| I was very impressed with the first episode and had mixed feelings about the 2nd, so I’m really glad with the advances we had in this episode! Hugh’s challenge - his proposal seemed to have more to it than just a game or trick. I hope he’s an interesting character (maybe the one to unmask Jonas if he manages to get to Lewiston?) in the future. Shall/Challe backstory - I loved his origin story in the 2nd ep and although it wasn’t as magical now, it was very sweet to see he and Anne bonding. As someone said here, he might end up as one of my favorite characters if the anime goes right. Jonas betrayal - thank God! He’s a really annoying character and I hope he won’t be as central as he was in eps 2 and 3. Also, I think is very pedagogic to have an accurate portrayal of stalkers - acts “nice”in an uncomfortable manner, obssessed, has no care for Anne’s free will and as soon as he feels rejected he explodes. Also, I really like the action bits in this show and I hope we get more of it. Plus, Mithyril’s escape could lead to some interesting paths. And, of course, my favorite moment of the episode: Shall/Challe saying “I refuse” and sticking to Anne to protect her life 🥺♥️ My hopes for ep 4 are high after this :) |

| while it's tabboo for humans and fairies to eat together (fairies don't even eat, they just absorb with magic lol...), but there are many people who don't mind it lol Challe is indeed too beautiful, but he is still a warrior, and he will easily kill that guy if he needs to :D as a sorry, they get a good deal, make some sugar candy and get free lodgings Jonas wants to work to the royal place, this guy dreams big lol that will take a lot of work tho, so have fun with it he is back to trying to marry Anne, it doesn't hurt to try i guess, and at least she didn't say no right away, she just didn't want to discuss that now, she has a job to do i thought those arts looked great, but apparently they didn't have enough soul put into it, maybe they will use this bad scene to learn more wonder if they will make him eat his work in a future episode during a competition lol seeing Challe trying to cheer up Anne was unexpected, but he for sure knew what to say, saying how she will improve in both looks and skill soon ... he just knew it, since he once knew a girl that looked like Anne, a girl called Liz, who was later killed by some other human ... i wonder if Challe killed that human after Anne is interested in the fact that Challe once had a human friend, as much as he doesn't want one now (i mean, humans did bad to him by killing the girl and turning him into a slave), but Anne will try her best to make him feel happier Anne sugar is missing, and Cathy is trying to make Mithril into the culprit tbh, we remember Mithril was in the carriage when she found him last episode (or maybe in ep1, whatever), but would he steal it? Anne started doubting him, so he ran away disappointed thankfully, there's hope in fiding more sugar apples, let's hope theres some left and they weren't all bought by some random person who wants to win the competition by force oh they found them... and that's a lot, did they need to take so many? looking at her mother's plans, and remembering that she shouldn't copy other people's works, Anne is in trouble with ideas meanwhile Jonas tries to kiss her, just to get slapped and leave... lol rip Cathy seems to be in love with Jonas, it would be great if it could happen, but i can't even start to imagining Jonas liking her lols also, how is love between them? i guess Anne and Challe have somewhat close enough size to be together, but Cathy is like 10x smaller, i guess they could still have fun together but... lol as usual, i think this art piece looks beautiful, but i wonder if it's still a copy from her mother's work or if it's something Anne also put some thought into Challe can smile huh is it because Anne reminds him of Liz? WHAT THE HELL that ending are you freaking serious right now? he even sent wolves to attack Anne ... what a freaking asshole i really hope they catch him next episode and stick a blade up his ass, holy shit lmao |

| Wow that betrayal.. such an ending. I'm glad Challe stays with Anne to protect her instead of chasing the sugar confection. Though it was beautiful, hopefully she remembers the advice the other guy said. Technique is just a certain skill but it's about what you make not what you can make. I'm also sensing some special connections between her and Challe and I totally ship it ^^ |

| Agh, so annoying..Jonas is in the opening and ending so I hope we are going down a path of no punishment for him. Forgiveness and let the past lie, that attitude is just not ok. Yes Anne has a warrior fairy but that doesn't excuse setting wolves on her just to steal because his pathetic self can't make worthy art. Please none of the make up and be friends route here. Impressed Chelle didn't let her die and take back his wing and poor Mithril being accused. |

| So... if you think about it Challe's existence kind of is a companion fairy. He was born to support Liz. Do we think Salim is a fairy (even though he had normal ears?) No surprise that Jonas was sus (although I feel like I was less certain in the novel whereas they made it super obvious here..) Super cute that Challe grabbed onto Anne at the end, although I assume it's so she won't get separated. |
| Okay, never mind. It turned out Liz was the one, and she is also no longer alive. Both Anne and Shall experienced the death of someone important to them. And wow, Jonas. I get that you did not take Anne's rejection well, but you are just burning everything to the ground. |

She can't use the silver sugar in those 3 barrels, because she has to bring 3 full barrels to the Fair, but she still had 2/3 of 4th barrel full - which is what Jonas stole. And now she needs to use silver sugar from 3 barrels for the candy and make more silver sugar from the sugar apples to fill the 3 barrels again. |

| The Jonas betrayal was a lot more brutal than I was expecting. It added a new layer of depth and that really brought up my rating. |

| Jonas was pretty much trying to hold Anne from achieving her dreams every which way possible. I really thought the Gordon Ramsey critic who smashed her creation was the Asshole, boy I was mistaken. |

| What a HUH moment (and at the same time, not really surprised?) So I wonder what Jonas' aim is for following Ann. He really wanted to propose to her/bring her back, but if she refused, he'll get her killed/steal her creation? Despite the serious situation, Ann ordering Challe to retrieve the sugar candy and Challe firmly refusing was somehow amusing. Meanwhile, Challe being mistaken as an older brother by Liz :( he was not a warrior fairy and even built a good connection with a human. |

| Jonas is a damn joke. I knew he couldn't be trusted!! At least the story is ramping up, Anne piece also came out stunning but now I'm worried about it's fate just like her. |

| It really surprised me when Challe "comforted" Anne. And I was even more surprised he talked about his past and Liz (and the feeling Anne got when she thought about it. If that doesn't mean something (:). Actually I was about to write that I somehow feel sorry because so far Jonas got rejected every episode (and here even more than once). But the stunt he pulled at the end really, really makes me mad (I knew I didn't like him but I didn't see this backstabbing move coming). I'd have expected something mean from Cathy but this is vile... What a cliffhanger. (I'm also pretty sure Mythrill wasn't the one who "stole" the silver sugar). Edit: If anyone plans on making a video about "Top 10 worst betrayals in anime" I hope this one is included. |
