You won't like things going further than. It's shigaraki's show from here on. You are in very extreme minority that have absolute garbage taste and don't like the absolutely amazing writing of villains and prefer boring one dimensional heroes.

Just because my opinion is different from yours doesnt mean its garbage lol, I'm honestly impressed you think these generic villains are well written. I actually don't mind cliche shonen villians at all but this arc just takes it too far.

They're not generic, they're far from it. Dabi's motivations yet to be shared in anime, he might seem generic, and Idk/remember anything about Compress however the thing about these other villains is that they all could have just as easily been heroes if their circumstances had been better and for some of them it's not even too late. Each with very different reasons for doing what they do.

Generic means "Characteristic of or relating to a class or group of things; not specific." However all of these villains have very unique and specific motivations that makes them far from generic.

I think what makes these villains so great is that it's easy to empathize with them. Toga wants to be the things she thinks are cute, her unfortunate quirk made her able to do that via their blood, but that makes her seem gross to others, so she is rejected, even though what she wants isn't really that bad, and it's only her current way of going about it that is wrong. Spinner follows Stains ideology which is that true heroes aren't in it for fame or fortune, it's about doing what is right, they to go about it wrong but their ideals are very heroic and it's easy to agree with their wish at least, Twice got screwed over by human BS and lost his life as a result, forcing himself into crime to survive, something happens to him that he kills his clones and then becomes scared that he isn't even the real version of himself, if he breaks his bones he will likely die, but even so he doesn't want to lose the family he's got, as he's already lost it all once, so he fights to keep them safe.

All of this very specific and not even often used, if ever. Dabi might disappoint you later but he's not that bad, and again Idk about Compress but the others are very well done, it's easy to feel what they feel and understand why they are doing what they are doing, even though we as the viewer (should) think they are wrong.

That's how most villains should be, you should be able to understand them and their feelings even though they aren't real. They feel real because they are well written and easy to empathize with.

Good episode. Still not a fan of how every non-League villain ends up just being fodder for Shigaraki but at the very least this time around he actually got fleshed out as a character.

As a finale to the season Shigaraki vs Redestro wasn't all that impressive compared to Endeavor vs High End. Not sure if it's because of how much they cut out or because of how easily Redestro lost once Shigaraki awakened but it just didn't have that oomph. Then again it might just be because of how anti-fun Shigaraki's insta-kill powers are.

MVA was pretty lousily adapted for the most part, what was done well was done pretty well but they cut out so much and didn't really expand on anything so even if the last few episodes were well done I struggle to say that it was well handled overall.

Easily the best arc this season, especially the last 2 episodes. Reignited a bit of the hype I felt for this series once.

I did not see this coming.

I really thought that once Shigaraki started clapping cheeks he was going to continue going until the entire Army was dead. But, things changed. Because Shigaraki remembered everything of his past he was able to become truly free. Re-Destro could see that and therefore he surrender and gave Shigaraki command of the Meta Liberation Army which has now fused with the League of Villains and has become the Paranormal Liberation Front. Much cooler name than the "League of Villains". That name was so tacky that I couldn't notice it until Daruma Ujiko made that comment in this episode.

Obivously with AFO's help Shigaraki is developing into the symbol of fear that he's wanted to be. I wonder how things would've changed if All Might or Gran Torino got involved.

This war is about to be crazy!

WHY WHY WHY did they change Shigaraki's dub voice actor this episode?

His voice is iconic and its been going on for 5 years, it doesnt even make sense for it to randomly change

So THAT'S why his hair turned stark white. A 2nd dose of trauma after the first time his quirk activated as a child. And more parallels between him and Deku, with the overuse of his quirk causing severe damage to his own body (with a familiar set of broken fingers and limbs). I hate how cool he looks now with that hair and pimp cape lmao

Clever move of them to drop "villain" from the new merger name. If you stop advertising yourself as the "bad guys" it'll be easier to recruit people to your cause.

I can't help but think about Kaneki, but nice episode, though I feel like Shigaraki doesn't have a reason to fight anymore and he's just doing it for the sake of doing it which isn't that great.

