| there was so much complaining about the changes made in this section of the adaptation that i read the chapters of the manga even tho i don't read it and honestly i'm fine with this adaptation at least when it comes to lubbock's death. the lack of some of the characters that i saw in the manga is more troubling then not seeing a pg-13 torture scene. |

If anything, I think it's good that they are making it so Esdeath fights Night Raid one epic time instead of having them fight once during the Boric mission, and another time for Tatsumi's capture. (yes I just read the new Ch54 of the manga raw). It would have been the same fight twice and 1 episode apart, considering they want to have an ending this season. |

| Rest in peace manga fans ._. I read up the manga, its so good, but maybe a little way too brutal to be adapted. and gosh the best fights before boricks death are all skipped :/ I'll just tag along and see how this thing go... |

| The anime's use of death flags is horrid ("WHEN THIS IS OVER I WANT TO...." before dying.) Mine even had one just an episode ago. Not that it matters anyway, FB spoils everyone's deaths weeks before I get to watching the actual episode. At the same time... I have no idea how episode 19 transitioned into 20. |

| Wow what an episode! I really though Lubbock would be able to escape since he was able to plan everything ahead. If only he was able to use that teleport before he fell. Wtf that stupid bitch that stabbed Lubbock. Are you that stupid to think your parents are still alive all these years, especially from the Emperor? Never expected they would kill Lubbock like that O__O I read it's slightly different compared to the manga. I actually prefer this death since before he died, he had a vision of Najenda before his death. Still that's depressing as hell :( And lol am i the only who thought Budou looks like Raoh from Fist of the North Star?? Even his mannerism is similar to him! Ah well can't wait for the next episode. Please at least don't make an original Anime Ending T___T |

| 3/5 By now, even I who have not read the manga, I know this show is all new, but not consciously know whether it is good or bad close it left open the story. However I can always judge the episode from what I've seen, it is in truth, it was not so nice. In this twentieth episode, I found myself in front of the usual old story seen in many other previous episodes. The narrative too quickly, remove the main characters without giving even room for the new bad guys, being so little addictive, the only thing I was a bit affected is the death of Lubbo. I hope that in the end, do not ruin this anime so much, with too stupid found. |

| I hate it when they do this. If they're not going to follow the manga all the way through, why even bother. I don't understand how anyone could tolerate this at any amount either. I mean I find it extremely hard not to notice how much they half assed the rest of the story if you can even call it a story just to establish a conclusion. |

| Don't hate me for this, but I find this kinda unique that they sacriface so much excellent characters yet the show stays amazing (for me). Still, RIP Lubbock :( He was one of the best male character in the anime.. |
