, is cute (probably my main reason why I am watching it) and I like how she is somehow lazy and airhead at certain times. :v
Not particularly a fan of CGI but it was still watchable.
I like how they include some basic concept of building model kits like these. I hope they will continue doing that coz as a model kit builder, I really find it amusing to watch.
I felt that the pace is kinda fast for a first episode but still I pretty much satisfied with it.
Looking forward to the next episode. :)

Kantai Collection meets Toy Story, that's what I got out of it.

Seriously though for what was basically a 20 minute advert, it was better than I expected. Minimal exposition, the CG blended better than most I've seen and Ao wasn't annoying. She was actually pretty likeable.
Sadly, I can't say the same for the actual Frame Arms Girls. They were annoying and the character designs kind of creep me out.
I'm really torn over whether or not to keep watching. I think, if the next episode doesn't add anything new, I'll drop it. If it does, I'll stick with it.

Any CG that isn't jarring is fine CG. Since FAGs are distinct from humans and the environment, and being android plamo hybrids, the CG is well-integrated and doesn't clash much with the rest of the animation.

I may have not collected the Frame Arms Girl model kits but I do know they exist. Also as a toy collector and had history of model building I do say the part where they show hoe it's done did annoy for treating the main girl like an idiot for not knowing how to read numbers! Seriously, how hard is that?!! Also losing parts and assembling them in the wrong order? Also true from experience.

Not a fan of the pantyshots but I saw Strike Witches so I guess I have to deal with it.

It's not insulting at all. Introduced some friends to to plamo recently (not recommended, watching them build is like witnessing child abuse), and the first question was how to follow the instructions. Sure, they probably could have figured it out it if they studied the manual for a few seconds, but when presented with something in an unlearned language, the first instinct is to ask.

Well maybe I had good instructions because language didn't stop me. Really, if the instructions had clear pictures step by step then it doesn't matter what language it is.

The worst instructions I had were the attachments for figma Vehicles Panzer IV because they were so vague and didn't clarify which piece goes where and had to use promotional pictures to know where they go.

I did say it was easy to figure out, but when you have experienced people next to you, it's easier to ask. In fact, the way they did it in this episode was probably to advertise how simple it is, especially with Kotobukiya brand God Hands!

Don't get why people are getting so upset seeing pantsu that they drop it on sight. *sigh* ffs even the anime PV's and entry picture shows them.

As someone who enjoyed making model cars as a child this show makes me want to get back into model making. Definitely resonates well with me.

The battle scene was short, but a non-issue because of how much explanation was happening. Now that's mostly out of the way they will probably be lasting longer now.

Loved the first episode, and will more than likely finish this series this season.
