| The most annoying troupe of all time, when these loser guys weep for valentine chocolates, and I mean I know this is an anime-exclusive thing, but this medium should move on from this thing already. Anyways, being a rizz lord himself, Ayanokouji couldn’t care less about such things, but hey, the girls around him do. I’m again amazed how they always manage to fit any or every segment the author wrote for Ayanokouji and Karuizawa together, when they’re so okay to leave many important things aside, like they did with that conversation between Manabu, Nagumo and Hashimoto in training camp. Just a 10 second clip here in this episode won’t redeem anything lol. Though again, it being valentines, rizz lord being rizz lord, he got chocolates from Karuizawa. That conversation with Hashimoto felt so out of place and unnecessary, but yeah it was always that way, and that’s just Hashimoto’s character. As for Ichinose, she’s still holed up in her room. Though, I liked how these rumours became the talk of the town the moment someone posted them on their online bulletin board sort-of… … as for who posted them, we all can guess. Heck there’s one about Ayanokouji liking Karuizawa too lol. Also hey, they didn’t finish this volume in this episode itself, and that's genuinely a surprise. |

| Normally, in a Valentine theme episode, you'd expect a lot of joy and celebration. Not in this anime though, especially for Kei. All the mind games aside, she even got pushed into a corner. I do think pairing up her and Ayanokoji this episode is an interesting choice due to their contrasting personalities. Plus, he even comes to visit her when she got sick so it set up more chemistry between the two. Too bad about the drama in class...some people just loves to taunt others. |

| Kei wanting to meet Ayanokouji all of a sudden, what's her deal with him? Conspicuously, it's the Valentine's Day season, which the boys are expecting chocolate from the girls, though Hirata sure got as much totes as he usually does. Miyabi's investigation on Ayanokouji continues as he does with Kei, though asking her out on Valentine's of all days, he needs a confirmation on an unknown number. And other than that, it's night-time study group with her, though she gives him chocolate that was supposed to be meant for Hirata, out of knowing that Ayanokouji is not the romantic person he is. As expected, Ayanokouji already knows that Class 1-A's Hasimoto is spying on them, though he keeps it subtle by playing the Valentine's card, which Kei follows up while making this convincing for him. Though Hashimoto sure acts like a creep, Ayanokouji sure got as much chocolate as he could, while visiting Class 1-B's Honami out of the safety of her sickness and her privacy as well from the rumours. The next day, the rumours all swell up into one hellhole of a mixed situation, though this is creating quite the craze that destroys the class unity within seconds. Can the spread of rumours be ever quelled before it gets uglier? |

| @Softhenic03 They leave out so many conversations and backstory that I really wonder how people that aren't familiar with the source material can follow. People just suddenly turn at places with nothing more than a glance to go on. I wonder if maybe we'll get something in the form of flashbacks in the next episode to give some context to some of the situations All things, said though, kudos to the production team for making Yamauchi even more unlikeable than in the LN. You really feel like reaching through the screen and strangle him. |

| Well, here we go again—animation is back to looking pretty shitty. Valentine's Day has arrived. The boys in Class C are buzzing with excitement, wondering if they'll receive chocolate. In the midst of it all, Karuizawa, uneasy about being summoned by Ayanokoji, finds himself unexpectedly meeting someone unexpected while talking with Ayanokoji at their rendezvous point, Masayoshi Hashimoto. The animation or art is kind of going downhill from this episode, I guess. Lerche only bothered to put in the effort for three episodes—seriously? And now, this episode is also outsourced. That delay didn't do much good. But, you know, Lerche/KADOKAWA didn't seem too invested in this adaptation from the start. Even for a Valentine's Day episode, this felt stale. On a brighter note, they're not rushing through this volume and are going back to the 3 episodes per volume formula, so that's a relief, I guess. |

