Last movie I watched was a rewatch of Scott Pilgrim! I can't describe exactly why it's one of my favorites but there's something about the editing, the visuals, and the charm of the characters that makes it work well in its favor. It s a unique and fun movie and an experience like no other. Wallace is the best character, by the by.

It's a film talking about Bruce Wayne's would-be wife and the tragedy that led him to finally don the cape of the Dark Knight

It's sad, but that's how most relationships are in life I guess

I was expecting this scene to be in that movie but I was mistaken

The Brass Teapot (2012) had an interesting premise for a dark comedy but I feel like they didn't take it far enough. It should have been way more violent and the situations way more absurd. 4/10

"Inspired by forgotten feelings... Inspired by a True Story"
• With a slightly open-ending, this film felt like a case where the couple may be fated, but not destined.

Last movie I watched was 65, mainly because I love Dinosaurs.
Nah, it was pretty boring and had one of the smallest casts I can ever remember seeing in a movie, will still probably buy it for my Dinosaur movie collection tho.

The new live-action Barbie movie back in summer in a cinema. It was alright but way too hectic for me, bit of a sensory overload with how much was going on. Surprisingly I've never seen or met anyone who agrees on that, most of the negative discourse online is related to the social commentary. Maybe I'm simplyfing it a little but what I got out of it is that it's fine to be imperfect which is a nice message.

Edit: Damn, that would be soon six months ago, maybe I should watch more movies ... although I'm not that interested.

Barbie was the last time I watched a movie, Ryan Gosling easily carried that movie. Before that, it was Oppenheimer and man that was also an amazing experience. Trying to wait for FNAF movie to come out.

A Haunting in Venice, interesting adaptation of the novel, Hallowe'en Party. The film visually equals a sense of reading an entertaining book. Something Branaugh captures nicely with respect to the source material. Doesn't exactly bode well for moviegoers not all that eager to pick up the book. The pacing might be slow and less rewarding for some.

Pretty sure it was FF7 Advent Children. I'm not a movie critic, so I can't say for sure how good it is. But I personally enjoyed it a lot and really loved the conclusion it gives to Cloud's character.

Probably the best way to enjoy it is with the mindset that most things sorta "revolve" around Cloud's character and arc, some odd choices may make more sense like that. Also I love the ending theme song.

My Policeman—there's certainly no lack of passion in this romantic drama but there isn't much depth to any of it. It's rather flippant with its central theme and a little indifferent about self-discovery and love. This movie is more lust than affection. Everyone neglects the other for selfish aims and no one dares to have a mature enough conversation to possibly end any gratuitous suffering. Personally felt that the screenplay asked for two handsome leads and forgot about everything in-between.

Acting was good, despite not having much to work with.

The original Ghostbusters, and I have to say God I love the comedy in that movie. I missed a ton of the humor as a kid and honestly, that's my favorite part of the film. The whole cast was great in it. Shout out to Rick Moranis, he had me laugh hysterically.

Ring 0...not very good at all. For a movie supposedly explaining the backstory of Sadako, it didn't explain much at all (very convoluted). Also, the pacing was terrible.

I watched Killers of the Flower Moon last week.

Eh, it was alright. I thought the acting was fantastic, but the movie was very predictable and I felt like it could have been shortened by at least an hour.

Overall, not bad, not great. 5/10.

After binging Twin Peaks for the last couple of weeks, finally I watched Fire Walk With Me and Missing Pieces. Gotta say, it is definitely PEAK David Lynch.

Like even though Mulholland Drive is still probably my favorite, FWWM and the series is his best. And I still haven't even started The Return. Gonna take a little break.

The Truman Show

Haven't watched that movie for a long time. I like that Jim Carrey is a bit toned down. He is funny but doesn't go crazy with it like he does in some other movies, his acting suit the movie very well

Enjoyed it. I give it 8/10

Manhunter (1986) - 7.8/10

Definitely better than it's remake "Red Dragon" but still suffers from similar issues. Liked the more focused look into Will, makes him feel actually fleshed out and not like a walking plot device. Second half is just as stale as in Red Dragon, just with a slightly worse final confrontation.

I think Napoleon was overall a good experience. The music was good, it looked nice and all the battles were shot very well. Also I was worried about the lead actor as he was too old for the role but he managed to suspend my disbelief.
It really should have been a TV series though or a huge epic movie trilogy. As someone who's familiar with the real guy, there are a lot of cool moments that didn't make it in the film. The movie focused heavily on Napoleon's relationship with Josephine which although very cinema-worthy wasn't even the most interesting part of his life. Maybe they should have titled it Napoleon and Josephine and cut all the battles if they really wanted to go with that.
Also his inner circle should have gotten more focus.
Who knows, maybe they'll fix these issues on the director's cut. Ridley is known for those.
Also Thomas-Alexandre Dumas was someone I expected to see and he was included in the film but who are all the other black people in the film? I don't think late 18th and early 19th century upper class mainland France was so black.
