a very good anime overall and a brilliantly made finale that offers some kind of a climax and still resets the development a bit back without completely cheapening it giving a solid chance for a continuation. 8/10 |

Oh my I really liked the adaptation, especially in art except for Iino hair. I wish they had adapted all the chapter in order thought. We lost some hidden gems. I want a second season so they can adapt Ishigami arc, let's wait and see. By the way, the end was hilarious. |
I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something. People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |

My favorite anime of the season and that says a lot when we had other great anime like The Promised Neverland and Mob Psycho s2 as well this season. Every episode made me laugh so much, the characters are likable and we even have a perfect mix of emotional/romance moments added in. I've got no complaints with this show, it's a 10/10 for me. We need a season 2 of this anime. |

While I still don't like Kaguya at all, Hayasaka almost beat Chika as best girl because she does so much for Kaguya and she is an interesting character in general, but Chika is so cute and cheerful that nobody can beat her in my opinion. A better ending would have been great but I think this will be a multi seasoned anime so that is why they opted not to properly end the anime yet. |

What a half assed ending. Sure the show was cutesy and funny, but it was no different from shows like Nisekoi. This show was still not able to give closure after one season, simply because it's not a passionate adaptation of a story, but more a moneygrab and the staff knew what standard buttons to push. But, I get it, it's the industry standard and better endings in one season are not common. The last I remember which also didn't quite end in a confession, but was worth it, was Sasameki Koto. And I bet it was because it wasnt nerved from start to finish and you needed to make yourself watch it to the end. |

"but it was no different from shows like Nisekoi" both show are romcom, of course there are similarity here and there, but tbh to called it "no different" is a dumb statement. Even the plot are totally different lol "This show was still not able to give closure after one season" The source material currently had 145 chapters and still on going, of course 12 episodes wont be enough to adapt it "simply because it's not a passionate adaptation of a story" tbh,i dont know how you get more passionate adaptation than this. animation really bring life into the scene its adapting, voice acting and music are spectacular. i dont see any point to complain about the way they adapting it "but more a moneygrab and the staff knew what standard buttons to push" i dont see any problem with being moneygrab. animation studio isnt work for charity, its business. "But, I get it, it's the industry standard and better endings in one season are not common" most of manga usually goes for at least 50+ chapters which cant be adapted with only 12 episodes, if youre looking for something that has closure on 12 episodes, try looking on anime that had original(not adapting manga/light novel) story, for example, tsuki ga kirei, a place further than universe, puella magi madoka magica, and others |

10/10 anime...best romcom anime the i've ever seen...the "psychological" element blends well in the anime...in the form of thinking how to make the other/opposite sex confess their feelings to the other...i really hope they would make a season 2 ♡ |

Just finished rewatching this alongside reading the Chapters just beforehand, and I’ve to say I probably enjoyed through this manner even more than the weekly route. It’s an amazing story and both the adaptions are superb, but I’d probably have to choose the anime over the manga simply because of the wonderful voice acting, masterful direction, mesmerising animation, the brilliant Op/EDs and just seeing the Characters and Story progress in animated form. But then again, some of the missing Chapters that the anime adaption didn’t adapt really connected up fabulously making the manga ride really entertaining! I haven’t reached up to Chapter 55, the Kaguya tutoring Ishigami bit though, so I’m looking forward to seeing how that will do and also how it’ll be set up beforehand. 10/10 again! |

The show is phenomenal. Definitely one of the best romcoms I've ever watched. But the ending? Awful. Like really, really fucking awful. I don't watch a ton of anime, so when I get invested in something, I really get invested. And, in some ways, I feel a bit betrayed by this one. I'm actually a little bit salty. I guess I'm looking forward to a season 2, but I'd also kind of say we're owed one, tbh. I get that it's an adaption from a manga and that the manga isn't over, but frankly, I just don't give a shit. :P Imo, that's when you vary from the original. So basically, I both loved and hated that last episode. It was amazing until it was absolutely jaw-droppingly disappointing. |

