Definitely recommend it though. I'd actually say it's on the level of it's so good it's great. The backstory for how the dub came to be is pretty interesting and hilarious. For a proper so bad it's good dub I'd go for Garzey's Wing. It genuinely sounds like non of the english voice actors were given any direction or feedback and it sounds so stilted in every instance. |

| Some old greek dub like dragon ball which constantly changed voice actors and had some weird translations even though it was pretty faithful to the original. I've also heard some horror stories about the greek dub of one piece but I haven't watched that. |

| The Higurashi dub was pretty bad. If someone had told me it was an amateur fandub after watching it, I would have believed them. I didn't care for the Clannad dub either. They managed to get it right where it really matters (i.e. the emotional scenes) but otherwise it was mediocre. Not to mention the constant mispronunciation of names was cringe. A more recent example would be the Oregairu dub. The voice acting itself wasn't that bad, and Adam Gibbs nailed it as Hachiman, but the way the script was translated ranges from average to god-awful in places. So much of the meaning is lost in translation that it almost seems contrived compared to the original, where there was an incredible amount of culturally-relevant subtext behind the dialogue. They basically turned it into another generic romcom show. I haven't seen any dubs which were so horribly bad that would make me automatically stop watching. Most modern dubs are pretty good actually, and for older shows I almost exclusively watch them with subs. |

| Pretty much any of the new dubs by funimation. As far as valid criticisms go, the Konosuba dub has a very short list. I'm curious to know what exactly made it so unbearable for you. |

| Anything dubbed in the 80s or early 90s was usually pretty bad. 95-2005 is hit or miss. After that companies improved a lot and I don't usually have any issues with them. |

| The dub for Tamako Market bothered me something fierce. I can’t put a finger on what exactly the problem was but something was just very, very wrong that made the whole thing completely unwatchable for me. I’ve yet to get back around to the sub. |

| The spanish dub of Made in Abyss is one of the trashiest things I have had the pleasure to experience. It was clearly done my very bad amateurs. Oh, and Nanachi didn't say his characteristic "naaahh" in this dub. Unforgivable! |

| The Italian dub of Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail is god awful. iirc they didn't even use Italian dubbers: they picked amateur, Italian-French dubbers. Revy's voice is very monotonous and deep, like an old man's voice. Dutch's voice is completely incoherent with his character. Most people who bought the DVD felt robbed. |