| The lyrics of all 3 OPs are connected btw, they all talk about a "bird". I think it's really cool. 2:22 Interesting how both Horikitas' expressions change here. Might be some kind of foreshadowing.  The conversation between Ayano, Kei and Hashimoto was very interesting. It's like everyone is wearing layers and layers of masks. I guess Kei's excuse (Ayano giving the chocolate to another person) was her own idea? Ayano seemed a bit surprised to me. No way he got 5 chocolates lmao. And so many girls talked with him last episode. Ayano is getting popular! Yamauchi holy shit I'm thinking the person who posted to rumors is either Hashimoto (him being in class 1-A and all) or the person who was on the phone with Ayanokoji last episode Good episode. |

| For the life of me I’ll never understand how this show got so popular with anime onlies and is so highly rated. Like even if you haven’t read the books, the pacing and character motivations are all so lacking. Not to mention the shoddy art and animation at times like today.. I guess the overall story is what sells it since it is very unique. Just hate seeing my series butchered like this. Anyway, episode did an ok job of setting up some future conflicts. Lmao Ike asking Suzune for some tutoring and getting turned down had me dying. Bro will do anything to get closer to her. She was having none of it today. Speaking of getting closer, it’s Valentine’s Day and of course Kei takes Kiyopon asking to meet her as a sign he’s got something planned.. unfortunately for her, nope lol. Just needs to extract some more info out of her about that phone number. Poor Kei.. at least she got to give him some chocolate.. too bad for her it’s not the only chocolate he got today. Bro is getting so popular. Hashimoto made quite the appearance today, pressuring Kei like that. He thought Kiyo would step in and break it up, but nope. Kei was forced to use her own skills to get out of it. She’s definitely grown a little. Sick Ichinose is so cute. I love how considerate she is of Kiyo and her other friends. But it’s ok to rely on others sometimes too. And woah that ending.. rumours posted on the online message board threaten to tear the class apart.. conveniently just after they’d finally established some chemistry. Yamauchi is such a weirdo for attacking Shinohara like that though. Who says fucked up shit like that with no actual proof. Accusing someone of being a prostitute as a minor is just bizarro behaviour. |

| With Ayano and Kei, for the opening of this episode. On Valentine's Day, it's a special day for them because they have the opportunity to give chocolate to the people they like. And of course Kei will give it to Ayano. I feel sorry for Ichinose, it seems like she was very mentally down and ended up getting sick. And I'm also curious about who is spreading the bad rumors. |

| This might just be the lamest episode this show ever had, I guess the last 2 minutes were semi interesting. On one hand I wonder if an elite school like this would even let some prostitute join, surely they do background checks right? On the other yamauchi is just a dick and in an environment like this you also have to wonder how someone so socially inept managed it. So many characters, so many names.. So MC got 5 chocolates, but from who? Kei, Airi and? Ichinose has a cold.. since when?! Seems like the "she gets bullied with rumors" is not over yet. Honestly the prostitution stuff is the kind of rumor I expected, not just shoplifting like bro come on |

Also are you kidding me, what is with this stupid Yamauchi kid making such a big deal about rumors that literally anyone can make up??! Someone just make one up about him having a small D or something, big deal. So many of these characters butt into other people's business over the dumbest things and have zero brain cells. This is like elementary/middle school behavior. |

| It’s impressive how much of an annoying prick Yamauchi is. I don’t even remember him from the first two seasons, he’s so forgettable. Now he comes in this season being the most insufferable person possible. Assuming he’s being controlled by Sakayanagi, doesn’t make it any less true considering his reaction to her wanting to speak with him last episode. Interested to see where it’s headed as always, but man I really need to get around to just reading the novel. Feels like it’s definitely much better, with all the context and dialogue to really get a full grasp of things. |

| What the hell is wrong with Yamauchi? What a fucking asshole! Especially with Shinohara. I wanted to punch him myself omg. Kei as cute as always giving Valentine chocolate to Ayano. Although Ayano received 4 more besides hers huh. So Kei (who likes him), Sakura and Haruka from his study group and Sakura also likes him, maybe one from Satou who likes him too and the other maybe from Hiyori? I don't know. Ichinose my beloved :'( |

All of the rumors are true, and as for ayanokouji x karuizawa, sakayanagi got that from hashimoto, who thought he saw through their deception when he in fact didn't. The same is being done to 1-B. this is all conjecture. |