As i expected for the finale, it's so irritating because they can't be honest to themselves stubborn to the bone, to start a relationship one of them should give in and just say their true feelings already, but that would ruin the whole purpose of this series. In the other side, it was fun to watch their silliness and stubbornness, they're making it hard for themselves, jokes on them lmao. Overall score 8/10, the fireworks scene was great and heat throbbing |

The last episode of Kaguya is just simply masterpiece for its creativity and uniqueness. The emotions presented was very good showing Kaguya not just her Yandere side. Looking forward for season 2 of Kaguya!! 9/10 for me. Would have been a 10/10 for me if Kaguya confess her love but who knows in future:3 Also, I can more or less see why Kaguya doesnt want to confess due to family background, pride and shy (just by her walking up and down the last scene). Not so much a fan of romcom to me but this was just superb.. Love Chika and Kaguya :3 both adorable and funny |

In case you are too annoyed by the ending, maybe just read 1 chapter of manga either 50 or 56 is fine. It's an absolute perfect, they really did well on finishing the series, it really stirring up a lot of mixed emotion from tense, touching, cute, adorable, and becoming hilarious again and they really did it perfectly at this episode. The real Climax is while they're on the taxi seeing fireworks, the way Kaguya represent her heart toward what Miyuki and other did for her(especially Miyuki at this) The way they animated when Kaguya said she can't hear fireworks, her heart beating faster looking at Miyuki is really touching and beautiful, it really perfect. After that touching wonderful moments, the next day it return to comedic yet adorable phase of both of them with that "presented by Shirogane Miyuki" and "Asterisk" thingy XD. The Lit OP by legendary Japan's king love song Masayuki Suzuki and Beautiful ED by Halca + wonderful Chika dance even made this series more awesome. TBH, this was already my favorite series since i've read some of the chapter before and the mixed genre of Romcom + Psychological(mind games) wrapped in "Seinen" vibe is Really fit my taste. I'm really glad when it got adapted and become more excited and satisfied after watching this perfect adaptation, after all this is one of the best Seinen Romcom+Psychological series that i've ever read(and watch). it seems i exaggerating too much while typing this, but yeah.. that's me when i really loved and liked something. Absolute Masterpiece, Prop to Akasaka Sensei for creating this. and for A-1 too for doing a wonderful job adapting it, can't wait for the sequel i want moaaar..... Perfect 10/10 for me. |

This probably should have sold 15k+ units. Not because it 'deserves it cuz it's so good' but because it had all the qualities of a perfect storm megahit show. 4.8k is good but it's rather disappointing for the industry that that was it. |

This anime left a weird impression when I first started it. After all the average seasonal anime I've been used to, it was weird to start watching some intense romcom (not my usual choice for anime). However by the end I really enjoyed it, and that ending was very satisfying. |

this show reminds me a lot of Special A, which is a good thing, but.. when the premise of the series is based around not wanting to make the first move yourself, in that both the male protagonist and the female protagonist have almost the same exact character when it comes to love, you get a whole series of stalling, even when it makes sense to progress story wise, you have to stall for the sake of your "story concept".. it was fun the first half of the series but it gets very frustrating and annoying to watch when they tried to pull a sad sob scene where it's like they can't be together because of forces outside of their own will, which is not the case at all. :l The last 4 episodes, frankly, have been pretty trash, especially this episode, which they've even acknowledged to be very cringy. The series should not have gotten serious all of the sudden, should've slowly built towards it instead of shoving up our asses at the very end of episode 11 with episode 12 being the final episode. The series have stayed comedic throughout but all of the sudden there's this daddy who's gonna cockblock his own daughter for X reason. This reminds me of the Tate no Yuusha shield hero bullying, absolutely forced when there's no reason for that bish to bully him. Kaguya's design is top notch though, her character design is like half the reason why I am even watching this show.. a little over the first half of the series was really fun, but I feel like there are even more fanservices nowadays, starting from all that talk about penises, prez fantasizing about nude kaguya, kaguya getting prez into her bed and prez admittedly wanted to molest her, and then we get scenes where the maid is taking a bath and is half naked. There wasn't this much in the first half and I am wondering if the author ran out of idea or something. the series was really enjoyable but somewhere down the line it derailed. Hopefully it can get back on track because it had that special A vibe. I really like the whole idea of having a prestigious school where only the rich / elite could enter. OHSHC was nice, Special A was great, there's just so much grandiose stuffs they could do without worrying about the finance/influence. Involving other students is a good idea, I liked the part where a student came for a romance advice, but there hasn't been any after that. Hope it doesn't get too deep into the drama because honestly it's been cringy and terribly written into the story. oh yea and lastly, the whole "today, ____ won" thing by the narrator is pretty annoying, was unique but got tired of it after a while.. I don't really care who won.. sometimes it's not really about winning or losing.. so yeah, meh. |

