| This is not a spoiler but a question. From what was seen in the fourth episode and the opening, does anyone think Sakuragi is gonna die or disappear in the future cause I see only six guys? |

It's possible he could end up in the show but in a supporting role, like we see him a few times throughout the long series, but who knows. I mean, I literally have no idea where the show will go once they're free, but I can't wait to find out. |

Also, the opening shows all six of them outside of the jail and wearing different attires, but sakuragi, shown from a much closer view, is probably wearing the jail outfit, at least the collar appeared like that, so I am assuming. |

| It breaks my heart to know that Sakuragi was such an optimistic person before he was sent to the detention center, or even before his father came home from Siberia. It seemed like he was a different person. I guess juvi does that to you. :/ There's some definite character growth in this episode, especially on Baremoto's part. He isn't as cold as he was at the beginning of the series. And is it just me, or did anyone notice something symbolic about that bunch of bananas? Btw, I hate Ishihara with a burning passion at this point of the series. Such a bastard... |

For those truly curious and do not mind a little spoiler about Sakuragi on whether he gets out of the reformatory: As for the rest, just watch the next few episodes. You will find out about the "other" that Sakuragi referenced in Episode 3 during the flashback of Ishihara beating up Sakuragi. |
| This show is still disappointing and poor :c I cannot care about a friendship built up with... I don't know, but Baremoto can hardly have said more than twenty sentences to the others so far, and most of them were basically "I don't trust people". The only moment of memorable interaction he had with anyone from the cell was calling Sakuragi out as a murderer, and I don't know about you, but to me that doesn't sound like good grounds for a friendship. Especially not for an unsociable paranoid misanthrope. Yes, they had offscreen friendship bonding time. Just like how Alone In The Dark had good offscreen scenes. Would have been better if he helped them out because he felt guilty or something, instead of suddenly! FRIENDSHIP! And hory zen, the dialogue is really horrid. I chocked on a grape at some lines. I like corniness, but I prefer corniness in shows which, well, try to be corny. Not in shows that try to be serious. Sakuragis background was the first pretty good thing with this show though. Because it gave us the first actually credible and interesting character, his father. Melodramatic and simplistic, sure, but he actually underwent a credible character development arc in less than ten minutes or so. Maybe this show can do something right after all? Or maybe it just tricked me to keep me from dropping it. I'm giving you a chance here, show, don't squander it. Feed me more clichéd but-more-interesting-than-the-main-characters... ur, characters. Yeah. also lol at the villains as usual. I could find more subtlety in a cheap weekday afternoon soap opera. |

| So, another tale of friendship, heroic stuff and all that comes with it. I even giggled at some 'tragic' parts... bummer. Flashbacks are still good though. |

| Blah episode. At the end of the day, it did everything I expected it to do going off of what happened previously, and nothing more. Instead of harping on the presentation of the show yet again, I'll just say that in watching FroZen's subs, we see an interview with the writer. There, he admits that his main goal was to make everyone seem cool. In doing so, it all comes off as cheesy as he didn't want it to seem. So, I think I'm done making comments in that vein, unless something ridiculous happens. That was the intent all along, and I was right. Continuing to complain would be the same as not liking panty shots in an ecchi show. |

| I want to be blown away by this... but the amount of drama and THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP moments are killing the potential this series had to do that. It makes it so much more difficult to take this show seriously. |

| this anime has some brilliant moments but then ther are some extremely cheesy scenes, the first half of the ep was corny an the second part, particularly the flashback was very good i can see that this anime will be difficult to rate |

One of the little problems I have with this anime so far is that bad guys look bad...way too cliche. It's not like all the bad guys in the world are that butt ugly. But I guess that's the artist's fault :/ That was quite touching, though now I'm not sure why Sakuragi is in juvie? I mean he didn't directly kill his father or anything, even if he feels responsible for his father's death. But anyways, good to see that they're all bros again ^^ |

| I didn't like the first half that much, it felt a little too shounen-ish. The punch for Ishihara was really good, I was satisfied, that bastard better not be on screen anymore or else I might break a laptop or two. It's great to learn of Sakuragi's past, but to be honest, it's getting a little boring now.. The music was fine until the end, when the Dr. Sakaki appears, and they just switched it to the creepy music, damn.. ~.~ So, Sakuragi is going to be released from the prison soon? |
