This anime had 2 genres mixed well to perfection, from comedy to drama, I felt emotions of laughter, anger and sadness
Simply very good 8.5/10

The fight was underwhelming from what I'd thought it would be, guess the fight with the Warmaster will stay the best fight so far. Although I should've expected nothing else since that Demon Lord is OP af. I'm glad they set it up for a season 2, hope they announce it soon.

I told myself I'd give this a 6/10 if they somehow managed to return everything to the status quo at the end of the series. If Seiya had either lived and has his memories return or died and stayed dead, I'd have given this series a 7/10 (hell, maybe 8/10).

...6/10 it is. You could argue that Ristarte changed, but only in a way that enhanced all her worst attributes. Now, she's even more clingy and more useless than before. At least she still has her tsukkomi ability, though?

Really nice finale episode! I would be fine if it all stopped here although I would also gladly welcome a second season if we eventually got one. I loved the comedy and the characters in this series and even with the serious tone of the final few episodes being unexpected, I thought it was well done.

solid 8/10!

Really loved the ending I scored it from 6 to 7 to 8 now. Rista changed a bit and Yuusha will not remember her again. 3rd time may be he will like her. XD

Your math is way off!!!

20 hours in Gaebrande is 360 days in the gods realm. That's 3.6 days in Seiyas world.

Thanks, I took days for years. Still 84 days in Gaeabrande equal 1 year in Seiyas world...

Both of you are off. At about 4:52 in the 2nd episode they said that Ten minutes on Gaeabrande is roughly 16 hours in the divine realm... in other words, about 100 to 1 (the math would be 96 to 1.... but they did say "roughly"). So about the same time has passed in Seiya's world as has passed in Gaeabrande.

I don’t think she will be clingy in that creepy way. It looks more like she might start acting matured. Like her Tiana self since she now remembers her past life and faced that pain though she can act funny as usual too.

I had hoped that would be the case (I actually really liked how mature she acted as a normal human), but the first thing she did after saving Seiya was try and force him to kiss her to the point where he punched her.

Impossibly cautious and impossibly tsundere. Gotta be about to die to show some kind of affection.
Mercuri said:
Ok an SS World the main problem will be when he reach the max level again but now he's Ridiculously Cautious. at First I thought all the fights would be easy and Seiya would 1 shot everyone including the Demon King.

That can be hard as heck. Since he was already defeated there it's possible that armors/weapons designed to kill the demon king, or materials for them won't exist anymore. Just that will already put that world at the second worst possible case for the S-world, given that the demon king there hasn't developed a weapon to kill gods yet, and that its power has also scaled, so that it is at least as powerful as the one of the S-world.

And about Ristarte's healing powers... well, I expect he'll be having medicinal herbs to use for the most part lol.

Oh, I just took a peek and, oh, dear...

That's a cool cover. About your spoiler, I think it's something everyone realized already, that it's the original world, so no worries. Now I wonder if there is any short summary somewhere of what will happen in their future adventures?

So they're starting from a scratch. I wonder if we will see S2.

The anime covered LNs Vol 1-2, which adapt the 1st original webnovel arc.

LNs 3-5 adapt the 2nd WN arc, which would be the basis for a S2.

LN Vol 6-7 is covering the 3rd WN arc, which ended last September 2019.

Author has posted 1 chapter of a 4th WN arc.

BTW, here is Vol 7's cover.

Guess I'm in the minority this time. For one of the stronger shows this season, this ending felt pretty weak. And if I'm reading correctly that this was a pretty faithful adaptation then that's even more disappointing because it felt like a rush job.

Well yeah there is ton of cut content specially gore scene.

I recommend you try read the LN that didn't hide the details, if those scene included this anime will be not a comedy but tragedy instead.

