| Lol Thorfinn likes the kind Snake after all. Pretty wholesome. Too bad he had to put his oath on pause for that confrontation. Hey, at least they didn't kill eachother. Wow, Ketil is a much bigger asshole than we knew. It's partly not even about the fact that he beat up his slave, but more so that he's such a coward that he can only hit his female slave who is tied-up. And worst of all, she was pregnant with his child. You thought she can love you? You enslaved her! Delusional old man. |

| Where's the fucking reunion? After years those two finally meet again and we don't even get to see their reunion. Apart from that the episode was amazing as always. |

It makes absolutely no sense, how this random dude from a farm (at least to our knowledge) is somehow able to beat multiple trained warriors. Thorfinn thinks he's doing the right thing, but he's literally helping a murderer escape. A dude that had no reason to kill the people going after him. The only dude that's logical in this show is Snake. And I'm in agreement that the reunion has to be the biggest anime letdown of the season. From episode 1, everybody has been looking forward to the reunion of Thorrfin and Leif. And yet it's completely glanced over. Yet somehow, they can make the time to give a murderer (Who we've known for like 3 or 4 episodes) a 12 minute death scene with loud ass piano music in the background. SMH. truth bro! even in the latest episode it felt like It didn't even matter that Leif found thorfinn. it's all just about helping this dumb bitch who got the shit kicked out of her and is about to die.....stealing her away somehow......so dumb I think this is the last season I'm watching. I don't need to see the sail to Canada arc or whatever comes next |

| 3.5/5 Well that escalated quickly. I wasn't expecting Kettil to go off on Arnhed like that but here we are. The animation was particularly pleasing throughout the episode although the same cannot be said for the content Canute is slowly but steadily making his way to the farm. He looks calm & collected for something that is destined to get a bit messy. Thorgil is bloodthirsty at this point but the same cannot be said for his little brother. He looks dejected and done with his aspirations. Thorfinn and Einar continue to ponder their decisions, the former coming to terms with their inability to curve violence but wanting to mitigate it Kettil is distraught by the news of what had transpired in his farm immediately goes to blow off his steam onto Arnhed, which was very hard to watch. He pretty much looses it and takes all of his anger out on Arnhed until Snake intervenes. Lief offers a buyout of Arnhed but it's clear that Kettil won't let go both as a lover & a slave owner. Einar is pissed while Kettil is all in for the inevitable battle~~ |

| Ouch, poor Arnheid. She had to take all rage, sadness and despair that Ketil stacked in his heart. Arnheid's escape attempt was the last spark to unleash his negative emotions. Ketil's venting aside, I hope we will see Thorfinn and Leif's reunion in the next episode. I know this episode was centered more on different things, but come on. Omitting it by "making it happen off-screen" would be lame as heck. |

| Wow, how brave of Ketil. He finally lives up to the name "iron fist" after beating the shit out of a defenseless woman. The tension during Ketil's breakdown was out of this world. While he seemed more benevolent as a slave owner, that was only when he had the luxury of doing so. I think we're finally seeing his true colors now that his prized plantation is on the line. This season keeps driving home how brutal & humiliating slavery truly is. Every time I feel like it's made its point on the issue, it comes back in a flogging rage to show how vile human nature can truly be. |

| What a brutal episode man. That beating was so unwarranted and out of the blue. You'd think Ketil was different in a hellish world, turned out he was only a few twitches from revealing his true persona. |
| Damn, what a brutal episode. That was way too much. I can't imagine how Ketil could just beat her that badly. Even Snake who suffered the most loss (by losing his men due to her actions) didn't do anything cruel or unfair with her, whereas Ketil lost his shit. I can understand the situation and the circumstances that lead to this but still, how can someone have such low restraint? I hope she'll be alright. Einar and Thorfinn are officially free to go. I think Pater was asking Lief to buy those two kids who tried to steal in earlier episodes. He probably wants them to live a normal life. They are getting geared up for battle. |

| Even though the show tried to humanise Ketil, who's a literal fucking slave owner capitalising off people's hard work which they're doing under dire circumstances, he's finally shown his true side after the tides seem to be turning against him. He's probably the best possible slave owner you could get, but the thing is... he's still a SLAVE OWNER. People are NOT property. By the end of the episode, after the harrowing abuse scene of Arnheid, Ketil refers to her as her property. He's obviously a piece of shit, and iike Thorfinn said, violence should be the absolute last resort. It's not something you do because you feel backed into a corner and feel abandoned because your favorite slave tried to leave. An excellent episode and I can't wait to see how this arc ends. |

| Ketil have officially became mad. Tbh, it is so scary how much can a person change. It is one of the things I've witnessed within this anime. Canute, Thorfinn and Ketil. Man these guys are no longer the person the first time I met them. They've changed a lot you can't recognize them anymore. |

| Here I thought Pater was a blind man. Lol! Just like Berserk's Serpico, his character tends to close his eyes. Weird! I was so emotional watching Einard's reaction to Arnheid's condition. He loves her! He truly loves her. And it was a selfless love because he was willing to let her go so that she could be with Gardar. That's the difference between Einar and Ketil. The latter only sees her as his possession in my opinion. I can't wait for the war! |

| Ketil is a rather easy person to understand, he tried to be as friendly to his slaves as he could, so he feels even more betrayed now by them. Good news for Leif though, he can just take Thorfinn and Einar with him and get the fuck out of there. |
| i almost couldn't get through it. this show is so well written and presented that my body coiled like it could feel every hit i never liked ketil because it doesn't matter if you're "nice" or whatever the fuck, you're still stripping ppl of their humanity. i find it could be considered even worse than being a cruel piece of shit from the get go, bc when you justify your actions by being a "kind" slave owner then you can't even see how cruel that very action is |
