Or at least the ones that hate Eva and are part of the Metacritic for Anime club

I'm not super informed on the subject, but my take is that Ruka isn't trans at all. That doesn't mean that the show isn't insensitive with him at times, but I don't read him as trans, especially because he refers to himself as male. It's made a bit more explicit in the VN. Some of the replies in this thread explain it well:

My computer is newer, but it's a fairly cheap model and NOT recommended for gaming. It can run Civ 5 though. It has a 228 GB hard drive, which is pretty sad by modern standards.

CPU: 2.7-GHz Intel Core i7-7500U CPU

Operating System: Windows 10 Home

I actually just found a good deal on a SNES classic and got one of those. There are so many classic games on there I've never been able to play and it feels nice to have an original SNES controller.

My computer kind of sucks, but I could try an emulator. It's PS2 emulator right?

It took way too long to get the memo on that one

Ohh wow! That's really so amazing that you got so good at English all on your own! (other than learning the basics from your mom, of course!), I was born here in the USA, so I've known English ever since I was little! But my parents were actually immigrants, so when I was little I used to get a lot of pronunciations wrong because that's how my parents taught it to me haha

Also THAT'S AWESOME! I really hope you like it more the second time watching! Because when I rated Madoka so high, our affinity went down a lot :((((

That's actually amazing! Guts in a suit giving lectures about The Smiths. I kind of wish that was a movie now.

Is it on steam?

Did you play SH2 on the original PS2 or emulator? I suppose it would be cheaper to get an emulator because some old games are insanely expensive. Especially Suikoden 2 and Valkyrie Profile Lenneth. I own and have beaten Suikoden 3-5 and Valkyrie Profile 2, but those aren't the games people online care about! Lol.

I made the mistake of renting Silent Hill: The Room back in high School. I've heard the first 2 games on PS1 are Amazing, but I haven't played them yet.

Ohh wow! That's very surprising to me that you're from Argentina! YOUR ENGLISH IS SO AMAZING!! Do you learn it there??

Also I'm so sorry about that! I'm in the EST time zone! But I think the reason I respond so late is because I usually just stay up extremely late haha

Also, just a quick response to your point about Gurren Lagann! While I definitely get what you're saying, I would argue that Madoka Magica's magic system isn't meant to be a focal-point of the show either, as it serves as more of a vehicle for the characters and themes. That's why I would say it was still pretty easy for me to look past the ambiguity in terms of explanations. For instance, something like Death Note is an anime that relies entirely on the plot. So in a show like that, the lack of explanations would probably have bothered me far more.

I watched it on, imo it was pretty good quality, but I have low standards. If quality is what you're after, you should probably look for a torrent of a Blu-Ray rip on Nyaa or something. But if you don't wanna torrent, you can check out 9anime and see if that lives up to your standards.

As for Rumiko Takahashi, personally, it's the only one of her works I actually like. Every other Takahashi work I've seen, I've had an overabundance of problems with, and Ranma 1/2 in particular is quite possibly the anime I hate the most, though Nichijou gives it some steep competition, so I can't really say which one I hate more between those 2. I wish Rumiko Takahashi would've made mroe stories in a similar vein as Maison Ikkoku, but noooooo that just refused to happen

BTW, I made a new review! It's for an arthouse hentai!
