| Pretty poor episode after a good start. I'm all for suspending disbelief for sake of enjoyment, but there were some things in there that really made me raise eyebrows or roll eyes lol... Spider making clothes and Vampire proposal/live here notwithstanding. |

| Haha, even God can make mistakes, that shows you a world that isn't quite perfect. That said, Machio's farming is coming along quite nicely, though there are subtle improvements to be done, like planting fruit trees and letting the dogs out so that Machio can explore new lands and discover new resources to aid his farm. The surprise visitor of a spider that is able to help turn pelts into actual clothing, civilization is upgraded thanks to the potato loving Zabuton. Of all the seasons past, the one constant that Machio doesn't have: salt, and a companion. Even more, the animals had babies along with them, so Machio isn't afraid of the many mouths to feed. Saving a little girl distressed in the forest, she's clearly a vampire sucking on blood to regain strength, though the dogs sure sniffed an enemy. Machio sure doesn't mind having his blood be sucked in any capacity, and Lu Lulucy is excited about seeing Machio's large land of crops, despite being chased out of her own circumstances for her own research. This chance doesn't come very often, and Machio's proposal for her to stay in his secluded village, he desperately needs a companion to converse as well: the first human villager. Slowly but surely, Machio's life begins to unravel. |

| Really enjoyable, laid back show, I'm a big sucker for chill escapist fantasies and this one is one of the best in recent memory, since I'd much rather get lost in a world where I can be self sufficient with a small community of loved ones rather than just get stuck in another big fantasy world where I'd have to fight for kings and stuff. |

| ok that God is an idiot, making mistakes 2 timesin a row with the same person... baka nano? thankfully, i don't think mc has a problem with the forest :D learning more about what he can do with his tool, growing whatever plant he wants is nice he also made some statues, i think that's a nice thing to do, since they helped him those dogs are smart huh always nice to have some animals company when living alone... the car thing is helpful, but it's funny when they hit a hole and are sent flying :D what the hell, that spider came out of nowhere and started making clothes, and even added symbols, damn, i guess he could easily make a fortune with these random things if he tried after all that hard winter passed, spring has arrived, and with it... a ton of extra dogs and spiders ... good thing that food is easy to get in that place i was wondering when we would meet one of the girls, and here we are the dogs sure scared her, poor girl lmao is she a vampire or something? dafuq? lol the dog sent her flying when she was acting smug, rip she just arrived and not only she sucked a ton of blood but she is already trying all the plants, that's fast development huh so her name is LULULULULULULURY or something, she's doing research on medical plants and she is indeed a vampire lmao that "live here forever" was kinda embarrassing "we can get to know each other while living together", usually it's the opposite mc likes dogeza, he would do good on that ecchi manga/anime "show panties with disgusted face" or whatever lols what the hell, that tackle... are you trying to make her small again? :v "you won't touch me if i look small" oh really? is that how it works? now that he got one new person, it's time to think about making it into a village, better dream big well, just like last week, i'll say this anime is a nice relaxing anime tho this week i wrote too much, so i wasted a ton of extra time, not sure if that's what i'd call relaxing haha |

| A spider just randomly shows up and starts making embroidered cloth. Based I just hope that the actual farming aspect of this show remains the focus, instead of throwing big-tittied-but-flat-charactered-waifus in our face. We got the first villager (or 30th, I guess) today, but I I'm not going to ever remember her name unless it is mentioned. I do like her built-in "FBI OPEN UP" feature though. I like how the first bite she took of that tomato was accompanied by a "crunch" sound effect. As far as I can recall, tomatoes don't really go "crunch". It's another world though, so who's to say. I really liked the first episode. However in my experience, the rest of the anime can be far more accurately judged by its 2nd episode. And if the rest is just more of your basic waifu collector simulator, it's probably going to be a drop for me. I'll be giving all anime that I chose to watch this season at least 3 episodes though, including this one. For now, all the wholesomeness and good vibes are enough to keep watching. "We don't actually need any seeds..." ...BECAUSE WE GOT SOME SEED RIGHT HERE BOIIII *ughn* |

| Upon starting to rewatch this (this time in dub format), it struck me that they may have been intimate that first night (which apparently fits with the source material). That would certainly have fit with someone not seeing another human, much less an attractive woman for half a year. Given her reaction the next morning, I would also fit with it being consensual but perhaps with him being a bit too enthusiastic/energetic. I also appreciate that he went from an accidental proposal to realizing she wasn't completely rejecting the idea and deciding when a good opportunity presents itself sometimes it is best to grab it and hope for the best. |

| What a comfy second episode, was even better than the first one, which is why I bothered to comment on this one instead of the first. Lu is instantly best girl material, what a catch, that scene was soo adorable to see~~ This might have been the most comfortable show I have seen since Yuru Camp back in 2020. I knew from this series way before it got an anime, and but it was seeing the anime that really made me want to check it out for good, and I m under the impression, outside the supposed cut "mature" scenes, this adaptation is quite good, so far enjoying it a lot. |

Did Hiraku just want another permanent villager or did that accidental "proposal" turn into a real proposal instantly, like this guy just falls in love with every girl he meets. This pacing is annoyingly speedy and devoid of any subtlety. Wouldn't be surprised if they have kids in the next episode. |
