| Ishikawa with his one liners is kind of low key becoming the best character. “You win for best reaction” that was a pretty damn good reaction. Or coming out of nowhere and saying “WHAT A PLOT TWSIT” man this guy is mvp Dude this is my favourite episode so far with how much it actually made me audibly chuckle. But apparently they cut a lot of good stuff from the manga, which is probably evident in how trash the pacing is with just random events just occurring. You know what though? It doesn’t bother me one bit because I’m not looking for a story; if I was, I’d be really let down by its garbage pacing. But I don’t care, because just seeing these random events give me what I want: character interactions between characters I’ve grown to love. If this is not what you’re looking for, you’re may not be enjoying this. But it’s exactly what I want, and has made it so enjoyable that it’s my favourite anime of the season currently. This or mushoko tensei- it’s pretty close. I just like how it has the potential to go all overly serious and dramatic, but doesn’t go that route and still succeeds in remaining light hearted over all. People talking behind their back about their relationship? Miyamura doesn’t back down and say that they should split up because it would be better for her reputation. This is what usually happens in this scenario- at least with the romance anime I’ve seen. But he doesn’t do that; instead, he cleans himself up to prove that he’s worthy to be in a relationship with hori. What about this short chick that shows up out of nowhere?? Oh no, potential love triangle?? We already overcame the ishikawa one, very quickly thankfully, but now we have another one?! Drama time!! Wrong again, she’s just there for some quick laughs as she duels miyamura for hori-san, instead of the other way around. What a PLOT TWIST!!! Basically they could’ve gone the drama route. But no, they subvert the typical tropes and go for the fun and light hearted route instead. Maybe it gets serious in the future, and perhaps I’d dig that, but for now I really love it for what it is. Miyamura and hori’s dad need to get a room already. Oh dang, they did, wtf!!! Did miyamura really just suck that clay candy out of hori’s mouth; because “he stole my candy”... DAMN I just love when stuff like this just comes out of nowhere instead of having our two lovers spending five minutes looking at each other moving in slow motion. No way Jose, miyamura just goes in for the kill no hesitation. 10/10 anime |

| Yeah, now I'm finally starting to dig the adaptation more and more, even if the pacing is still a bit fast and chapters are being skipped to compromise for runtime. I enjoyed this episode a lot again, loads of little things were really good about Hori and Miyamura's relationship with each other in this episode compared to the first four in how their relationship was built up and adapted. |

| Things are zooming along; the entire episode was extrtemely dense, but oddly, it did not feel rushed. I think Sawada's VA nailed it. |

| Damn my man Miyamura just straight up YOINKED Hori's candy!! GOD DAMN BRO!!! The jealously and introduction of a new character was a nice spin to this anime. Hori's father continues to make me laugh. Damn i thought we would get another good kiss in this episode. Guess we'll wail until next week. |

| Man, that Sawada girl finally made her appearance. I remembered reading the manga and she's annoying as hell :/ I guess it's to be expected sooner or later... The scene where Miyamura stole Hori's candy from her mouth was very adorable <3 and the scene where both were watching the movie too X3 Great episode as always! :3 I was used to Miyamura's new haircut since I read the manga >w> always a handsome boy <3 |

| Some skinskips with the future father-in-law couldn't be so bad, right? Dang, the whole school are such annoying creeps, but hey, thanks to them, the short-haired Miyamuya finally made an appearance in the anime. He looks so cool.  Tho, for some of us long-haired Miyamura fans, it feels like this The whole scenes with the mysterious stalker, Honoka Sawada, is so funny hahaha. Please don't steal the precious Hori from the poor Miyamura, little kouhai. But above everything, she is a good girl, glad to see that she and Miyamura actually being good friends, Miyamura reminds her of his late-brother, some their interactions from now on can make her not as lonely again. And we finally have their first kiss, a clay-flavored kiss, sasuga Miyamura boy, you finally did it. Hori is left in daze as usual.   And tis is not enough, Hori begged for more pushing, more kiss, and more everything. Since she liked it so much (damn dad why would you interrupt them!) XD  |

| I'm not a manga reader, so I'm only judging the anime for what it is. It is GREAT. I seriously love this show a little more with every episode. I like to see how their relationship develops and how Miyamura's personality evolves and how he slowly opens up to his friends and acts more comfortably around them. I also like the humor/funny scenes and I think they fit in really well. Watching Horimiya really gives me a burst of joy. Looking forward to next week's episode. |

| Ah, just when this series was getting good, they introduced another troll character… I hoped there would be more of the delicate interactions that happened early on in the series — those moments were so cute! I guess there were a few moments this episode too, but the troll characters are getting frustrating now :(. |
| Finally Sawada shows up this episode, she may have some attitude but she is still cute! And omg Miyamura looks as hot in the anime as he was in the manga after he cuts his hair. And when Miyamura kissed and took the candy away from Hori was so cute. As always, I enjoyed this episode a lot and I loved it. |

| Some more nice moments between Miyamura and Hori as their official relationship begins. The candy scene and the scene after the horror movie stand out as the top scenes this episode. This anime likes to suggest a lot of sexual relationships between other characters and Miyamura especially, both gay and straight. It’s usually all in good fun, so it isn’t too bad, but I would prefer if it didn’t do so. |
| Fantastic episode! Wow, talk about news spreading like wild fire. They were only spotted leaving the same house and the whole school new within minutes. I mean that's fine and all, but the way they were badmouthing Miyamura behind their backs was so uncalled for. No respect for their relationship whatsoever. Miyamura cutting his hair, was a surprise but honestly, knowing the reason behind it. I really don't mind at all. I just love how he pretty much got every girl's attention with that move, which caused the ice-cold atmosphere in the classroom, but also made the girl Honoka appear out of the blue. What happend to her family is pretty sad though. I am so in love with the way Kyoko and her dad behave towards each other, it's so refreshing to see. She was so adorable, blushing in that room, at the point where they almost kissed again, for the dad to walk in again. The way she wanted to perform the scene from the horror movie was brilliant XD |