I think this could've ended slightly better. I would've loved it if they had ended this right on the fireworks scene and rolled the credits. The extra humour kinda ruined the feels. That said, I was screaming at all those scenes from the recap in the rolling credits. Edit: Ramen people are amazing. |

The show was really well done! The animation was fantastic, the voice acting was superb, it was hilarious, the characters were lots of fun, and the story always kept me on my toes and was well-paced. And the narrator *kisses fingers Italian style* bene! Concerning the finale: we got some good stuff. Kaguya was raw, Shirogame was cool and finally did something, Yu and Chika were great background characters, and Ai was killer as always. This anime spoke to me especially because when it was airing I was hilariously just noticing how much I overthink and seeing our two leads do the same but to such extravagant levels made feel a lot better about myself, as well as giving me more confidence to keep improving and quit worrying so much. And that ending just goes to show what happens if you never do anything and just overthink: you go back just to where you began. 10/10 P.S. I wonder if they confess in the manga...will have to find out! |

In the manga you get a sense of escalation and suddenness while in the anime it is more subdued and melancholic. It works in the manga especially because its all in one chapter and is sudden but it doesn't work as well in the anime especially when it was cut in two like that. I'll also say that your fear of fanservice is unfounded, the manga has literally no fanservice. In short I can't say you'll enjoy the manga for sure, but you can try giving it a go since it's a common opinion to say that what the anime adapted is the "worst" part of the manga(not saying it was bad just that everything become better from this point on). |

I'm aware you meant it that way, it won't happen as often when you start reading the manga. There's a thread where manga-reader has kept track of skipped chapter so the reason you feel there's more perverse joke at the end is just because the anime staff chose more of them toward the end of the anime instead of taking the unadapted chapters. Usually in the manga perverse joke are far in between chapter, it's just that with the anime jumping around chapters and choosing their order can feel that way. |

How do you do serious scenes in comedy shows? Like this. Fuck you Konosuba! An extremely potent and thoughtful adaptation, if somewhat different to the original. Very consistent comedy, high relatability(despite being extremely unrealistic), hyper dynamic (despite having a repetitive premise). Show that highlights what only anime/manga can do compared to other medium so well. 8/10 |