I was just waiting to see what kind of half-assed excuse they'd pull out to revive Seiya at the end. Wasn't the worst reasoning I've ever seen but it still makes the things leading up to it feel less important again

Overall still a fun and self-aware anime though but I think it hit its peak quite early in its airing

Lowkey this was the best isekai experience we've gotten in quite a while honestly. It has genuine laughs, it has heavy feels, it has a refreshing premise, and it certainly wasn't afraid to experiment with itself. What's not to love? I really can't think of anything wrong with the anime. I really enjoyed it.

Still, though, it's one twist after another, huh? More ready perfectly is gonna be needed now that they're going back to the world Seiya previously failed. It's gonna be a rough wait for this one.

Great final episode. It really had one of those moments where things just clicked and all the previous episodes suddenly made sense. Good way to add meaning to a character and story that people thought had no substance behind it.

There were some great laughs along the way. This was probably the funniest anime of the season for sure. The comedy was really direct and somewhat refreshing. Nice job for a worn out genre.

Well, it might not be KonoSuba level, but still very solid. I doubt we will get 2nd season, but who knows, strange things happen sometimes. I guess he will somehow keep his memories this time. I'm just not sure if I could go back to full comedy mode after those last two episodes.

This anime is perfect. They successfully bring you from comedic isekai to serious and sadness aura in a neat way. This is what I called quality isekai.

There is a chance for another season, but seeing the fin state of Ristarte and Seiya, Season 2 maybe will have less comedy because hey, look at how down Ristarte after Seiya's death and now she got chance to be with him again. (I don't know if this is true or not in Light Novel, it's just my opinion as non-reader)

Final score : 10/10

Let's hope that we will get a proper S2 with Seyia reroll in that SS world but this time without the max lvl lock.

Very solid 8/10, I might read the LN if they won't make a S2 next year.

This anime is nothing more than 6/10. This is the laziest ending I have ever saw in any anime. They just had no idea how to make this fight with the demon lord so they make Sayia to do Valhalla gate 2 times in a row. This is just poore writing. They made this demon lord too OP so they didn't even show the whole fight bcs Sayia would die in 2 secs. He almost died fighting the warchief so he wouldn't stand a chance aginst S-lvled demon lord. And humor in this anime wasn't that good. They were making the same jokes over and over again.

I wasn't expecting Episode 12 to be released so soon!

Overall, I enjoyed the show. The comedic moments were hit-and-miss at times - although it does hit its stride once the comedy sets in. I appreciated Rista and Seiya's chemistry, and really enjoyed the moments with the Gods in the Divine Realm - especilly Adenela.

I feel I would like this show a lot more if it was one episode longer and they spent it on fleshing out the Backstory of the pervious episode - which I found rushed beyond belief.
Tone shifts in stories can work wonders if done correctly (Gintama and Sora No Otoshimono/Heaven's Lost Property are perfect examples), but this one needed more time to pace itself and allow the viewer to be fully invested.

Glad I watched this show, I would like a 2nd Season but would also be satisfied if they ended it here.
...I would be over-the-moon if Seiya and Rista were included in Isekai Quartet, though.

A good and funny show at least for the first 10 episodes. 11 & 12 were totally different with a dramatic atmosphere that prevent me from having a single smile (unlike many previous scenes). It gets me a bit confused since the level of comedy was actually high during 10 weeks.

I don't know what's current state of the manga/light novel but for me, the story seems concluded so I do not really expect anything as a sequel.

I'm perfectly okay if there isn't a second season because I do feel like this is a good ending for the anime. Yes, it would be interesting how to tackle a SS difficulty world that has already been taken over, but at the same time I feel like it wouldn't be as 'comedic' as the 1st season. Though, I'd likely read the manga to see if I'm correct.

That being said, episode 11 and 12 were really good. The only that lacks is really the art and the animation. From a story point it is pretty solid though. Nothing amazing, but definitely shows some thought was put into it. It was well written.

Overall, the anime is solid, but nothing too great. Better art/animation would have done a lot for it, but I think they executed this idea of a cautious hero as well as they could have
