| First episode starting of strong. Zero bad things about, aside of the annoying kid. Maybe some drastic personality change might make the kid tolerable, otherwise he'll hopefully disappear soon. |

| Let's gooo, goblin kino is back! It's great that the second season is finally on. It was so cool to see all those characters again, haha. Both the main party and other adventurers who had been introduced in the first season. Solid episode, though I wish the opening was better. The weakest point of it was that rookie caster. He was annoying as heck. I'd prefer to see that halfling adventurer from the beginning joining Goblin Slayer's crew, instead of that brat. Farabeuf said: Can we expect at least a minor improvement of him as a character in the next episodes? He was just as annoying in the manga as well. |

| I'm not sure how I felt about that, it was nice to see all the characters again but it felt kind of like it took a few steps back from where we'd gotten too at the end of last season. |

| It's nice to see the silver rank gang back. Goblin slayer is still just as professional as ever. Still slaying goblins like the badass that he is. Priestess seems to be at plateau in her rankings. Until high elf archer suggested the idea of doing quests with obsidian and porcelain adventurers to climb through the ranks. That red haired rookie is really annoying and serves as a hindrance to the group. I hope he doesn't last long slaying goblins with that punk ass attitude of his. Goblin slayer should've not let him rest at his barn. |

I guess the audience needed a re-introduction to all of the characters after 5 years. I re-watched the first season and the movie right before this, so it was all fresh in my mind and it made this episode feel slow in comparison. We'll see how it all goes from here.

| Glad to see this show back, liked it to bits back in 2018. Not a huge fan of the new brat but hopefully he won't drag things down moving forward. I wonder if he's related to the wizard girl from the first episode of season one. |

| idk how i felt about that ending but the kid doesn't seem so bad; i bet he has his own reasons. i think this is a chance to advance both characters. i'm still disturbed by some of the imagery but it is important to the story; i just wish they would tone down the rapey stuff. |

New studio animation is garbage, looks like some stereotypical trash isekai that is rated 5 or under. I know that they skipped stuff that was in the manga in the first season, but adding in a bunch of dialogue to the start of the second season that doesn't exist is cringe. I love Goblin Slayer so this is disappointing. Imagine wasting an entire episode on just dialogue with no goblin slaying 💀 What is up with trash anime studios taking on a good series & running the animation into the ground e.g Seven Deadly Sins, One Punch Man etc

The new studio really dropped the art quality by way too much, if this keeps going I am going to lose so much motivation to continue watching this s2, it's so disappointing. The plot isn't as strong or exciting as s1 too, right now many things from this ep tell me the anime probably won't end up well... it's sad. For the better or worse, I just finished watching the movie a few weeks ago, the disappointment from s2 is just super clear to me right now |

| dropped. This is one of my least favorite chapters in the manga, and combined with the new "looks" of the characters with bad animation. It's not really worth watching. fastest drop of the season. |

The recap… is that why I’ve seen people saying it’s got an traumatising start to season 2 or have they added another scene like this?😅 imma have to skip the recap coz fook watching that shit again lol

Season 2 starts with a short recap of the most traumatizing part from season 1.
At first, this seams like a stupid and unnecessary decision on the studio's part.
Anime onlys don't know it yet that the recap is related to the new character and there's a little bit of logic behind the studios decision.
| Thats cus anime onlies are usually dumb and buildup goes past their brains. We can already infer why they recapped the S1 first episode from what S2 first episode showed. |

| I guess the new mage has some sort of plot armor, because with that attitude he will be dead in two episodes. Overall, I liked the episode, though I didn't see the reason for the reenactment of the most controversial scene from this series. |

| That wizard brat doesn't know what's he's talking about. Everyone in the guild calling him out was pretty much telling him If you fuck around, you'll find out because everybody there experienced how terrifying goblins could get if they organize. Anyways... It's nice for GS to be back. I'm just gonna miss the color tones and lighting effects the previous studio utilized. Everything done by this current studio looks vividly outlined with bright colors conveying serious and dramatic scenes would be difficult. |
