Well, I thought this episode is an interesting one that showed Asura's story and how supposingly the character was born and their reason for being there. Asura and Kona definitely had an unique but also emotional bond.

As the episode is about children of the nursery, it focused on the kids there but also we got some more explorations with a sense of mystery. Tokio's pregnancy relevation was a shock up the episode with a lot of emotions.

Tokio being pregnant wasn't something I was expecting.

We got to see a little of how that weird place/school was formed, but I still have so many questions, specially what actually caused the great disaster.

One glance and you could see it was not just appearance Asura was different in, she even had those kinds of special powers. But then killing yourself all of a sudden after stating she found the reason she was born… oh well they make things much more than a mystery every passing episode. Then there’s something going on with Mimihime too.

Though if everything wasn’t already enough we saw them taking Tokio under examination, just when a bunch of people in suits came there to make a deal with the facility. For Maru and Kiruko, that shady looking person did tell them a story, which might seem totally fabricated at first, but it was through that way they learned the origin of that gun mark.. Takahara academy. The same name of the facility we see these kids around in, which was there before that disaster. Pretty much confirms the happened in the past theory.

Didn’t expect them to reveal something like Tokio is pregnant.

You don't give the kids sexual education and than your surprised one of them is pregnant.
Still this probably implies that Tokio relationship has probably been going on for a while.

Anyway the storyteller wasn't very useful for our hero's he didn't help out much he just wanted money,
But searching that office beiling wielded some results.

Man the suspense and mystery of Heavenly Delusion gets me every week 😩 I want to have all the answers now, but they spoon feed us just enough to keep us hooked on this and looking forward to next week. Some of the best pacing and writing I’ve ever seen in this medium, I just hope the reveals are as good as the build up, this could be generational.

For a bunch of white coats with Ph.D.’s, the Takahara academy directors are pretty stupid. Even without sexual education human children are curious and will learn about sex themselves. It’s a natural biological function

Unless something crazy happens I think it’s obvious Tokio is Maru’s mom so seeing what happened there is gonna be exciting.

I’m curious about the flyers too. If they were advertising the academy in plain sight like that, were the kids not born with abilities and just made that way in the facilities 🤔

I actually thought the storyteller’s breeding story was true at first, I’m like damn I wish that was me lmao.

This episode pretty much confirms that the events in the facility (Takahara academy) are set in the past. Maru being Tokio's son is more probable than ever as well.
I really liked that storyteller for some reason, would gladly listen to more of his stories even if they're not real lol.

Finally got some Asura backstory, they give us 1 answer and leaving us with 10 more questions.

Damn that freaking storyteller just scam us and wasting our time for nothing.

Tokio being pregnant, i'm not really surprised at all tbh.
come on, Tokio being Maru Mom is just too obvious at this point lol

Got to see the tragic backstory of Asura and Kona and how Tokio became close to Kona. More mysteries appear. I thought that the information gut might be telling the true stories, but they were fake, and he also took our money. More stuff came out about Takahara Academy that the logo represents.

And, Let's go, my theory about Tokio being pregnant was correct. And, Maru looking like Tokio is also telling me some future things. Things are getting even more interesting. Can't wait for more.

so the kids heaven facility is called takahara academy eh and it was from the past

while Maru and Kiruko are in the present day or future

i guess Maru is Tokios son then

and Asura definitely is not dead and they must have something to do with the Great Disaster

Some questions were answered last episode, but this show sure loves springing a bunch of new questions on to us the very next episode doesn't it. I'm all for that honestly, love this style of mystery and intrigue. The most interesting things this episode were definitely Asura hanging from the top of the nursery, and Mimihime being able to see it, as well as the storyteller having a picture of what seemed like Asura's silhouette or something of the sort. How much of what he told was truth, and how much of it was fabricated? While Kiruko and Maru might not know, us as viewers probably will think it's definitely not completely fabricated.

While the nursery is the source of many questions, Kiruko and Maru search for answers, as they found a branch of the Takahara Academy, which had that peculiar symbol found on the Kiru-Beam as well. If this isn't confirmation of the nursery being in the past, I don't know what is.

And then, the not-so-shocking moment comes as it is revealed that Tokio is pregnant. Who is the father? Find out on the next episode of Maury! I mean Maru, oops I mean Tengoku Daimakyou...

Yea knew Tokio was gonna get pregnant. So one of the the facility's goal was to not let the children find out about gender and sex but they did it anyway. I mean ofc it's just the natural. Also I'm guessing the one helping them out is Asura. Mimihime can see her there after all.

I wasn't a big fan of the new director looking out the window at Tokio and knowing IMMEDIATELY she was pregnant lol. Okay.
I'm intrigued by the bird pictures now and how Asura is a resemblance of the birds and that Picture that the scammer had.

This is why you give adolescents sex ed guys. They're bound to find out about sex anyway, so it is better to give them the proper education. If they are left to find out on their own it leads to problems like learning the wrong things or as in the show, not being knowledgeable about certain information.

