| I was not the biggest fan of this arc but this episode was absolutely adorable! Vanir rescuing Maxwell was also scary, its easy to forget he is still a demon. I feel bad for Megumin, she even left the room because she knew what Lalatinas father wanted to say.. and then Aqua goes on to say technically Kazuma bought her.. Speaking of Aqua, Im surprised absolutely nobody mentioned the debt was because of her stupid flood. Only Kazuma knows that and maybe Darkness? I did fully expect her to heal Lalatinas father at the last second though, either that or revive him after death. I can not believe they ended this season without showing us Emperor Zel hatching! Such a tease! I know paying the husband to marry the wife was a thing in the middle ages, but 2 billion? Damn that must sting for Divorcedness. I still dont rate this season all that highly.. I just rewatched the older seasons and the movie and loved them, but this season never really catched me. I hope S4 comes sooner and is better.. PS: Megumins explosion stole the show again |

I just assume that the egg will hatch at some point, or else they would not have put so much effort into it. Again, this is not a spoiler, its common sense.. |

| I wasn't enjoying that much the start of the season due to the constant screaming but it got better and better after each episode, the focus on Darkness was great, I like her so much, she saved the season for me, now I hope the next season doesn't take yet another 84 years... |

| Lmao Aldarp took the L losing Darkness and got destroyed by Vanir, anyway that was fun good that they could save Darkness, even though Megumin had to explode the church and turns out her father wasn't dying he was just under a curse so now he's fine xD Not the best season but I don't mind it at all it had some really funny moments, wonder if this is truly the last one though. |

| It was best season. Multiple funny scenes and jokes. Last two episodes were weaker, but still good. Many episodes helped me get by with my sad life too bad it is over.. Lalatina was best in this season, it would be great for story if Kazuma married her for real :D We already had Megumin part so now maybe season to help Aqua in some way? |

| Of course Darkness would be more than happy to pay Kazuma back with her body xD. You know, I really thought Darkness' father was going to die. Thank you Aqua for the laughs lmao. That scene with Alderp, Vanir and Maxwell was creepy, I wasn't expecting that. "Divorcedness" lol, loved that last scene. Man, what can I say about this series. It is one of my all time favorite anime and this season did not disappoint, it had such golden moments and I enjoyed it as much as the previous ones. These 4 weirdos are so freaking lovable and funny and their seiyuu do such a wonderful job voicing them. They give them so much, my favorite performance of each of them is with these characters. And in this season, the season of Darkness, Ai Kayano excelled at voicing her. It was so damn funny! God bless that woman, Darkness best girl! Now, where's my season 4 announcement?! Dammit! I'm going to miss this show, I'm going to miss looking forward to every Wednesday for more Konosuba. Give me season 4 and please don't take forever. |

This season felt different. Comedy is still great, but I'm not sure if I liked those more serious moments. And the biggest difference is Aqua being useful, multiple times even :|

| This was a good season, much better than S2. |
| Some darker stuff the anime didn't touch: - The anime didn't explain it or show it properly, but the reason Maxwell has trouble remembering thing is because a big chunk of his skull is missing. It's like a third of his head is a crater. - The memory issue is what allowed Alderp to constantly make wishes without paying the price, until Vanir showed up that is. Now Maxwell is feasting upon him until he dies in hell. - In S1 Alderp wanted Darkness to marry his adopted son because his plan was to swap bodies with him and have his way with Darkness. - When this plan failed, he sent the body switching item to the prince(who gave it to Iris as a present) in hopes of switching bodies with him in the future. In episode 3 at the party he tells everyone only the prince is worthy of marrying Darkness. - Alderp used Maxwell multiple times through the show. Racking up debts for the group, manipulating Kazuma's trial in S2. Maxwell made Darkness take the 2bn loan from Alderp. - Alderp regularly kidnapped and raped women who looked similar to Darkness. - Curses and natural deaths can't be revived. That's the reason Aqua wasn't called to Darkness's dad. Aqua can 'smell' evil things like curses if she's close to them. - The episode ended early, it's missing the final scene with Chris and Kazuma. - Other stuff missing from the season: While Darkness was missing Kazuma went on a date. Megumin created a thief guild and started doing quests with Iris and Yunyun. |

| This season was pretty subpar for me. I find I simply do not find the show that funny or enjoy the worthlessness of the overall party. I am sure I am in the overwhelming minority here but I figured the plot would move forward at least a little bit between antics and shenanigans. |

| It took a while for this season to really get started but once it did, it was right up there with the best sections this series has to offer! Megumin's disgusted expression when hearing Kazuma buying out Darkness was hilarious, I'd too rewind that a few times, xD. And then watch it until the end of the segment. I love Darkness and it's lovely to see her back with her M-side still intact. Divorcedness, I'm sure she'll start to appreciate the ring of it soon enough. Aqua with that curse dispelling spell out of nowhere and totally breaking the momentum was on spot. Kazuma hiding behind Darkness during the explosion magic was another highlight. Nice to see the small cameo from YunYun and the demons making sure that the noble got what he deserved. A well rounded season in the end. Ended a little too conveniently, quite admittedly, but hey, the focus of the show is not the realism part. Going to go with a 8/10 for this one. When's next?! |

| While there are some moments to moments comedy gold throughout the season, this Darkness Arc feels like a drag and takes way too long for very minor / artificial incident. This debt issue thing sounds incredibly stupid and way too realistic for the premise of the show. They've done out of bound things and get into more serious trouble before, so why suddenly they become those law binding good citizens who cares about debts so much? If Aqua sneaked into the house with Kazuma she could have break the curse way sooner too. This whole incident feels like a forced drama , and this stupid incident occupies half of the season, and all of the plot related to this incident is boring. The first half of the season is way more hilarious and exciting though. |
