| My God! Who'd thought having someone trying to talk the most intense thing this season? There are Anime about giant robots and fights and all but this is way more intense and I'm being serious. When she was about to speak a word, I was on the edge of my seat going: "Come on! Please, say something!!!" especially having that adorable face. |

| Alright that was better than I expected honestly. Animation looks beautiful. Komi's so elegant that her simps didn't even notice her shyfulness lol. NovaWorks did a great job handling this one. Will definitely wait for their releases. |

| I'm enjoying the show but it seems really exaggerated. Being shy is one thing but I don't understand how she was ever able to get through school if she literally can't speak a single word to anyone. You have to answer questions, read in class, sometimes read reports, it just doesn't seem possible she ever could have made it to this point. Can she even speak to her parents? Shouldn't her parents have gotten help for her by now, how did none of her other teachers ever notice? She should have been in therapy as a child instead of allowing her problem to go on this long. |

| Holy shit, the directing, the visuals, everything is just fantastically done. That was a fantastic start! I was holding off on reading the manga, but after that introduction, I am definitely going to read it. Komi is so earth shatteringly beautiful, that it backfired against her lmao, she thinks everyone hates her. That's kinda really sad, but our boy Tadano is here to save the day. It's only been a single episode, but the man exudes chad energy already. Didn't expect the school to be like this, to be full of eccentric weirdos lmao. Really looking forward to the next episode, though that depends if I can wait for Netflix again after this banger first episode. Might as well just sail the seas. |

| Okey first I thought this episode would be full of chaotic comical moments but it had it's beautiful moments as well. And I'm super hyped about the fact that they're dealing with a real problem that they're trying to solve. Social issues (also mental health) don't get enough attention so people don't really understand it. |

| Absolutely beautiful first episode. Had planned on watching on Netflix, but the huge delay in airing and the iffy subtitle presentation for text-heavy scenes put me off. Ended up watching this on Gogo, and whille the translations may've not been perfect (the line about helping find the other 99 friends), the presentation and way it matched the chalk was wonderful. Ending was quite an interesting turn. All the talk about it being a top, elite school. Yes there were a few different peoplle in the class, but it was put off as a minority. Seems the school intentionally works to get all the local oddballs concentrated into one school to see what happens :P |

The universe is collapsing, reality failing and people fainting, Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu is finally animated and it's here at last! The OP's visuals are fantastic, absolutely endearing, the music itself only complements it further, these style of OP is my favourite for a slice of life story and the OP nailed it excellently! The ED seems to be a one-off considering how it has no visuals, I'm sure we'll be seeing the actual ED starting next ep, but this ED itself is beautiful. Honestly Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu has the potential to be the slice of life anime of the year, given its level of quality that's already obvious from the get-go and its incredible popularity, it's at least a strong contender. Komi herself is already quite popular even a couple of years ago when there was never any news of this series being adapted, but the long wait has ended for here is the anime airing with all its glory! Tadano's first interaction and his chalk-text conversation with Komi is one of the most pivotal and iconic scenes from the manga, it's wonderful enough to read as it is, but this is where anime shines, the silent scribbling of words accompanied by the harmonic piano OST playing in the background are all simply gorgeous. Loving it! |

| Never expect i am starting seasonal so late, though, this is not the only one i need to catch up. But, oh well, here i am watching Komi, can't communicate, after get rid of certain other schedule. Mostly interesting idea, communication disorder school princess as a center. No wonder Komi get accepted to those private school in a fast way. Fuck the written test, when the teacher sees her react as cold as the arctic, even such a little tiny bits, or even the biggest, shall kneel before her. No wonder, everyone looked her wrong xd. However, there's one guy differ from the other. His name, Just HitoHito. Those Protag arrived with his greatest guess ever in his whole lifes, started a great journey on those relatively intriguing high school. Idk how much hardworkship he needs to achieve the goal, but, that's such a nicely done beginning of the series, of Komi, can't communicate.... |

I love the contrast between her usual cool face and her cartoony face similar to the manga. Something else I want to mention is the way the music is synchronized with Komi's scenes from the epsisod as I think it's well done. There's a quiet yet noticable chemistry between Tadano and Komi. I might've dropped the manga because eventually there was little progression on the friends thing, but I really enjoyed the first hundred chapters or so. Looking forward to this! And I say again, they're doing an AMAZING job with this adaptation. |

| expected one month to finally watch this opening episode after having discovered all those "Netflix can't translate" memes, and meanwhile i bought first two volumes of the manga having already decided to read them while waiting on queues before two anime cons opening doors, last october and two weekends ago. Not gonna lie, i lowered my expectations because at this point i knew what was going to happen at the very beginning, but this pilot made every possible right choice in the book. First... it stops before introducing every single supporting character, something i took for granted to happen immediately, and it was for the best with me not even thinking about it. Second... Komi and Tadano's scenes in front of the chalkboard became emotional very soon also because of the soundtrack. Third... didn't expect an insert song, it was good and had even better animation. Now... i'm hyped again. |