Not gonna lie, it would have been a lot cooler if Shigaraki and Re-Destro hadn't lost body parts. I want to see them fighting at their full potential, not in a weakened state.

Also, I feel like Re-Destro was wasted here. He should have been a major villain with no affiliation with Shigaraki - they would be seperate entities, both working towards bringing down the heroes.

And so Shigaraki's League of Villains turns from just a club of random stragglers to, well, an actual League, or rather, the Paranormal Liberation Front. He has now acquired a massive army (however, seemingly really weak) along with its leaders who have deep pockets. The doctor has now agreed to support him as well, probably in providing him with his super-nomus and the now-subdued Machia as well. Sheeeeesh. But most of all, Shigaraki has his memories back, and he knows who he is. Things are shifting and things are getting interesting, right at the end of the season. At least the set up is pretty much completed, and once season 6 does come around, we'll be diving straight into the action.

As for the next episode which is the last one, it looks like we're going to see our young heroes again whom we have left for 5 or so episodes.

This turned out to be the best looking episode of the 2nd half, weird to think neither Suzuki or Nakamura worked on it. (Makes sense I guess because they were working on the movies) Unlike other seasons, I honestly don't feel much of the final confrontation, hoping for a better S6. Re-Destro's characterization was so awful, good to see him being destroyed fast.

all for one really training shigaraki from the jump to be a stone cold killer. that's crazyy
he is the only that took him in or paid him any mind, so it makes sense that shigaraki feels so indebted to all for one. that's like literally his father figure.
so shigaraki is all for one's last name.. interesting factoid. i wonder if that detail come into play later.

it's kinda poetic how redestro is doing this for his father and predecessor destro and shigaraki is doing it in spite of his father, the very man he hated with his whole heart and soul.

redestro's power seems too weak to take on shigaraki in his leveled up form. even his ultimate move doesn't intimidate shigaraki in the slightest. redestro really underestimated what shigaraki was capable of. shigaraki turning up is basically what the liberation army aims for. he is the most liberated and free when he's destroying things and obliterating everything. i think redestro sees that and knows he's no match and that's what that strange sense of ease was that came over him mid fight.

'hey why were we fighting again?' lmao shigaraki wipes out the whole town of deika and forgets why

not redestro amputating his legs because shigaraki's power was too strong omg o.O
fucked around and found out
him bowing to shigaraki fslkjdfkjs the tables have fully turned and made their way back to their maker because omg what a twist
not giganti being brought to tears ksdfjlskjflksjfdjf have me laughing at the most inappropriate times

money really speaks and can change narratives and fully rewrite history. the way the deika incident was covered up so smoothly by the media because of redestro's power and influence is telling. the league will now have less worries and will be living lavish from now on i presume. this is the best thing that could've happened for them.

the rebranding to the paranormal liberation front is something. idk if i like it but i guess i dont have a say
new grand commander and god of this army is shigaraki.... now aint that something...

but yea with this newfound sense of liberation that shigaraki has gained, he's so op and he seems unstoppable tbh... heroes have a big storm coming
but it's crazy, even as powerful as shigaraki is now, he fiends for more at the hands of the evil scientist doctor eggman. what else could the doctor add on to him to level him up without turning him into a complete nomu? idk man sounds dangerous

Ah so that's why theres a league of villain inside Destro liberation army. They merge and make villain even more stronger than ever. I like how Giganto submit himself nor same feeling with Redestro. Great villain shall have their awakening moment to balance our op protagonist powerup right? Pretty cool decision, i guess.

So yeah, let's see how they wrap up the war in the incoming season. If that's how its suppose to be...

So as if Shigaraki did not become ridiculously over-powered already he is going to get even more power?! Wtf...
Would that mean enhancing his quirk further -to destroy an entire city like Tokyo perhaps, comrades included- or a second quirk?

I assume the evil Doctor plans to give him a second quirk. One, perhaps, that would work jointly with his native one.
Since the next episode is the last of the season I suppose it will be a "call to arms" episode, a prep for next season.

Shigaraki appears to be beyond redemption now...
But at least he is(?) still loyal to his comrades - though it is weird how he did not kill half of them when he fully unleashed his power...