Well this episode practically confirms that the children facility storyline is occurring in the past. That shady storyteller was funny but didn't really contribute to what Maru and Kiruko were searching for. In a way though, he at least did help them get some kind of lead on Kiruko's gun's symbol.

The real big moment of the episode though was finding out that Tokio is pregnant. Aight I see you Kona, bro out here not pulling out 💀 Tokio is definitely going to end up being Maru's mother, same face syndrome and everything lmao. The mysteries keep piling up and I'm loving it.

The guy that told stories, it looks like it may have been a combination of truths mixed with lies. Also, just as it was theorized in previous episode comments Tokio is indeed pregnant and Maru is (most likely) her son. I think it may be Asura that has been manipulating the cameras and other technology to prevent the kids from being caught.

I noticed that Mimihime could see Asura hanging from the ceiling, I'm wondering if they will show how she got infected and lost her eyes (assuming the girl that was hooked up to machines to keep her from turning into a man-eater in the previous episode was her).

This episode had more information that it seems at first glance (again, zero exposition, if you want to understand pay attention and think for yourself) but not that much, it was a "slow" episode.
However also a typical "calm before the storm" episode.

So, the big problem that happened was promiscuity and juvenile pregnancy, this is what destroys civilizations folks!
Jokes aside... I wonder if this "Takahada Academy" is at it's core a religious fanatical group "trying to reach God". They seem to have get close with Asura, that transcended her body if I understood high. Seems like Asura in the end was what caused The Calamity. But why? For what what reason? For what purpose?
With her mind powers she just got a look around what the Academy was and what was happening around the world and decided she didn't liked it and decided to, like a "god", give punishment and restart civilization?

Edit: the missing piece is, that Academy is bringing grown kids from outside to the Academy? How this works? How they interact with the kids who lived there since they were born?

This is again another example of what I had commented before.
No one have the full picture of anything, everyone is working with fragmented and localized information. The story about he being held at that place run by women, while obviously a lie, it's probably based on true but distorted facts. The facts became a legend.
The first story about the cause of the Calamity contained the precious bit of Asura's spirit roaming the world before it happened.
He had more stories to tell and those stories probably also had some bits valuable of truth to them, but no one will ever listen to all his stories, no one will ever have all the information necessary to fit the pieces of the puzzle. But moments like this helps to give us viewers the necessary information we need to tread the thread of the episode.

The man with the van was a parody of an old Japanese performance art called Kamishibai (paper theater). It was basically a street performance where a man with a prop would set up outside and tell stories with visual aids on paper, usually to children. It was popular in Japan in the 20s - 30s before radio and TV were prevalent there.

ah, i see. because this whole time i had been thinking what they were looking for Was the facility, but maru being tokio's son makes sense actually. before everyone thought they were siblings, but how would one end up inside and one outside? super curious to see if the facility is the cause behind the fall

Asura is a alien and lived with Kona before taking his own life, rip to Asura. Juuichi is there to waste Kiruko & Maru's time but maybe some part of it is the truth. The academy or something was literally behind the truck.

Everyone coming in for a meeting because Tokio is pregnant, well that was a surprise for everyone.

After this episode a past "theory" is dead.
The one about the IA that control Takahada Academy being the culpry for it's fall. We now can safely assure that it was Asura all along hacking the computers.

Talking about Asura... maybe this name isn't by chance?
Asura is a type of "semi-god" in Hindi religion. Not a "god", but more like a "super human" that can or can not be bad or good. It's ambiguous, each one can do good or do harm. But it seems a common characteristic is that they "greedy"? Power seeking beings? If we apply this optic to our Asura...

Another thing that may not be a coincidência is her appearance.
Now, lets not reduce it all to "she looks like an alien". I think she looks a just a bit like someone with Hydrocephalus, but again, that someone could look at her and think she looks like an alien may not be unintentional. And again I point to the marvelous storytelling of this series and stories Juichi told. Maybe the cause of the calamity is all the three possibilities? Maybe there are really aliens and the research on Takahada Academy involves alien lifeforms?

And a final detail, in the beginning of the episode it was Kona who cut Michika's leg. It was the "sword of light" he visualized that hurt her, so he is more "powerful" than we had suspected.

Asura seems to be a Grey. This fact adds perspective on the Takahara Academy's work and, who knows, its consequences. Bluntly put, someone played God and screwed the whole thing up.

That girl can see the alien looking person under the roof still. She was able to talk to the artist boy even after she died, maybe she's still alive somehoww? Kind of sad to think a lot of these mysterious probably won't be answered in the anime's run time. It'll be hard to read the manga version after this. The animation and backgrounds are really nicee.

Eyyy we now got the name of the facility and with it one more thing that seems to point to the story of Tokio and the rest taking place in the past. Also young Tokio acting all shy around her crush was kinda cute, but I do wonder why she cut her hair when she grew older. Surely making us believe she was a boy isn't the only reason for it?
