| The animation truly looks great. The ape titan looks fucking imposing. Im glad they are not letting the quality slip up. |
| I had to read discussion yet, there is certainly something about skipping Reiner and Ymir scene. But first to anime episode. That scene with Garrison shooting titan with cannons. That really triggered me. Like they used blind shots or why it only made sparks? That was cheap animations saving, really cheap. And I probably forgot second thing, but I think its about castle nobody knows about. Like really? Are walls that big? They just checked one whole quater of wall in one day. That really bothered me in manga, because they apparently found there some more than hundred years old conservas. Its plot hole. There's no other explanation. Thats probably why they skipped Reiner's and Ymir talk. At least in this episode. But they did make clear that it happened in anime as well. |

| For a second I thought the name of the girl the priest gave was the new character ... Riko. Considering there's no hole, they either plugged up since they already told us the walls are basically titans or all the titans that are inside all have a human form like Eren and Annie. Now that I think about it, the titan that couldnt walk, on top of Connie's house, it said welcome home and Connie even said, "my mom". - So somehow the village people have been made into titans!? That would also explain why there was no blood, all the horses still being there in villages etc. Had goosebumps all over with the soundtrack near the end, taking me back to S1 :D |

| I realized now that I dig this show. I think it's fairly obvious now that the Titans inside wall Rose are, well, ex Wall Rose residents. And it's no secret, for us at least, that Titanization experiments have come a long way now, seeing how they might be able to talk now and move at night. Is Beast Titan really an enemy? If there's an organization wishing humankind to turn to Titankind, then it might be safe to assume that the Beast Titan could once be part of it, seeing how it has intelligent thinking and stuff, but him not knowing about the gears seems to put him in a position where he was not linked to this for a while now. Might he be targeting the core of humankind now? The inner walls? |

| If there is no breach, then all of those titans were humans... Is the Beast Titan going around infecting people and causing them to transform into primitive titans? Did the titans originate from some experiment gone wrong? What was Ymir reading that had Reiner startled? Is she monitoring Krista? Is she part of the Order of the Walls? |

| The suspense and the hype from this episode were well built. More interesting things such as the titan who said welcome home, Ymir's reasons to stick with Krista, Krista's family and why she's important are teased. I don't know what'll come next, but I sure know that epic battles are going to show up! She's cute! ~Armin |

| so far it feels like this season has been a lot of build up and introducing a lot of new ideas, and i can't wait to see how they tie them all together!! what is the beast titan? how can some titans talk? was all of connie's village turned into titans, and if so, how? what is the deal with the wall priest and krista? and ymir? also what role does sasha have? should i let myself get attached to any of these characters because they will probably die? it is all A Lot and they definitely know how to build tension also there is something suspicious to me about how reiner yelled at connie to leave instead of letting connie explain he heard the titan speak.........? also also where is jean? he hasn't shown up yet has he? |
| I wonder if Sasha and Hange are related, they are so similar. So Krista is someone important, wonder who she really is. And no hole in the wall. This just support the theory that these titans are all humans transformed. |

| I liked the episode, I don't really have strong feelings about it like the last one. As always, horse simulator, but that not a new comment from me. Some of the animations in this episode felt a bit weird, like the part they were in the dark with the torches. I wouldn't say that it was "bad animation" but rather stylistically inconsistent. That's a theme that I'm getting a lot from this season. Stylistic inconsistencies. It doesn't feel as cohesive as season one. The moment when pastor nick is seeing all of the faces of the poor displaced people, I can't help but think that it was a scene that probably worked slightly better in the manga. The contrast of the still images, which looked fantastic, of the people's faces in contrast with his vibrating pupils felt off. Again, stylistic inconsistency for me. I don't have a whole lot to say for the plot of this episode. I think that the first two episodes were pretty strong, but this felt very stagnant. For a season that mostly will fit within a twelve hour framework, this feels very odd. When three episodes are done, we have barely passed an hour of narrative time. While I understand that episode one and two happened basically simultaneously, and I respect that decision, episode three feels slow in comparison. I am a bit worried for how the series will manipulate time for here on out. It could be that the rest of the season will be action packed and we will barely feel the time slip away, or it could all drag out. The quote of the episode for me is "All of humanity, digested as one." |

| Damn Connie is almost going to break right thereafter hearing something unpleasant and a possibility that he can't imagine This build-up to a big fight is so exhilarating and gives me anxiety especially the scene where they're traveling at night is so restless The reappearance of the beast titan gives me chills and they're fending for their lives while Eren and the others are traveling all the way there. |

| damn kinda sad to see connie had to leave his village like that, he didn't even get any answer to whether that titan was actually his mom or not, and if yes, how did she turn into a titan. im guessing someone is injecting them with the substance eren was injeced with by his dad. if this is true it would mean eren's dad is bad and is part of group responsible for creating titans. the wall wasn't even breached so i think its safe to assume the titans were somehow created inside the bounaries of the walls. the op and ed still fucking slap. very nice |

Interesting to see if Ymir actually a good side that protect the one that must be monitor, or the bad side that leading all the titan to them. Sasha relayed a message to Hange, what did it say? _______________________ REWATCHING THE SERIES 05.15.2023 Looking back, I can't believe how slow I was. How did the Titan speak to Connie and no one else heard it? Ymir's character arc is truly special. You can see her frustration when Christa is happy that she isn't there for her.  Hange and Armin are smart. Even the priest felt defeated. Ah, finally the priest gave a clue to Christa. Reiner was shocked to see something Ymir did. OH SHIT. | Slower-paced MY ASS In the span of five minutes, the wall-worshipper priest guy reveals something about Krista, who they know to be on the front lines and quite possibly in danger, with Ymir, who we see Reiner seeming to question who she is and Ymir not exactly taking at well, before someone barges in yelling that they are under attack, to which they see a horde of titans surrounding the castle, at NIGHT when they are supposed to be immobile, and in the distance Connie spots the beast titan making its way up the wall (wall Rose which they were just looking at for the hole, looks like the beast titan's heading out, rather than heading inward in the direction of the capital, or maybe my sense of direction is all wack), definitely up to no good. And then we get the epic soundtrack blasting once again as scouts ride out to secure Krista. But the best part of the episode? It's |

| Whether Reiner's empathy for Connie is real or not, I hope it's true. Like I said, the story of titan is like watching magic, things are only interesting when the truth is hidden. The orangutitan must be the one involved in this. Ymir and Krista, I expect another "No Regrets" from them. Oh my, Titan combined with the night is a nightmare. Interesting, there are no holes, proving that the titans that eat Mike's flesh are the inhabitants of Wall Rose. What about the orangutitan? Wow I love this mystery. Armin and Major Hanji should have been together from the beginning. Hope they become close friends. Mikasa can only fight and take care of Eren? Let her say something valuable. Remember that Eren's possession of the key has been made public. It's strange that no one wants to steal the key. I think it makes no sense to let Nick feel surprised or guilty. He was just a devout religious man. What did he do at Shigansina years ago? Hey, mother Hanji gave her daughter Sasha a potato. So cute~ An episode full of mystery. Why does Levi's leg hurt right now?! While Levi is cool, I have to tell you the truth: he's no expert at giving advice. One of AOT's very good storytelling eps. |
