| They're really going for the Mirai Nikki appeal. Crazy girl suddenly in love with the self-insert protagonist. This episode seemed mostly about Shuuka and attempting to explain the convoluted game. The only way they can go from here is down. I hope this show goes balls to the wall stupid rather than trying to take itself way too seriously. |

| ok its interesting, i'll watch more of it. its obviously not good in plot but entertaining as hell. guilty pleasure of the season. i enjoy tag team pairings, so this will be fun to watch if they can work together to beat other players. |

| A strange episode. The flow of events isn't a problem, as such, but it does feel like a few things are being skipped to keep things moving. And why does everyone trust the information girl, when she's not just helping people on all sides but is also a player in the game herself? It feels like a cheap way to give characters knowledge they would have no way of otherwise getting, as it makes absolutely zero sense if you think about it at all. |
| i really REALLY don't like how they cut out all the police investigations. That's what makes this series so great and unique from other survival games: the fact that their actions don't have no consequences and they can't just murder whoever whenever cause it'll still be a murder case and they can become a suspect in police investigation. I'd waited AGES for the police suspecting the mc scenes and they fucking decided not to include the best part. FUCK YOU STUDIO NEXUS!!! Firstly, you still lose some points for surrendering. Like how Shuka lost 600 point to Kaname. Secondly, surrender only end the match, it won't stop another player from killing you. Thirdly, since you can't refuse the battle from enemy in front of you, even if you surrender one game, they will just challenge you again right after. So, unless you're fighting with an opponent who doesn't intend to kill you or doesn't want all of your point, surrender won't benefit you in anyway. If you manage to kill another player, you get all of the point they have, with this in mind, an unfriendly opponent will go after your life for all of your points. |

| this show is pretty enjoyable so far, honestly. lets just hope they keep it action-heavy and easy to watch. I feel like this is the kind of show that suffers from taking any big risks. the whole game setup is simple but effective, and as a gacha addict I had to smirk at some of the elements like point-pulling weapon gacha. the characters also make a surprising amount of sense for these kind of shows, maybe Shuka feels a little too bendable for me but its ok |
