| Yeah, such very polite Crusch feels very different.. Wonder, if we won't see her for quite some time, though.. I'd probably want some scenes with her and Felis flashing from time to time, if that's alright.. But maybe they won't be showing for long time.. Oh well, it'll be how it'll be.. Though, I quite like Crusch like this, her new relationship with Felis would be interesting to observe as well, really.. I'm not sure, if they really need to carry Rem around?.. Even on her back to the mansion, I mean.. What for?.. A bit calmer episode so far.. Maybe it'll change, of course.. But it's nice to have calmer episode, actually.. Well, I personally enjoy it, that is.. It gives feel of isekai world, if that makes sense.. Makes me feel a bit dreamy and stuff.. Return of Beatrice~ Kashira.. ;P Oh?.. Beatrice knew Betelgeuse?.. She even called him Geuse, and even said after learning about his death "then you've left me behind, too, I suppose".. Quite interesting.. She seemed a bit sad.. Were they friends or something?.. Betelgeuse's Witch Factor?.. What is this?.. Well, we'll learn in time, I guess.. Well, in the end Beatrice was quite upset.. Feeling like "tool".. Wonder, if she's feeling like that towards Roswaal as well, and that's why she's upset.. Well, if he didn't tell her some pretty important stuff, it seems.. Who knows.. Subaru, why you decide to just randomly throw away the medallion that was told to be the key?.. Like, what?.. ;D I hope Emilia is alright, it'd be kinda stupid, if she wouldn't just because of this stupidity.. Oh, the Witch of Greed! Echidna! Exciting~ ;P Well, overall, another nice episode.. Topic about relationships of Beatrice was the most interesting to me this episode.. Both with Betelgeuse, and with Roswaal.. Well.. We don't know for sure, what kind of person Roswaal is, or who is Beatrice as well.. It seems there can be some interesting stuff.. And well, of course Echidna appearing in the end is also exciting.. |

| hype hype hypeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Finally seeing Frederica, Lewes and of course Echidna <3333 animated is awesome Every conversation with Beako is always incredible, she explains so much and teaases 100x as much always leaving you with more questions xD Otto's likability is also shining through a lot more now. He really is a great character and the way him and Subaru bounce of each other is always perfect!! That opening was so hype, you can already feel how intense this season is gonna be. Love some of the teases in it owo Also damn Roswald scheming and planning everything, can't wait to see him again at the Sanctuary. The only bad thing is having to wait another week for ep 3 :'( |

| Good. As others said this is more like a build-up episode. I think animation wise is a little lackluster but the OP was fire. I hope we start getting more action in the next episodes. Also, the beako talk with Subaru means that she knows Betelguese? seems interesting. |

Frederica is a cute. Gotta love those sharp fangs. Ending was shcoking. I heard about Echidna already, but I never thought they would introduce her so early in the season. Interested for the next one. Opening is lit.I feel I'm going to like it even more the more times I will hear it. |

| Funniest part of this episode was when Emilia grabbed Sabaru by the ear when he made a comment about Frederica's teeth. It was also nice to see Beatrice chatting with Sabaru again, but what is her relationship with the Archbishops including Petelgeuse? Sabaru gets separated from Emilia only to come face to face with the witch of Greed, Echidona. |

| This episode was really good, introduced a new maid that's half beast and half human could probably be some connection with the bishops, especially her knowing about how to enter the sanctuary. More background information on beatrice and her getting angry at subaru, almost crying. The ending was great, introducing us to the witch, (which really resembles emilia). Can't wait for episode 2. |

| You guys mean, after finish this season... and the second half of this season next year. Because the 12 (11?) episodes will not reveal that much you are mentioning. Btw, for the few who was reading the latest manga, 1 anime episode is covering 2 or 2.5 chapters. Which means you will be able to read the manga until chapter 10 (episode 5 of the anime) before it start to surpass. While the anime was in hiatus, i was: 1. Reading the manga. 2. Reading the light novel until reaches the point i was reading the manga, to complete it, and wait. Now ill have to change the chapter by the episode, and proceed the same with the light novel. I hate to spoil myself with novels since im here for art, images, visual, what defines anime/manga to me. |

| Frederica is so cute with her large smile~! Beatrice is tsun-tsun as always but very helpful towards Subaru, now that he is separated from Emilia he got into the Windows XP Wallpaper and met Echidna. Wonder what's gonna happen up next. |

| Love this episode chile. Yes lore, yes mystery, yes story.🤤🤤🤤 Absolutely love the fact that Echidna introduction led straight to her in the OP/ED. The flavor. The direction👏 The op alone makes this 5/5. It surpasses my expectations. Love the green butterflies theme a lot. |

Seeing Beatrice worried about Petelgeuse was kinda scary and interesting at the same time. Once again, the forest ambience was on point, and made me shiver quite a bit. Can't wait for next week. |

| The little conversation between Subaru and Beatrice was probably the highlight of the episode for me. Who knew Beatrice had ties to Betelguese. Ending the episode off with the introduction of the Witch of Greed only heightens my anticipation for next week. Also, I really liked the OP! It is my favorite one so far from the series in terms of the visual aspect of it. |

| Though its sad to see her lose her cool and composed nature its somewhat refreshing to see a new side to Crusch. Despite the conditions the little heart to heart between Subaru and Emilia sure did well in dispelling the mood while also showing how much both had changed since their first meetings. Looks like in their absence a new member has joined the mansion staff. Frederica huh. Subaru's ability to find Beatrice's library every time sure is amusing. Nice to finally see Beatrice again though. Her reaction at seeing the gospel as well as hearing of the sloth's death though sure was curious as her display of genuine anger as well. Looks like the mansion also gained one more trainee in the form of Petra. Her earnest nature and determination to please Subaru sure is fun and cute. Overall an excellent ep that featured an excellent blend of plot advancement, Nostalgia and mystery in the form of Frederica and Beatrice's words. Quite curious to see the Sanctuary as well as the many mysteries that are held there. To think that we will end up meeting the famed witch of greed so soon though. Can't wait to see what happens next. |

| That conversation between Beako and Subaru was something else. Beako looks genuinely hurt that Betelguese is dead, wonder what all that's about. So far the second season has been slow, I get its set up but still I hope next episode answers a lot of questions. inb4 it just triples the questions |
| Decent episode, more of a built-up one for the coming events. The talk between Subaru and Beatrice was the highlight, as well as him meeting Echidna at the end. Beatrice seems to be recalling Betelguese with some kind of nostalgia, hope we get some answers soon. The OP is pretty great. |
