Your post was only made about 2 weeks ago, there have been a whopping 5 posts after yours. Before your post, there were 300 other posts and about 60 of them mentioned something bad regarding the CG titan (including ones where it wasn't even the main focus of their post). Half of those posts were people discussing or agruing with them back and forth about the CG.

I'm pretty sure the people who dislike AoT had been shitting on it for other reasons long before the CG titan showed up in S2 and here in S3. Stating that it's just haters complaining about the CG and calling it nitpicking is silly.

Hell, I'm sure the majority of the people who complain about the CG Titan enjoy the show which is why they're annoyed that they've made it CG rather than 2D, especially people who liked how the Colossal Titan was animated in S1 or manga readers.

Like I mentioned earlier, it is a huge CG Titan in the middle of the screen of a 2D show. It's quite easy to be distracted by how it looks so complaints about it are reasonable, especially when it was originally 2D in the first season. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the show yet disliking how the CG Colossal titan looks. I am sure that the reason "haters" dislike the show is not based on the CG Titan lol.
Do you even know what "nitpicking" means; how it's even utilized or even the circumstances involved in its use? Ummkay, You want to change the narrative of my original post about nitpicking and make it about the cg pet peeve most of you guys have here? I mentioned cg as my target yet nitpicking was the motivation of my complaint. Well it doesn't matter now since this exchange is pointless. I'm surprised and amused that you would actually make a census of those who posted before me. Such dedication and time wasted over a post already irrelevant of "two weeks" ago lol. I concede to whatever you were trying to say. Go take this W, I insist lol.

The narrative of your original post makes it seem like the discussions/complaints of the cg are your main focus, not the act of nitpicking itself but ok.

A few minutes of skimming through posts didn't take much effort lol.The point of bringing up how old your post was to show that it was a recent post, meaning there was a month's worth of posts before yours. Plenty to look/skim through and find one to discuss the episode regarding the events that occurred within it if that's what you wanted.

Instead of doing that you decided to make a post complaining about those dang cg nitpickers when you could've either responded to a post not discussing the cg or just made one yourself discussing what you thought about the episode itself.

I just found that amusing which why I bothered quoting and making these two replies in the first place but I guess I was participating in some kind of e-argument competition instead.

Bertolt's preachy monologue was funny. Nobody is wrong, the world is just cruel. But let's move on with our plan of wiping out these people (filthy race, as Reiner would say).

Out of the three traitors, Annie was actually the one who had the most empathy towards her comrades with her only being able to take away Marco's ODM gear because she was intensely pressured to do so. To think that Jean's best friend wouldn't have to be half the man he used to be if he flew into the scene a few seconds later... Seeing Zeke and the two have a coffee break on top of the wall was pretty menacing considering how they're all horrible monsters responsible for that district's destruction too.

Reiner being able to direct his consciousness towards his whole body so he can continue to live and heal even when his brain completely blew up was crazy but that part where Bertholdt flew into the sky and transformed into the Colossal Titan with an impact that looked just like a nuclear bomb after he finally stopped being the usual timid and apologetic person he was is definitely one the most insane-looking parts of the series!

i really should have read up on previous seasons before watching this one. i honestly don't remember the completely backstory, what was the goal of Reiner and his group? if i remember correctly, they aren't necessarily the "bad guys"

I know Hange isn't dead but it still hurts.
I'm looking forward to the fights and strategy they will make to defeat the Colossal Titan.

I still don't understand why they delayed it into part 2 that time why split season 3 into 2 parts so that they released part 2 at later time?

Because they needed more time. By the end of Part 1 the staff were overworked. Production got messy.

It was still mess for part 2

it is necessary for staff to get breaks too
and I think the production of part 2 wasn't a mess in any way but it wasn't really top notch but was pretty good
plus why would people like to get overworked and exhausted just for the demands of fans , they too are humans and need rest

From what I read they really struggled with this part they had to do it in 7 months after all and a few of the epiosdes have like 10 directors or key animator's.

They where still overworked doing this part as they probably had to do vinland saga as well. And didn't have Much staff working on this besides a few freelancers

And Wada the producer bragged about it as well apprently.

CGI looks a little out of place ..but I dont mind it that much either..

Lets see what other fun activities the war chief has planned..

So Reiner is dead or somehow still not? And yea, the colossal titan looks better. So is Hange dead? Cause it's dumb what they did. Also the op is good tho not better than "Shinzou wo Sasageyo!" and the en is sad.

Damn, for such an important and "epic" moment as Colossal Titan's atomic bomb transformation I do have a hard time accepting it because it for sure does contradict all the other times we've seen him transform. With explosions like this he wouldn't even have to kick the gates of to break them. Explanations like "he can choose whether to transform with an explosion or not" doesn't work for me because in this case the transformation risked Reiner's life. Also all the characters for some reason feared the transformation as if they knew there would be an explosion, even though they've seen him transform before with little to no explosion.

Bertolt has come a long way since how he was originally, now he's just cold and composed with a resolve to follow his duty without even thinking about it emotionally. He has come to accept that the world is cruel and that's just how it is.

With Bertolt transformed into the colossal titan, things are getting fired up, LITERALLY! Colossal titan is truly just the epitome of brute strength. A complete bomb and powerhouse that just makes the battle a nightmare.

