| So his "friend" has a terrible crush on him! She all but throws herself at him, and he's smart enough to go stay with his Boss. And her "friend" wants her to come on an unexpected double date with his boss and him. Hmm. Poor childhood friend Oushi, he kinda is too familiar and doesn't yet realize he's been in the Friendzone forever, it's pretty much impossible to get out of that status. The 2 men kind of "beef" a little at the station. Their "date" is shopping at Costaco ... Cos .. Taco? Lol. The wingman helps her friend get more alone time with his boss, so he can get more alone time with her. Win-Win. That was a master stroke. Are we sure this guy isn't a player? Because if he is the chances of her getting hurt are very high. |

The Oushi hate is unbelievable to me.
| @HajimeNozomiUwU Yes, I get what you mean. The guy in a sense is more sympathetic than the main interest of Yuki, because with his failings he at least seems humanlike in contrast to Itsoumi who seems nothing more than the archetipical prince-sama in every shoujo. |

| Oushi continues to clumsily and desperately try to get Yuki's attention. I can't think of a context in which fiddling with her hair and leaning on her would go down well, especially when she's obviously preoccupied. It still doesn't feel like he is a valid character that deserves examination and sympathy, he just comes across as a cartoonish love rival. It also doesn't help we know almost nothing about him still. He can sign and has known Yuki for years. And? Itsuomi might not be a much better match for Yuki, but at least he treats her like a person. I'm starting to feel vaguely worried about his true intentions, though; is he interested in her, or just curious about her "world"? Hopefully the story does a good job exploring this. |
I feel like this anime just injects sympathy through our veins directly. We all know the romance-comedy genre which means that there is not a single event going on, just day by day two people get closer. Even though this anime seems like any other romance anime, this feels different. The fact that Yuki is deaf just makes İtsuomi more sympathic and reliable. Also the behavior he shows feels safe. The thing is every episode makes a starlight shine in my heart. So there is not much to talk about episode by episode, just the course that Yuki and İtsuomi have. And last thing, i feel like Oushi is just standing in their way.. I don't want the childhood friend to lose either but he's just jealous and tries to win Yuki even though it's too late... |
| "Costaco," haven't seen that one before lmao. 90% of the time it's either McDonalds/some hamburger chain restaurant or Starbucks. Agh the main characters are pretty cute, can't deny that. Don't really care much about the side couple. The inevitable love triangle...I'm a bit surprised by how much hate Oushi is getting in general, but...well, I'll admit maybe my bias towards childhood friends/second lead/emotionally-driven characters is skewing my perception of him so I won't say much further. Even though Oushi is written as the "jealous love rival" and has exactly zero percent chance of winning, I hope he will develop outside of that character trope and that he realizes his belittling/overly protective attitude towards Yuki is only turning her away from him. As for Itsuomi, I hope in the next episode we learn more about his true feelings towards Yuki; obviously he's interested in her, but in a romantic way? Atm he seems like too perfect of a guy, so I also hope we will see more of his not-so-perfect personality. |

| This episode was once again cute and wholesome. Except for the tension between Oshi and Itusomi. Like I get how Oshi is worried about Yuki but he acts like a parent at this point. Also speaking about boundaries but resting his head on Yuki's shoulder? And I still think Ema is annoying... And I don't really know what's happening with her and Shin and why that is of interest for us. I could relate so much with Rin in this episode to be honest. Being around your crush (alone) is really hard. But Kyoya seems to worry about Yuki a lot. I really hope he is wrong tho. To me it seems like Itsumi might catch feelings for her as well but maybe mch more slowly and maybe he doesn't realize it right away so this could cause some misunderstandings. I'm looking forward to the next episode! |

| A delightful shopping episode! I loved Rin and Kyouya's reactions to seeing Yuiki and Itsuomi together. As for Oushi, I'm conflicted because it's nice that he cares for Yuki, but at times, he can be a bit bothersome. If it turns out he's in love with Yuki, it wouldn't surprise me. The situation with Emma feels like more of the same, and I haven't developed much interest in her yet, even though she might become a potential romantic rival. I'm excited and concerned about Yuki going to Itsuomi's house. |

| I don’t know maybe I’m just not the biggest fan of straight romances, but this ep was a little lacking for me. I was slightly bored halfway through, but the ending did give us something to look forward to so I’m thinking I will still tune in next week. I feel that Itsuomi was kinda rude to the childhood best friend. Maybe he just got super defensive, but I felt bad for him, as he was ignored. And why did Itsuomi cover her eyes? Like dont be a freak and think you can just stop her from seeing her friend. I did not like that. |

The twinkle in Itsuomi's eyes when he's staring at Yuki kills me ugh Rin and Kyouya's bug eyes when they saw Yuki and Itsuomi holding hands made me laugh. Esp bc he was saying that Itsuomi might turn down Yuki lmao. I do wonder what Itsuomi's dream is. Does Japan really have Costco? Bc if it does, I need to go!! It hurts to see that Yuki can't hear him call her name. Itsuomi is so damn smooth, please. I can't handle it anymore. Sort of feel for Oushi since he clearly has feelings for Yuki but he hasn't matured enough and still treats her like a helpless child because she's deaf. She's a grown woman, bro. I feel like Emma is going to be in Itsuomi's apt since she has his spare key On a side note, I'm a huge fan of the animation and all the pretty colors and twinkles. Its so damn good wtf |

| Hey, Shin must be friendzoned, right? He must have been friendzoned by Emma, right?! The double date under the guise of shopping together was really cute. Kyouya and Rin looked like parents who were surprised to see their children holding hands xD but Itsuomi's voice when calling "Yu~ki" did sound very gentle and sweet. I even found myself smiling like crazy. Ahahaha The funny thing is, Kyouya can immediately guess that Yuki has a crush on Itsuomi. So why can't he guess that Rin has a crush on him? :'D |

Its so damn good wtf Yeah it is kind of easy on the eyes to look at. Also amusing how faces go simple whenever communication through signing is involved between Yuki and Oushi. This is to help draw your attention to the signing not their faces. Side related note I had seen a video talking about lip flaps in anime and basically they tend to be less detailed than western animation because reading mouth position isnt very important to Japanese from how their language involves less movement of the mouth. Im not sure id phrase it that way but there is a sense of isolation that comes off of Yuki when she isnt around Rin, Oushi or Itsuomi because she cant hear the world around her, not properly anyway. So i can kind of understand from Yuki's perspective how some of his gestures may feel comforting. I relate a little with Yuki and Itsu both mainly Yuki. Itsuomi is just far too sociable for me to relate with him beyond him being patient and considerate with Yuki. |