I was planning to give this series an 8 or a 9, but this episode has forced me to give it a 10/10. This series was a MASTERPIECE. The first part was so emotional and made this the best episode in the entire series. It killed me when Kaguya was not allowed to go see the fireworks. Hayasaka's expression there really spoke for me. I hate her father and I hate how she's treated. She didn't even have it in her to tell everyone else why she couldn't come. The fact that her message was so short and had two sorries in it really hit hard. And then it was her lying on her bed still in her yukata, crying. I was on the verge of tears throughout the fireworks part. She's such a kind and selfless girl. Every time she says "Daijoubu" it just feels even more painful because it's not okay. But leave it to Hayasaka. Wow, she really is the most reliable and loyal person all around. Her sending a tweet using Kaguya's account was very smart and calculated. She had to believe that Shirogane was going to read it. Really, we don't deserve Hayasaka. She's so caring and loving of Kaguya. And damn, what a plan. Felt real pleasure seeing her successfully fooling that bodyguard of Kaguya's. "Gotcha". Slick. That Big Four Ramen King guy was random though lol. Props to Shirogane. He managed to decode what was happening from seeing the tweet and observing Hayasaka impersonating Kaguya. Props to everybody. Fujiwara not focusing on the fireworks and instead trying to contact Kaguya, and Ishigami going around looking for her. I really thought Shirogane and Kaguya were going to meet each other at the fireworks... but turns out it was heartbreaking. My heart just fell when the announcer said that it was over and all the people were leaving. It was one of the most heartbreaking things seeing Kaguya standing there, tears falling, and saying "There is no God." And then her crying under the stairs. I did not expect this romantic COMEDY to pull my heartstrings so. But even then she was so kind and selfless. How can her thoughts be about how she's satisfied that her friends could enjoy the beautiful fireworks? How can she be so selfless and kind like that? She really wanted to see fireworks, first time in her life. HOW PLEASED I was to see Shirogane suddenly appear and tell her to follow him. But damn, Shirogane sure was bursting with confidence. Way to go Ishigami with finding the taxi, and lol it's that guy again. Fujiwara's helping Kaguya to the taxi was funny but heartwarming too. Then in the taxi. That is one cool taxi driver. I was not expecting that. Ishigami's comment was spot on. "Let us be in time", I was on the edge of my seat. I honestly thought they were about to crash or something but turns out that was the exit of the tunnel. And then the fireworks. Even though they were just fireworks for some reason I felt they were beautiful there. Everyone's attention was fixed on the fireworks, but Kaguya's was on Shirogane's. Damn, those lines. Those lines were so WHOLESOME. That entire part was so beautiful and fulfilling. I didn't shed any tears as I held them in but throughout they could've burst at any time. And then back to something more regular, but still hilarious. Shirogane's way overthinking it but it was funny, especially seeing Kei cover her ears like that. "Asterisk", "Triangle", hilarious. Chika really is CHAOS and clueless. Ishigami was shot down but then Kaguya went "Three's a crowd" and basically kicked her out lol. Okay Kaguya and Shirogane bumping into each other is illegal, it was too cute, way off the charts. But Shirogane, damn, you really overthink it. Mistaking "Thank you" for "Painful" lol. That was one of the best ending sequences I have ever seen in anime. A recap of the series, and showing the characters. (Yay, Hayasaka dancing!). What a way to end the series. They didn't really put it on an "ending" but it feels like a fresh reset. Awesome. I did not come to this anime with very high expectations after watching the first episode. I thought it was just going to be for comedy, but damn am I glad I was wrong. The comedy is balanced out with emotionally powerful and heartwrenching wholesome, emotional, sad and lovely moments. Didn't think it'd be one of my favourites. The development was well-done too. It didn't feel like a bunch of random, unconnected events. It all felt like days progressing and the characters growing and heading towards something. Top class animation. Awesome development. Perfect voice acting. (Unexpectedly) spot-on narration. Great music. You can really see the passion of the animators and everyone else who worked on this anime. It feels like a work of passion, not just something made to sell. Thank you to the author of the manga for making this story and thank you to the entire team who made this anime for your passion and hard work! It damn well paid off! 10/10. I do think a season 2 is possible though. After waiting for several years, OreGairu S3 is finally coming so why not this for a S2? And also, the reset I feel might even set the stage for a season 2. It MIGHT just be to advertise the manga, but I think it can go either way. I'd LOVE a S2. Regardless, I'm definitely going to be picking up the manga soon. I need to continue this story, and from what I hear the manga is excellent too! Thank you, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War! |

