| Ofc they were having fun, pretty fun, until i can't hold my chuckle at the entire episode. Truly madlad, and got the reward with those beauty sword knight. The trap was real, and she didn't even realized the seduction through the whole scheme. Keyarga-sama just too big brain to fight. Meanwhile, in the other side of the door, poor Setsuna and Freia. They were only got a chance by hearing them having fun. Why not pleasuring each others like you do before? Its will be so good to attach the previous damn fun. Minus point from me to this episode. It makes no difference whether the dialogue is there or not. Consider the case where the dialogue is there, then consider the case where it isn't. The plot doesn't change whatsoever, the characters don't change whatsoever, etc. Thus this isn't exactly a good argument as to why the dialogue is bad as it is quite trivial. For example, one of Setsuna's goals is to get stronger. So she mentions to get stronger, which is a good thing for the anime to do. It could have been more subtle, but being subtle is not what this anime is going for so I can get that. But then it mentions multiple, and I mean multiple, times that Setsuna is strong. This anime tries to be so on the nose with its characters that it almost feels condecending at times, because why would the anime constantly mention that Setsuna wants to be strong if it didn't think its audience is too stupid to understand after the first time. And in case of Keyargu's dialogue, here is how to make it better: "After Flare finishes her speech, Keyargu thinks "Good job, Princess Flare" with a smug face." That's it. That is enough to convey Keyargu's character and it also plays a lot of Flare's strange existence as a character. Having Keyargu mention explicitly that Flare is really Princess Flare is not good dialogue, that is explaining it to a what the anime presumes is its dumb audience. It is insulting and it ruins what is otherwise a pretty good and layered scene. The dialogue is bad. It is repetitive and so un-subtle it might as well explain every single action the characters do. And this isn't even talking about this anime's predictable garbage story. Sure, coherency, fluidity and variety are important and all but it has to have meaning or impact to the plot or character development. For example in Setsuna's case, she mentions she wants to get stronger multiple times, but the question is for what purpose? In episode 4, it implied that she wanted to get stronger so she wouldn't be beat down so easily and could protect her village from harm. However that goal has been more or less accomplished already with Keyaru's assistance. However in this episode, she wants to be at least as strong as Kureha. Why is this? There is a bit of subtlety here. In Keyaru's dialogue (assuming the translation is accurate as I don't know Japanese), he says "That was a wonderful performance, Freiya... You were the perfect Princess Flare. Well, I suppose it was natural, considering you are the princess." which I see no issues with this dialogue at all. For one, for the first statement why did he call her Freiya? Because she is Freiya as he had stripped away the old person (Flare). He then stated with smugness that she acted like the perfect princess indicating his self gratification at thinking about what he had done to the previous person inhabiting the body. He then closed his moment of ecstasy by claiming she was the princess. This has some subtlety as the aim was to show Keyaru's mode of thinking. I do not see how the purpose of the text is a reminder to the viewers of who Freiya was in the past as it is obvious to everyone watching; it's just Keyaru's perspective showing his brief moment of ecstasy. Even "Well done Flare" like you suggested could be seen by someone else as reminding the audience of who she was, however the latter statement itself is not subtle at all. |
| Flawless episode this week too. Also, the quality of both H and non H is increasing, without making any of the two stand out compared to the other. Sign of improvement so good. Can't wait for the next ep, it will hit hard. The animation in the Keyaruga and Kureha fight was actually pretty decent, not bad at all. Well, another one added to Keyaruga's tools. Can't believe I am watching this like it's a normal anime lmao. |

| Week 5 of me wondering why this project wasn't planned as a hentai from the get go. Dialogues, interactions, characters and writing are so lifeless... like your average fantasy hentai but without the elf onee-san of big breasts. Also author, you horny dog. There it was, the damn threesome moment I was predicting since episode 3. sigh* If only I could read other mangakas this well. Well, leaving aside the surprisingly decent fight between MC and Kureha, this was another lame episode as usual. But this said, it seems the edginess will return next week with MC's "mom" getting gang-raped to death or something among those lines. RIP in advance for most likely the only kind/pure-hearted person in this entire show. |

| I was disappointed that they didn't do a harem scene with both Setsuna and Freia bot boi this episode was fulfilling lol. They fight scene had better animation then some of black clover fights XD. Overall this was the best episode yet. They nailed the sounds and facial expressions as always. Props for that. |

I get it that we can't get sadistic sh*t in every episode, but I'm getting a bit impatient now. Feels like a wholesome harem ecchi at this point. I hope the next one is the one that adapts chapter 14 of the manga. |
