Yuyuko is a good pick, rarely see people who have her as a favorite character since most of the love goes for Reimu, Marisa, Sanae, Remillia, Sakuya, and Yukari unless I've been forgetting someone else. Mine would be Sakuya, Ironically, I was introduced to the franchise through her involvement with some Jojo memes and the undertale comparison all the time. Thought the time-stop ability was pretty cool, her theme was also badass, and the pad joke was the best part, thus got hooked and started it.

Both actually, Played it from 7 to 13, watched most of the fanmade anime, read some manga which are pretty awesome btw, especially Forbidden Scrollery which I consider a good introduction to the series and even read that fanmade eroge in VNDB.
Was super crazy about it at some point but just stopped, mainly cuz I was starting Uni and thought it'd be distracting. After that, VNs came and lost my interest in finishing the whole thing. Nice Reimu pfp, although I think she's pretty overrated.

marisa is better >:)

also thinking more about it, one thing that remember11 easily surpasses ever17 is the high reread value, that should be an amazing experience to connect the dots, without having that pacing issues present in ever17. Just wish there was a remake to actually give it a sort of true route/ending
Frosty- Aug 16, 1:48 PM
well I marathoned it in two days(just according to my previous plan kek) so yeah that was something unique at least to keep me hooked

Old style is fine though since those bring out the best of the medium, in fact I prefer reading like this with the help of routes/choices rather than those gameplay aspects of other novels, to form proper theories and all
Frosty- Aug 16, 1:38 PM
Think the bad ending/tips here are sort of "making up" for the incomplete route/ending. Definitely not an ideal way but it's something different at least

won't have been 10 for me since the characters aren't even that good, but yeah to make a full closure concept like that with the atmosphere would have meant some high praise at least
Frosty- Aug 16, 1:19 PM
and yes seen that one, but there is more information here actually
Frosty- Aug 16, 1:18 PM
What, isn't the ending funny? Especially imagine people who were expecting another ever17, and then left with the question at the end, genius move.

Well I am still processing some of the information since the novel obviously needed another route(probably from Yuni's perspective) to explain some of the stuff, but it's pretty cool to see bad endings(especially that one at the end) actually try to give more information by providing hints. That's quite interesting.

Anyway overall in short, Remember11 is another of those novels which perhaps "could have been great" but failed reaching that level due to that rush and the story getting contrived by packing too much infodumps towards the end. One of the best pacing in visual novels, but that comes with the sacrifice of characterization. Should applaud the concept and the premise+atmosphere, top notch quality there, just couldn't replicate that level in other aspects by closing a cohesive story.

gotta say

Just completed 15 minutes ago, still laughing at that ending wew lol
Frosty- Aug 10, 12:55 PM
Might be the case, since noticed mainly narrative problems while reading it.

There were few other minor complaints too, the premise was quite promising so that's a bit disappointing.
Frosty- Aug 10, 12:16 PM
Sounds alright then, might read it. Just in need of some good mystery series since it has been a while and 7 seeds wasn't exactly best attempt at that(judging until the portion that I read).
Frosty- Aug 10, 5:13 AM
Well yeah another route was planned there but couldn't happen because of rushing the development, with disagreement between the creators about the ending. Do you think investing so many hours were justifiable, despite that ending? I know that many websites provide more clarification to that open ending, but still, just checking out my options for reading any visual novels during those (rare) two free days
Frosty- Aug 9, 10:08 PM
Surely not manga like 7seeds because already dropped it
Will probably pick up something like Bakuman instead

That reminds me, how long is Remember 11 though? Always wanted to read it but the negative opinions regarding the ending is discouraging
Frosty- Aug 9, 3:19 PM
Yeah all the walkthroughs look like a complete mess too. Oh well, might as well go through some manga then instead
Frosty- Aug 9, 1:09 PM
So how many hours did it take for yu-no? Have 2 days free next week so was thinking whether a binge read was possible or not.
