| I thought that was a pretty good ending, and it brought everything full circle pretty nicely. Based on how it ended, I hope we get a second season, though based on what I've read here I don't think there will be. What would Ganta do if he found out Shiro was the Red Man?? Maybe I'll have to read the manga then, if there's no second season? Seeing Owl go was sad but at least a few of the Scar crew escaped. Overall I'd give the series a 7or8/10 |

| so the old man took over Mockingbird, who has the ability to steal other abilities if he drinks their blood? should have named him Dracula. :) besides that, I suppose the series was alright. didn't have an original plot or awesome fight sequences but taken altogether it wasn't half bad, just average. And enjoyable. 7/10 |

| Good show overall, but i liked the first half or so of the season a lot more than the second half. The ending wasn't a real ending at all. I really want to know what happens after with Shiro being the red man, but I suppose I'll have to read the manga to find out. |

| Even if a second season is planned, there were certain things that should have been explained this season. Seemed like the whole thing turned out to be a 12 episode long manga advertisement. Regardless, it was enjoyable with most of the good moments being before Ganta joined the Scar Chain group. |

| Will there be a second season for DW? The ending was nothing special... It's like it's begging for another season or OVA. Besides, Crow is a very likable character in my opinion and a new season with him in it will make me very happy. Too bad he only showed up in some episodes. Many questions weren't answered. For example, who exactly is the Red Man? And what made Red Man kill Ganta's classmates? Still waiting for a second season. |

| THAT'S IT? THAT'S IT? THAT IS THE ENDING? ///flip the table And damn Nagi's death brought me on the verge of my tears, he is one of the characters I want to live until the end of the series. No apparent conclusion, I should read the manga soon to catch up. Shiro is still annoying towards the end :< never like her character from the very start. Ganta? Eh he gets better. Only slightly. |

| WTF??this is all?, so disappointing, i suppose they have not enough money for another season.... 7/10 (Great story, great characters, great dramatic moments, great Shiro but horrible end and they show pretty soon that Shiro was The red man) |

| I can't understand why people are saying this was a good ending, it wasn't an ending at all, NOTHING is explained. How is that at all satisfying? No real character development for anyone so I didn't care about their fates either. I suppose I'll give this anime a 6 as it didn't bore me at least. |

| Well that was an odd "ending" to say the least. I'm probably going to pickup the manga from chapter 1 sometimes during summer. Honestly many things weren't answered. However, I did enjoy some of the characters like Senji. I didn't get bored watching so that is a plus. Not going to watch the OVA because there is no point. |

| Seems there's room left for a 2nd season in the works. Karako loved Nagi :'( He could've tried his hardest to live for her and they could make babies and get his happiness back Y-Y so sad. I thought she would've died with him, but I'm glad she has the will to live on her own. I wonder how Ganta would react once he knows about the other side of Shiro........ |

Omg i always thought that manga was for lazy people it's like comix, only pictures there and nothing to read, Lucky Star is an exeption it's like small jokes with pictues, still can't call it reading. You can't be serious when you so go read manga ... Reading is fun because it stirs your imagination, while reading you get your own unique image. Manga is just looking on black pictures, some people just can't understand what's drawn there etc ... Why people don't understand that reading, watching video and looking on the pictures are completely different things and one may enjoy just one thing but not another, if you okay with everything well good for you. Take skating you may love roller skating and dislike or even hate ice skating. IMO for comparison it's like skating, skiing and cycling. while all sports and may be all fun, but usually one chooses what he likes best and focuses on that hobby, however he might do smth. else just for a change on rare occasions. |

| I now know why this show is under rated it's because of that we didn't get the ending it would have been better Ganta found out about Shiro's identity that way things would have got pretty interesting. sarroush said: Sadly it never happened ;-;9/10. | Did not really work for me as a whole :( I really enjoyed episode 1-3 but the direction the whole anime took was not my cup of tea (Straying too far from the initial storyline, pacing too fast, annoying main characters) I give it a 5/10, bit of a shame I really hoped for more :( |