HANGE BETTER BE ALIVE OR ELSE I RIOT

bertoldt has changed A LOT, he's become a lot harder, and his mid air transformation was impressive to see

the flashback of marco's death was v sad!! it was nice to see how it actually happened but wow that was dark. and i remember, his death is what set jean on his path to the survey corps as well

but what exactly is their aim? to get the coordinate power from eren (presumably by eating him?) and then do what? why do all the humans inside the walls have to die?? i feel like i would be able to sympathise with reiner and bertoldt more if i understood them and their intentions

also war chief zeke? who is that? i thought the third guy looked like erwin's father but maybe i was wrong

Damn Bertold finaly became serious as hell and doesn't feel like a pushover anymore. Now he definitely feels like a terrifying foe to fight against. I'm also very glad we were finaly shown Marcos last moments before being brutally fed to a titan and the unexpected reactions from Annie, Reiner and Bertold while they were witnessing the scene.

Wow this was a phenomenal episode. One of my favorites from the show so far. This was Bertholdt's episode and he owned it. Amazing character development for him. He's gone a long way since season one. Loved seeing the flashback of Marco's death. That was a heartbreaking scene. Bertholdt and Reiner on the wall was another great flashback. Reiner telling Bertholdt he finally believes in him was nice, and i liked the bump on the back before getting ready for battle.

The second half of the episode with Armin trying to negotiate with Bertholdt + that transformation scene was incredible. The OST, VA and dialogue were on another level. "That's right, nobody's in the wrong. Because this world is just... that cruel." is one of the best lines from the show. The Colossal Titan CGI didn't bother me. It looked really awkward in a few shots, but i got used to it already. An episode this good might not even be top 3 for this arc. Crazy.

holy fuck what an episode!
I can't believe they really did Marco dirty like that
I thought he just accidentally got caught by a titan and the trio saw him die but Reiner pretty much handed him to that titan on a silver plate...He really needs some therapy ngl, no way this dissociation thing is good for his mental health...though then again neither is causing half of humanity to die...

Bert had really good character development, as far as antagonists go at least
He did reach this weird positive nihilistic outlook tho

I hope Hange is ok...
Bertold showed us he is a really strong character. But the scene when they fed Marco to the titan was horrible...
I wonder how they can defeat the colossal titan now, it surely won't be easy.
And is Reiner deffinitely dead or just waiting to heal himself?
And that Zeke looks like Erwin's father to me. Will there by any son/dad interaction?

They showed how Marco died for fuck sake these dudes think they're a bunch of saints questioning why did Marco die well of course you left him there to get eaten why wouldn't he be

Well shit that's going to be a problem itself while Bertolt came into the scene these two might not get separated it seems I'm almost sick and tired even when they showed their faces for the first time I'm just done with their shenanigans

I thought Armin would've died fighting Bertolt one on one goo thing Mikasa was right there almost killed him too, And there he goes once knowing Reiner is safe Bertolt transformed to his Titan form and this is going to be a huge pain in the ass.

Marco gave me flashback when Jean was talking about him and I thought he died from some kind of disease but it's just the usual way of killing people here.. Titans.. Yeah I mean Marco's death was unbearable to watch as Reiner and Bert would assumed he'd spread out their identity but it's quite fair enough for the sake of those two however Marco is somewhat dear to Jean so I'd assumed Jean would do something physical to Reiner when the story progresses, also it was nice to see Annie for the least, she didn't come back from the past seasons :c

they finally showed the complete thing that happened with marco. feels bad man :(

c'mon man reiner again transferred his consciousness to his ass and survived. no i think he transferred it to his titan body, no idea how he's still alive, his skull-ified face looked creepy af.

i think bertlot has become mentally and physically stronger now. that beast titan dude must have trained him real good.

bertlot said he has no choice but to kill everyone inside the walls, then everyone should just go outside the walls man, ez

man did they just kill of hange san just like that?? like just blown away by explosion? u can't kill off such a great character so meaninglessly, at least give a proper death c'mon man :(

armin was so panicked when everyone was just staring at him and asking for orders, don't wanna be in his shoes man.

looks like just the levi squad is gonna try to take on colossal titan, wonder what's gonna happen now. excited for next episode.

marco's death at the start there wow. with annie hesitating a LOT that was incredibly hard to watch

honestly berthold didnt really seem "different" he always had that unshakeable part in him. even when reiner kept changing between his soldier-warrior persona he stayed still as a worrier. even if he was timid at times he still had his big big goal in mind. he did break at that time where he was cornered by the group but thats.. it. i think.

cg collosal titan didnt really look the best tbh but eh didnt bother me that much

Ah forget about how Reiner could actually manage to transfer his consciousness to the whole body, then its to the whole titan too. No wonder he's able to scream the signal. For the worst, Bertholdt actually not hiding inside the wall. But he's in the other side of the wall waiting to give them real hell. That's really unexpected strategy. Together with Marco death which become Bertholdt justification and basic of his character development. By all those determination, Bertholdt really showed his true self, even to the naive Armin that think its still worth a shot to talk things out with the enemy. As i already said earlier, its just too late, dear Armin. He even dare to sacrificed Hange squad too, caught up to those big explosion. Dang this episode, too hard....
