| I like the first episode. I expect an inmense world building in this anime for some reason. I'm worried with the number of episodes but the pacing is good so far. |

| DAMN!! Quite a heavy info-dumping first episode, with a lot of characters and world-building. But the OSTs, OP and ED are brilliant, the level you would come to expect from Sawano himself at the helm. I have a feeling this is gonna get more action-oriented with a darker story as it progresses on.. |

| Yea this show looks very dialouge heavy, which I'm fine with since I've enjoyed LOGH which is known for having a lot of dialouge. Just a introductory episode where we see the main character and the setting they live in. This is one of those episodes where I can't judge yet |

Yes, there may be some deaths ;-) If you remain focused (or like me watch each ep twice) you'll pick up lots of detail that will make the later episodes far more rewarding (and a lot less confusing) And don't forget it's Sci-Fi, not some type of historical fiction |

| Well that was off to a banging start, showcasing both the "peaceful" lives the of the Republic citizens in the capital and the horrendous battles the 86 has to put up on a daily basis |
| Oh my god...oh my god...this show is great. Yeah even though it hasn't even packed the action and the drama yet, I can already feel the tension and its rage brewing below the surface. And for a show like this, I'm actually impressed it already made me feel it from the get-go. I can see why people loved this and has anticipated its release back in April, I wish I couldve watched this before goddamn it. But here I am in September, watching this show, and I'll say it again, this show is something great! |

| Right from the start we witnessed the most beautiful woman in this season non-other than Lena herself her character design is godly nothing can compare to be honest This world looks like something I imagine happening in the future but this just shows how it can be hard like really hard how this all turns out to be with 2 sides hating each other's guts and somehow helping each other to fight an unknown enemy Guessing from what we've been given Lena seems like a nice person which cares for people not only her kind but the other "non-humans" as well, The world building is still rising and there's more to it I'll be looking forward to that more likely the bloodshed that will happen in future battles (that OP though it's so good and it fits nicely). |

| Not that much of an interesting premise,but maybe later on characters and their struggles will grow on me.This series can either be a big flop or a heart-wrenching ride that makes me care.It has potential in both directions as world building continues. CG was good.It seems to me,battle units are another area which the series can expound upon,their differences and so on.Character art is very basic but the scenery and architecture was drawn quite nicely. |
| Meh this episode is pretty shit. It's basically akito the exiled recycled. The juxtaposition of falling food with boom is just forced like they want to put some symbolism otherwise no. The world building in the anime is pretty messy. So the female lead born of incest(since everyone has same hair colour in the Empire), has feelings for the drones unlike other generals and this somehow makes her special. Smh. 9/10 chance that she will fucking fall in love with the Undertaker. Cliche . Nothing is known of the characters who are acting as drones. They live au natural unlike the elite who can only hope for artificial eggs and cheese which makes me cringe. Nothing is known about shin and his team except shin apparently creates badges of his teammates just like akito. Wonder when the differences will end between this anime and akito the exiled. Why is the bullshit police state fighting and using drones? No one knows. Ppl may say that Shin killing his teammates is supposed to be tearjerking, but it's honestly laughable. Don't the team members have a kill switch? I don't know a thing about the characters that's supposed to give the appeal to the characters in this episode. What a waste of a pilot episode. Honestly if this doesn't change in the next 2 episodes, i am gonna give this a 1 for poor execution. |

| Very interesting premise and a serious tone with some light-hearted moments, but we are at war. The people in the kingdom all have a hair color, they are the superior race I think? I can see the racism theme with how the soldiers treated like sub-human pawns while the commander controls them remotely. But the commander goes crazy due to the neural link technology with the fighters. Well, the art looks good and the girl is cute, let's see what this show offer! |

| Finally i start watching 86 after almost a year, watching too much show at the time (Spring 2021) made me have to skip some show. CGI looking Good, i like the Girl Lena already. War + Racism, i'm intrigued. also i'm here for of course the one and only Hiroyuki Sawano. |

| Finally my long awaited LN adaptation this year 86!!! Glory to Spearhead Squadron !!! ShinLena!! Undertaker!! Handler-One Really excited from this episode 1 premiere, the production seems great, Art and Visual were top notch, the Directing was good too. A1 really did a wonderful job. Great introduction from both Republic of San Magnolia and 86 itself, we can see the reason of Legion conflict and why the racial discrimination happening between the Alba's and the Colorata that mostly got exiled outside 85 district. We got introduced to both of our MC's that separated by their racial differences. Shin, One of the best processor in the 86th that known as grim reaper. Along his life as processor he known as the one who also took the life of his fellow comrade. The reason because if he didn't do that legion'll take their head/brain instead. Lena, the other MC's the Handler or we could say operator that commanding and managing the 86th's processor in the battlefield, not like most Alba's(A.K.A white pigs XD) She had different views about how they should actually trait 86th equally as human beings. With her amazing skill on being a handler She also the youngest person that promoted to Major rank among all the handlers. Other than that we got some introduction to the War condition itself, Lena's friend and Commander/her Uncle, short brief about how the system works, and ofc The Spearhead Squadron itself. Really excited to watching throughout this journey of 1st volume of LN adaption can't wait for the next episode!!!! Glory to Spearhead Squadron!!! |
| Quite a lot to digest in one episode, but i'll say i definitely enjoyed it. Really interesting ideas that were shown, always love me a far future anime because of the amount of creative freedom it holds. Slap the military heavy aesthetic and honestly it's already more then half sold for me. The world they showed seemed really in depth, as well as some concepts with the mind linking device. The story direction this episode alone was a banger, the transition from certain scenes were executed well, they nailed some brutality of war pretty well this episode alone, got some chills at certain scenes. Overall after waiting for the anime to fully air so i can binge it, im absolutely ready. |

| Bit hard to follow with all those transitions from peaceful moments to dark battlefield moments but looks interesting so far. Curious to see the relation development between Miriźe and the undertaker with the rest of the 86 squad. |

| This show has been on my radar for weeks now when I noticed the sequel has a very high average user score for something that's relatively unheard of and then lo and behold it's on Netflix now just the other day so here I am. Interesting premise so far but I'm really curious as to who or what the fuck are they fighting? Humans as well piloting spider-looking robots? |
