| This should have been a plain episode (a bit bland in terms of action although I suspect the entire series is pretty tame), but truthfully my eyes welled up with tears watching this. I'm trying not to draw connections to my irl fav idols...but oof graduation...new generations...working hard...broken dreams? All too familar this month. |

| I'm already loving Aquatope. It's only the beginning, but I trust P.A.Works can write a fantastic story. As for Fuuka, will the aquarium help her to come back to her idol dream? Or, will she find out a new meaning in her life? I'm looking for which path she will go. |

| Very promising premiere, I really liked it. The atmosphere is great, the art is beautiful and the scenery really is stunning. The soundtrack is fantastic too. I got pretty invested in Fuuka's character, Kukuruu seems great too. Really looking forward to this, I hope it turns out great. |

| It's an nice and modest start. Working tomboy and lost idol meet up, and this is the story that encircles their relationship and personal struggles and drama with life, love, and possibly more. The aesthetics generally look good as expected, though to me, it seems like CG has somewhat improved from the studio's previous shows, imho. Hope this PA Works original doesn't flop like Kamisama. For the most part, I've liked nearly all multicour PA work shows (sans the dogshit Kuromukuro series), so I'm cautiously optimistic for now. |

| So, Fuuka, who's pretty slumped out with her career, decides to visit a fortune-teller who then directs her to Okinawa. There she meets kukuru, a girl whose passion is in aquatic animals, and that triggers the start of their story! I adore these character designs with the classic P.A works colorfulness. Well, this show has a lot of potential! |

| This was a very cool first episode. The animation looks absolutely amazing, and although nothing crazy happened in this first episode, I was still very intrigued. I love how the characters have flaws, that's a thing I've noticed watching PA Works, they design the character to be hurting, and I think it just makes them seem more real. |

| Its been a while since I last saw an anime from PA Works. And oh boy. Its a good first episode. Really felt like a movie. Cinematic and Magical. Also, Fuuka is so pretty. Waifu material. Sasuga PA Works. |

| Idk how I missed that this was coming out today. Crunchyroll don’t update their release calendar until later in the day. It’s been wayyyy too long since we last got a PA original show, I believe the racing one was the last one, then kami-sama before that. So far so good, this first episode really showcased how talented the staff at PA are. It had movie quality and did a good job of introducing the girls. Already I’m getting sakura quest vibes from it. Really excited to see where this goes. This season is stacked with so much quality, great time to be an anime fan |

Was the center, but because her group member whined to the manager she gave in and quit herself. probably for the best tho since she gets to work in a sick ass aquarium now lol visuals are really pretty i love it |

| That was a really good and solid start! A story about a former idol but without the idols and a fish lover, I am sold. I wonder how supernatural this will be, that orange haired kid is definitely the Kijimuna. As expected of P.A. Works with their beautiful visuals and overall production quality, with 24 episodes I am sure this show will be great. I already really like the characters and story so far, so that is definitely a good sign. Looking forward to the next episode. |

Well, the final opinion of Russian anime critics was mainly the idea that cool animation and ambition are not enough to get a hit show unless you have a really interesting story and chemistry in the interactions of the characters. |

| I dont care for the 'no yuri' comments. This has shoujo ai vibes to me and we need a shoujo ai anime as there isnt much out there and it will be nice to see a new one. I loved this episode and the way the animation was done was amazing. I loved how the characters was portrayed and i liked that there was a sort of supernatural feeling. I hope the animation will keep up and it wont dip further along. Im looking forward to more of this show and i hope it keeps going strong! |

| didn't find it that interesting but it was cute and had a few fun parts (like the "math report" or the strange "God" (?) shrine creature eating the fish and stealing the hat) and ofc, a note to the pretty animation style like Amanchu (and from whatever video i saw from Asukara) edit: guess i forgot to mention other stuff i watched from PA like Iroduko and Glasslip that have this same animation style Kukuru seems like a good choice for my summer signature, if i keep up with the anime until ep 6, she looks the fun type of character i like for sure checking episode 2 before deciding that being said, not sure how i feel after Fuuka suddenly went to a random place, while so many people were expecting to see her at home lol |

It might be gay in the future, I don't know, but this show was not positioned as romance. |