This ep is the epitome of how a season finale should be like. I truly appreciate how despite there only being 1 ep remaining, they managed to further expand the story of the loneliness and feeling of isolation that Kaguya is currently experiencing. It truly is a wonderfully realistic dilemma that I wholeheartedly can feel. Her pain of not being able to spend that 1 night with her friends and the feeling of helplessness for not being able to make anything go according to how it hoped would go actually brought a tear to my eyes. Seeing Kaguya crying all by herself in a dark corner further emphasize the feeling of loneliness and isolation that she experiences all by herself. HOWEVER! I felt nothing but utmost joy seeing Miyuki rescuing Kaguya from that dark place (literally and figuratively). Furthermore, seeing as how all of this has all been part of a grand scheme involving not only Miyuki, but also Hayasaka, Chika and Yu alongside that ramen king driver, it just made this moment such a beautiful moment to see. Of course, to top it off, the fact that they managed to catch the postponed fireworks showing on time is like the cherry on top. It seals the deal, it made the night of all participant a night to remember, however way they remember it as. In this case, Kaguya is fully mesmerized by the expression Miyuki has. It's a simple enough reaction but my mind is just shouting at how this implies that at how she envies the freedom that Miyuki has, a life with free will. He is what joy is to Kaguya, he is the person she loves the most. Maybe this is a part of why Kaguya fell in love for him, though I may just be overthinking it. In the end, this show has really ended in such a way that compels my curiosity to ask for more. This series is a romcom with a pinch of phycological twist through and through. But it can still be categorized as a slice of life series. Usually, these kinds of stories only cause me to desire to see what'll happen next in the story, but this time, it's more than that. This adaptation had not only made me interested in the future events that will occur in the lives of the characters but also to see what would happen on the predicament that Kaguya is in. This is not something that all series of this kind has, it's really a point that made the audiences like em more interested in the show. Add the fact that the main cast has really been loveable and the story really quirky and fun. This adaptation has really given a really good impression on me and needless to say, on everyone else seeing at how many things related to this series has popped up in the internet after this show had aired. I will 100% check the manga or any LN if it has one. This story is unique compared to the stories of similar genres. |

What a fuckin' letdown. The first half of the episode was absolutely amazing and then they do this shit... Legit I haven't felt this dissapointed in like forever. Of course there won't be another season - there never is for the good stuff and even the good stuff that shows promise it is cut short like that and ends on the worst possible fuckin note. Basically what they are saying is that those 12 episodes could not exist and nothing would be any different. They landed right back where they started. That is some serious progression. I'm so tired of anime being trailers for VN/LN's. And yes, before you ask - I'm salty as all hell. Not to disregard or discount other people's opinions but honestly - how could you enjoy this parade of misunderstandings? Have comedies/romances based on misunderstandings EVER been funny? Or enjoyable to watch? I always saw them as a huge waste of time - as in they waste my time and the characters waste time with each other. |

Reminds me of chuunibyou (s1) which is also a rom-com with a melodramatic conflict in the last episode but with a sweet ending. Of course in those conflicts, you can clearly see how the feelings of the characters are overemphasized despite the conflict being just not being able to watch fireworks with friends, etc. It's not my thing but I'm sure a lot of people loved it. |

So far only Promised Neverland was better this year. Hilarious as hell, amazingly written series with great presentation. I thought that concept would get boring and stale after few episodes but somehow they menaged to make it consistantly entertaining and finish it with a satisfying conclusion. I want more, please announce season 2 for 2020 A-1 Pictures. 8/10 |

I finally finished this series because of [GFM] subs ultra hyper delay of their fansubs! This episode was perfectly cute, full of emotions and an intense OST! 5/5. 8/10. |

Kaguya is selling too well to not get one. They are probably waiting for the live action to be released to make an announcement. And you are right, in this season there is barely any progression. HOWEVER, that last couple episodes are a turning point in the whole series, and after that Kaguya becomes so much better... Little by little there will be serious progression, and the misunderstandings will stop being the main thing. The most important progression is regarding best boy Ishigami in the future 2nd season, but eventually kaguya-shirogane progression will also be important. So give it a 2nd opportunity xD Or read the manga from chapter 47. Ah, and the mis |

If another season does drop - I will watch it. I'm kinda done with anime being trailers for manga so I won't be reading it. I never really liked manga to be honest - there are exceptions of course but in general I find it to be extremely dificult to read or to even tell what I'm looking at most times. Maybe my eyes are fucked but hey - that's why I stick to anime. |