| This anime couldn't come at a better time since its Valentine's Day weekend. Miyamura spent the night at Hori's house and they left together at the same time to go to school. Now the whole school knows about their relationship. Miyamura cutting his hair and changing his look freaked everyone out. Sawada has come into the picture at first stalking Miyamura, but she actually has a crush on Hori. Seeing Miyamura interact with Sawada makes me think that they are brother and sister. Lol at Kyousuke cock blocking Hori and Miyamura at the last minute as they were about to kiss. |

| another great episode! all the rumors that happened when the school started finding out made me really angry LOL just because rumors are annoying and i felt bad for miyamura and hori getting badmouthed. the addition of honoka and i cant wait to see more of her backstory. i might have to pick up the manga since i hear they skipped a lot of chapters |

| Izumi's bond with Kyouko's family is now stronger, he's really considered as a family member. Bashers made Izumi cut his hair. He still looks good tho. That kiss while stoling the candy is quite shocking but is so cute! Honoka is a great addition. It's Kyouko that she likes and not Izumi. lmao. But, he now treats Izumi like an older brother. This is a really good episode. My goodness Izumi and Kyouko are so cute!  |
| Wish Miyamura kept his long hair :( It still looks really nice though. I like the way this show is progressing. I hate when romances take the whole show for the couple to actually get together, so this feels way better paced. I also love the way Miyamura is so direct, with the random confession of love the other episode and now that unexpected kiss. Kyousuke ultimate cockblock. |

| The developement was good but it felt like they rushed three episodes to just one. I mean, there was no breathing space to actually let what happened sink in (sleepover/the kiss/gossip/haircut, brotherless kouhai/his divorced mother, another nightstay/advance) Although I have to say that her saying he never does anything was pretty much off (it was more like they stayed whole day together with plenty of opportunities but the anime didn't show that). |

| Well, Miyamura now looks like your generic anime protagonist. Kinda disappointing he had to cut his hair. Honestly, Miyamura and Hori's romantic progress is being executed is such rushed and forced way I can't take it seriously anymore. It has been this way since episode 3 or so. As for the new addition, this Sawada girl couldn't be more annoying. Not to mention that the quick info about her deceased brother being mentioned in order to make her empathize with the viewer was kinda lame. By the way and maybe it's just me here but it's kinda odd how vocal Hori is when she sees two guys being openly friendly with each other. Just saying. |

Hori with the steel chair! pretty fun episode i've just gotten used to this shows fast speed pace i feel like theres still enough content so we wont run out of stuff. mini female Miyamura appeared out of all the drama ,too many coincidences i thought they were gonna end up related by some weird fate since up to this point we hardly know anything about his family, seems like she might view him as a older brother replacement |

| I thought they started to handle the transitions better and better the past few weeks, but the transitions in this episode feels even more jarring than ever.. it's too bad, since I thought there are a lot of good contents this time. Especially the Hori-Miyamura kiss... everything happened too sudden & quickly to process that it left little to no impact.. as well as Sawada's brother story. Oh well, I'm still happy about Kyousuke is still around and my favorite VA finally appearing. |

| I have determined that I can no longer watch this before midnight, because will panik screech too much. Everything's predictable, but nothing making it any less surprising. We get to see Miyamura with a new hair cut. Also, the kouhai crushing over Hori instead of a third guy character is kind of a nice touch. Hopefully, kouhai won't fall too hard for Miyamura's big bro energy. (Doesn't seem like it right now, but knowing Hori's misunderstandings...anythings possible). Hori, a tadbit irkful, but also pretty relatable. That man literally just kissed you for clay flavour, and she's talking about not enough surprises. It's definitely just the pacing of the anime that makes this seem.. :l more *eyerolls* than normal, but shrug. Guess this means something crazy is coming probs. P.S. Cries at that lil blush when he said I'll be back later to the parents raiderublaze said: Nice way for me to start off Valentines' Day with some sweet Horimiya episode. Rumors do spread fast and annoy at the same time, but ayy we finally got to see Izumi cutting his hair! We got the new character Honoka, and yep...she's pretty fucking annoying. Also Honoka looks like Yukino from Oregairu, discount the red hairtie and her being more smaller. So our girl that are uncomfortable with boys has her first crush on Hori. But since Kyouko is taken now, it's on Honoka's sights to pester the boy who took Hori's heart. Although the thing about Honoka's older bro was enough to compensate her nuisance in Hori and Miyamura. Also SWEET SWEET moments between Hori and Miyamura this week. Our boi just catching Hori's candy in a SURPRISE...was it a kiss? Or did he only get the candy but not the lips? Either way, I was screaming as hell in that moment (on silence). Also by the end, they were almost and WAS ABOUT to kiss, but damn you Kyousuke for ruining the moment. Kyouko this week is really menacing with her cold glares, she is protective. SHE IS A KEEPER AND A PROTECTOR, FOLKS. GUESS WHO GOT AN AWARD THIS EPISODE:  Happy Valentines' Day! For all you (poor) people who have a date, enjoy this day (hope it results to something good). And for those who are still single, just watch some animes to console your lonely, hopeless, and strong heart. Shu is me. I am Shu.
