Things are getting worse and worse, still pisses me the fact that neither King not Queen care about Arslan That certainly confirm Arslan is not the their legal son, possibly the queen is not his mother since moms can't be dead cold right? I bet Arslan will be devastated when he see how is the kingdom doing currently |

| Another great episode with some sweet action, sad to see Sam die right in the episode he gets introduced, seemed to be a cool dude. So If I'm not mistaken the king is still alive right, silver masked guy mentioned he escaped. Dat wallflip tho. |

| I was worried that a slave revolt would be the only or most major solution to capturing the city, it's good that it was shown that only a very small minority of slave protested and revolted. And with the reaction from soldiers, it's implied that the seeds of rebellion will grow but it was ultimately an infiltration that hit the Parsians the hardest. The only problem is that the show doesn't remind how much time is spent until the end. |

| I am quite sure the skimpy-suited female archer is the queen. If she is, then that is one really sexy queen. And I would really like to know why does she wear a skimpy outfit(& a sexy dress when she's in queen duty). There must be a reason. It would be really weird if she wears that outfit just because. |

| Am I the only one around who thinks that the pacing of this anime is problematic? It got 25 episodes,which is GOOD NEWS,otherwise I can't see a proper ending for this show. It takes 6 episodes to take Ecbatana down and throw Arslan completely off the throne. Wow. So he got the rest of the anime to? (the manga still running fresh) I admit that the anime is awesome(except the graphics) but the plot and pacing makes me unable to fully enjoy this show. Idk man it's just sad. *checked it's originated from a novel so no plot ending issue now **sorry for the rants |

| I am glad, I started this series, because I watched the one from the 90's which was an OVA, and DIDN'T LIKE IT ONE BIT, and I was afraid it will be like it, but this time the people that are making are doing AN AWESOME JOB. This episode was amazing. Can't wait to watch the next one. |

| While it may seem strange, I expected a twist similar; talking about the queen. His way of doing and being, did not fit with what was happening in the basement. Overall this episode is convincing, as is the performance of the heartthrob. Drawings not the best as beauty, but the set does not disappoint. |

| Love the episode! Very dark, but sometimes the decapitations and are too dark to see >__> Gieve seems to put up a good fight, managed to pissed of Silver Mask boy and all. Lots of high ranking officials died in this episode. The king should have abolished slavery tbh. Seems the Queen managed to escape to another secret passage that she probably only knew. I do wonder why she has no feelings to her husband the king and even Arslan. It'll be interesting how things turns out ^^ Can't wait for the next episode!! |

Do not worry about it. I find it dramatically slow,the way this anime tells the story is fast but the plot development is surprisingly slow,or shall I use the word "boring"? Maybe I shall not,but I can't help but feel it can be faster,surely the pacing is fast but there's way too much unnecessary scenes. By unnecessary scenes I mean scenes are drawn and animated badly and can't convey the message. All I see most of the time when fighting scenes started are a bunch of black dots messing around(army fights lol) or some faceless or stagnant face stickmen moving around and get poked and died(1v1 or CQB). About the graphics a part of my opinion is up there. The lighting control could be better. It's not helping even you're watching in HD format. The main characters look brilliantly,compare to random soldiers,especially gay Edward :D The CGI,which is known by everyone sucks so hard but I'm prepared so it's fine. Biggest problem is EVERYTHING LOOKS LIKE IT'S A GAMUT OF SOMETHING. Army fights,and the part in dungeon/tunnel is hideous. In the mean time I have put the series on hold and will watch it after it ends. Will be a long wait but hope it'll become something great like Steins;Gate or FMA. The're 18 eps more,please don't screw it up. |

O.o Also, to those who said that the episode was dark. It wasn't dark for me. I watched the episode on kissanime. Maybe you guys should find another site to watch it on. Compare to 90's anime for now is a global phenomena and is way accessible. It's no surprise that some mediocre anime(not saying it's Arslan) owns more "members" or "fans" than some classic epics. The number doesn't matter. Just promise you enjoy watching that anime. |
